Okay, but my mum was saying I should apply again through the paper route. But with a better closing balance.

If I'm to apply through the paper route will I have to leave the originals of my documents with CDHC?

Pally, online route is still the best. Tell ur sponsor to liquidate the tbills and fixed dep and let the funds be in her acc for some time. Then refire with a good closing bal. That's all u need to do. If u dare paper route, u'll wait for ages. But its still ur call

I applied through the online route...

For the SOA's: My Inlaw & my Sister's: payslip, of more than
1m monthly, an account with closing balance of 1.4m but total credit was about 5m, Treasury bills of 3m and fixed deposit of 2m
and a sponsorship letter..

Other documents were, their marriage certificate, my letter of acceptance, my birth certificate but I didn't submit my academic. Docs like my WAEC and others.
pls the acc wit closing balance of 1.4m was it in ur name or ur sponsor and did u pay ur tuition b4 applying tru the online route?

Thanks Beulah. U have gingered my spirit.
Beulah Hephziba: @Ajik1,
Congrats. Do not panic about this. Everything work together for good to them that love God.
This situation has been dealt with on this thread, just that I can't
remember vividly the resolutions.
Anyway, from my experience, it is not advisable to travel in your first
trimester(0-3 months) for obvious reasons, but you are good to travel in your second trimester, coupled with the fact that you have to check with your doctor.

That said, with the above information you have nothing to fear.
If I were you, I will write a letter to the Visa officer about this, I
will disclose this outright, and I will also make him to understand that if my application is successful, I plan to travel in my second
trimester contingent upon my doctor's report if am good to go. Telling the VO before he finds out, shows;
1) you are in control of the situation
2) credibility and transparency
3) you are not desperate cuz all your cards are already on the table whatever happens.

With this, just trust God, and He will appear for you and sort you out. Do not panic.

ajik1: Thanks Beulah. U have gingered my spirit.

@ Ajik1, In addition to what I said, make sure your SOA is durable, viable, sufficient and enough to cover you and your expected baby. Let them see you are in control. If your application finds peace and favour with the VO, he will ask you to be checked again by the doctor.
Commit every step into God's hand, and anytime you are afraid, trust Him.

Hello Britiko, congrats on your trv receipt!
Why did you have to convince the VO so much on your home ties and certainty of return?
Is your husband not based in Nigeria??

(Why I ask is because i intend to sponsor my wife on study visa for HRM Masters Certificate as well)

Thanks.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 5 by toucheli(m): 8:42pm On Jan 04, 2014
Please I need some help from you all, I intend applying for a canadian student visa to resume by May(Undergraduate), I'm been sponsored and supported by my dad financially. But he left me to do everything my self, I'm pretty young and I'm not familiar with the whole process.
I've been able to get the following documents:
-Secondary school certificate/Results
-Transcript
-International Passport
-Letter of acceptance (Paid the tuition already)
-Police Report
-Attestation of birth from NPC.
Hence, I'm a lot confused about the financial and funding documents I am to provide, my sponsor is willing to provide them but he also doesn't know anything about them. Please I need your help, God bless you all.
