Feminist! No wonder she isn't married...
In your feeble little mind you made sense, And what If she wasn't married, does it affect you in anyway? Oh! obviously it does cause your an ignorant typical cave man.

Getting married is a choice, not everyone is desperate for marriage and feminism as nothing to do with one getting married or not,It all about gender equality.

By the way she's married, are you?
FamilyRe: Being A Strong Woman Isnt Remarkable, It's Normal - Adichie by NickiRoman: 10:30am On May 30, 2015

I wholeheartedly agree with her.

Anyone else couldn't have said it better.

She's spot on.
She inspires me,She hits the nail right on.
Women are constantly being subjected to violence, always to told to silence their voice and do things they don't want to do cause their female

We need gender equality.
FamilyRe: Her Brother Slapped Their Mum Twice. Should She Arrest Him? by NickiRoman: 10:00am On May 30, 2015
Jman06:
I never justified what the woman did.

What does the son mean by "slap her hand down". That's utter rubbish! He simply slapped the old lady! Slapping mustn't be on the cheeks, remember.
Why are you focusing on the guy, simply ignoring what the mother did. You being emotional rather than rational

So because she is his mother she has a right a to slap him despite the fact she is at fault,She created the problem and she is escalating it further
FamilyRe: Her Brother Slapped Their Mum Twice. Should She Arrest Him? by NickiRoman: 8:39am On May 30, 2015
Jman06:
Don't try to justify what the guy did. It was very wrong of him. He should have simply left the house at that moment.
And don't try to justify what his mother did and Oh! from the update of the event, just found out he never even slapped her he dodged being slapped again by her,and she still went ahead to lie against her son.

What do you have to say about that?
FamilyRe: Her Brother Slapped Their Mum Twice. Should She Arrest Him? by NickiRoman: 11:11pm On May 29, 2015
Jman06:
So being controlling, possessive and jealous is now a valid reason to hit a woman?

Would you support a man hitting his wife because she's controlling, possessive and jealous?
You don't get it,Is mother slapped him first, he's response was wrong but not every one responds well to violence.
FamilyRe: Her Brother Slapped Their Mum Twice. Should She Arrest Him? by NickiRoman:
[quote author=Jman06 post=34229313]Your son is sure gonna slap you like Oscar did to his mom. So it is now justifiable for a man to raise his hand on a woman? Because his mom is the victim? Ladies of nowadays and their hypocrisy! Y'all forget that a man who can slap his mom can not only slap but also punch his wife.

Not supporting what the woman did but Oscar was very wrong for slapping his own mother. He should have just left the house without having to attack the old lady.

Involving the police in the matter is not a very good option. Rather, the family should settle the issue amicably and Oscar should be made to understand that it was very wrong of him to slap his mom. He should then apologize profusely to his mom and come up with a better way of making his mom understand the role Tania has played in his life and how it is not possible for him to dump her for another lady for no cogent reason. Meanwhile, Oscar should be sure he isn't overlooking too many faults in Tania just because she helped him get a job.

FamilyRe: Her Brother Slapped Their Mum Twice. Should She Arrest Him? by NickiRoman: 10:49pm On May 29, 2015
The mother shouldn't have slapped Oscar in the first place, Not everyone responds well to violence,She needs to know her place hating on your son's fiancée doesn't make sense.

Two wrongs don't make a right, He shouldn't have hit her back knowing how childish she is.
He needs to go back and apologize.

At times I wonder if people ever just sit down and think,Guys like you are the ones tarnishing the image of our Nigerian brothers.

You are incredibly self centered, I don't even care about you and your sham of a marriage, am only concerned about that child, the child you obviously don't care about. No child deserves to grow up in such a toxic environment, yet all you can talk about is how it's not yet time to get divorced, not even thinking about all this is affecting your own child.

I Pity You.

Welcome to open marriage part 2! cheesy

OP'm?
I don't think you are using your head at full capacity.
WHAT ARE YOU SACRIFICING?

The only thing I can see being sacrificed "wisdom"! kiss

According to you oooooooh. . . . . . .

1. The spark has fizzzzzzled(if there was any spark in the first place? I think not!)
2. You can't stand the separation, even when the dude is clearly enjoying the separation.
3. You are seeking advice from the 'misery love company' in the same group to console yourself that things will get better?
4. You want to give up your financial/professional independence for a man who cannot do the same(what makes you think the dude will prefer to come over to the UK to work in factories because of LOVE?)

Separation in marriage can only survive in the latter stages of marriage. . . .AFTER A GOOD SOLID 10 YEARS OR MORE. . . . .After the foundation has been built on commitment, if not love and respect.

I doubt the marriage will have any future even if you choose to move closer to be with your husband or vice versa. 3 years of marriage and living like strangers? undecided

Sounds like a marriage 'by force' or 'convenience'!

Na which kain marriage be dis? undecided

I don put 'mutt' o. . . . .

When all most of you do is just to lie like a log of wood about to be used for cooking while the guy pounds.

mutter:
That is a ground for divorce in a court of law.

Depends on how long it has been going on.
It depends on the reason.
If I think my husband has been sleeping around and could infect me, then I am justified in denying him intimacy.

However if there is no genuine reason--- many fishes in the sea.
You probably won't give this same advice to your fellow woman.

But I still will want her to work and achieve her childhood dreams. Everyone has that dream occupation they wanted and it will be my job as a partner to help her fulfil it. If the dream is only a dream, she must have things shr wants to do with her time and life.

The argument about house chores holds no water because I intend to do it with her. Not because of anything but it is part of me contributing my quota to taking care of our home.it is me telling her I have got her back and she does not have to do all the work herself as we are in it together. It is me reassuring her that I will rather do things together with her that for her or have her do things for me.

It is my responsibility, she is a helpmate not a slave. She is my wife not my maid.

When it all comes down, a quickie in the kitchen is a lot more available and when it comes to the main getting down, there will be no complains of tiredness because the work has been shared *wink*
I understand where you are coming from, I think he is referring to the illiterates and also educated men who don't want their wife to work because they see themselves as the"bread winner" but don't give much appreciation to their wife's cause they feel their just "House Wives".
