Congratulations to those who have received the invite, and also to people still awaiting theirs. This invite brings you a step closer to getting the award - whether you believe or not. I look forward to hearing success stories of people here.

This is my little tip for the interview:

Ensure you go with all documents stated in your invite - originals and photocopies. The photocopies should be at least two copies each, make extra one for your means of Id, as a copy will be required to get your transport allowance.

The interview usually consist of 7 - 8 panel of interviewers. They are from different fields of knowledge. Interviewees will be asked questions in their field as well as current affairs by any member of the panel. The current affairs is what usually throw people off guard. If you are the type who don't care about history and happenings in your environment, I beg you to do for the sake of this interview.

For instance: June 5 of every year is world environment day, and this day in year 2000 was when NDDC was established. Be conversant with dates - state creation in Nigeria, Civil war, World war; years of establishment of bodies like UN, AU, IMF et al. Names of Ministers serving in this dispensation and their portfolio. Meaning of acronyms of some agencies of government. Location of some prominent features in Nigeria and the world at large. Someone was asked where Orinoco basin is at a time. Festivals and Mountains in Nigeria. Geo-political zones and the states under each of them. There is no limit to what you can be asked. Just be prepared.

If you don't have NYSC certificate, I will implore you not to attend except you have a big man standing in for you. In all, dress properly.

For the selfie lovers, I bet you will have a field day - . The interview environment is what posh queens and kings will want on their social media pages. So keep your phone fully charged!

FRIENDS, I was invited for ptdf and nddc CBT, and they are both scheduled for the same day, 8th July. my ptdf is to be taken at Federal Government College Enugu while nddc is to be taken at Rivers state univ ph. please, what do you guys advise me to do?

Congratulations to those who have received the invite. For those yet to receive, just keep calm, yours will definitely come.

I want to believe so much has been said on this platform as regards the format of the test. For the engineering guys, practice with indianbix. Geoscience - physcical geology by plummer will come handy. Environmnetal science - from chemistry to biology to physics to geography. Just read up.

Regardless of the failings of NDDC in paying scholars promptly, the scholarship is still a golden opportunity to be educated outside the shores of Nigeria. Give it your very best. It will bring life changing opportunity to some people.

Note that this aptitude test is only one part of the assessment that make up the entire scholarship process. The higher you score, the brighter your chance of getting it. Another important factor is the correlation between your first degree and your proposed degree. This is one factor applicants over look and have paid darely for. I have seen people score so high in the test but end up not getting it because of lack of correlation in their courses.


Regardless of how people will want to paint this scheme as lacking in merit and credibility, I must say that such can't be totally written off, but there is to a large extent regard for merit. Ensure you give it your best, and let whatever faith you believe in work out the rest for you.

On a final note - ensure you don't delete the text message (invite) you were sent, as the codes and numbers stated in it will come handy during the interview process. You will need to fill them on a form you will be given during the oral interview.

Let them start a successful business and in a bid to be liberal, divulge their trade secrets on a forum like this and expect to remain in business. Maybe Coca-cola should have told us what makes its Cola taste different from Pepsi, maybe we would all be making Coke today.

And when they get employed in Shell or wherever, let them keep revealing their employer's internal info and expect a pat on the back, even a promotion letter waiting on their desks.

I'm all for benevolence and rendering kind assitance and meaning support wherever appropriate. But wisdom is profitable to direct.

I have charity for all and malice towards know. But anyone who traduces me verbally or typographically will reap same from me tacitly or expressly.

Note the questions are slightly different with experience,but its kind of related,you just av to av good scenarios that will fit for answering. Hope it helps

Lolz... I just discovered that the two roles I applied for (Process engineering and Production Manufacturing) are not even available for this particular year graduate recruitment.... Any need going through all these stress...? The advert I followed didn't show the available roles, I just saw the available roles on their site now.
