I dont know the rates in Mushin/Agege axis but here in Osapa/ IgboEfon area, 1bdr flat is around 2.5 - 3m while 1 room self-contain is around 1.5-1.8m. 4/5 bdrm duplexes are being rented at around 8-10m yearly. Most folks who find it difficult to cope with the increasing rates are moving towards Lakowe/ Eleko axis

I was shocked when they billed me 30k per night at Hotel Benezer when I visited Asaba 3 months ago. This was the same place I used to pay 15k per night just less than 2 years back. I don't even want to talk about their food and drinks. I wonder the kind of job people do down there to afford that lifestyle.

My daughter is a perfectionist and had oftentimes presented straight A results. My son's best subject is Further Maths while his performance in English is usually on the average scale. Meanwhile, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are my daughter's best subjects unlike we her parents that ran away from science class because of those numeric courses.

How am I deceiving him? All I said was that IRCC will issue a visa if they think the man is eligible. We all know that the refusal rate is high, but some lucky folks are still getting it, even those with zero travel history.

I helped my sister and her daughter apply in November. Their visas were approved in February. Her only travel history was Ghana.

Her itinerary was February 10 to 19. Going on vacation with her child.

Booked 2 hotels to spend 5 nights in Toronto and 4 nights in Montreal.

Her account balance then was 7.3 million naira and $2200 in a domiciliary account.

I ignored that guy for a reason especially when I read the part where he alluded to me having a zero-travel experience.

If the IRCC thinks you are eligible, they will still grant you a visa. Whether or not the vacation or visitation period you provided in your application has already elapsed or passed is irrelevant to them.

Since your application for a US visa has expired, I don't think you will enjoy the expedited processing time.

Your application will be placed in the queue and processed within the standard processing timeline.

After biometrics, the processing time is currently 109 days.

109 days is like a month past my vacation days which happens to be my main purpose for the visa application. Do you think this will affect my chances?

I helped her renew her U.S. visa through Dropbox before applying for her Canadian visa because I know that if your U.S. visa is not current, they may not expedite the process as they usually would. I think you should have renewed your U.S. visa before applying for the Canadian one.

It expired about 9 years ago. I didn't do dropbox cos I felt I don't have any plan of traveling to US anytime soon. I noticed that it now takes longer to apply for US visa especially when you miss the opportunity for dropbox, so I decided not to waste time and money sine time is not really on my side.

Applied for my aunty on the 6th April , biometrics on the 9th April and approval on the 14th April. London vfs office, bvl came from IRCC London office.
She has an unused recently issued USA visa and a previously expired USA visa used once.

I was ready for the London horror stories of long waiting times but I’m surprised!

I believe the valid US visa did the magic. I have an expired US visa which I used twice in the past but I'm still awaiting decision after 3 weeks of biometrics completion.

I've tried severally to pay for my visa and biometric fees using my GTB and Union Bank cards all to no avail. I kept getting 'payment declined" response each time I try to check out. Can somebody please advise me on how to resolve this issue.
