Nigeria became amalgamated in 1914. Before and around 1914, there was no higher educational institution in Nigeria. Yaba Tech, by whichever status, came in probably around the 1930s or even later. Yoruba people should stop telling lies that even the blind can decipher, using Nigeria's name. I beg!

The white people who establised Yaba Tech did not claim they are establishing the 3rd oldest higher institution in Africa nor the 27th in the world. FYI, Many reputable Igbos studied at Yaba Tech for e.g. Cyprian Ekwensi, one of the greatest novelists in Nigeria

Again the first black rector of Yaba Tech was an Igbo. So Igbo have a reason to praise YABA Tech when right and condemn it when wrong.
