I wish to clarify a few things on the now locked thread - Unban YAWA and DHTML

She was not banned.  She resigned under the guise of having a problem with the antispam bot in order to lure people to one of her sites.  DHTML was banned because he tried to get us in trouble with google's content policy and started cloning the usernames of members like you.  disruption.  I decided to unban him because he did me a favor, but this move isn't popular with the supermods so I've been stalling.

I wish to clear a few things. I only cloned the admin (seun himself like over 20 times) and a few mods (micheline89,debosky) and myself (uncountable times) - ordinary members were not in any way affected (or did you get any complaints from members that they were being cloned?).

Yes i did bleeped up on that one (and i did apologized) 'cause that was totally unnecessary, and that prolonged my ban.

And i believe we have trashed out all that cloning stuff. But if you recollect clearly, it was after i was banned for bypassing the language censoring and spam bot censoring that i unleashed my nairaland ID cloning machine out of pure annoyance (which is now on permanent leave).

Now that story about yawa too as far as i know is not correct or maybe i heard something different (i will not go into details about that).

clone again? i can clone them on NL if seun wont mind. I did not read anywhere on NL rules that cloning the admin is a bannable offense.

I have cleared all my charges with seun, and so there is now peace. Everybody can now go to their houses peacefully. All is well that ends well.

Just for the records the reason given by Seun as regards Yawatide's issue remains completely false as I was copied by the email Yawatide sent to Seun and Seun's subsequent reply so the facts are far from what Seun said. Seun writes to his moderators as if he is talking to his house helps some idiots and that is totally unacceptable and would amount to a shame for any moderator who may have been addressed as such not to complain as Yawatide did.

Yawatide resigned based on principles and that is commendable.

About setting up another forum I personally told Yawatide that as web developers setting up a forum is ok but certainly not on a ning platform and for the records anyone reserves the right to setup a forum for whatever reasons.

She's been shirking her responsibilities for ages, that's why she got the strongly worded PM.
Is it "principles" when you resign because your boss questioned you for failing miserably at your job?

She didn't resign on "principles".  She thought she saw weakness and decided to exploit it, that's
all.  Yawa-ti-de is a clever politician; I'll give her that.  She's deceiving you and you don't realize it yet.
