Tonight, I have to agree with them. What is the point of putting the Ojukwu vs Abiola popularity thread on the front page if not to stoke ethnic tensions and profit from the ensuing battle?

It appears that there are intentions to profit from the constant tribal battles on Nairaland. I have to say this is rather shameful and pathetic.

I saw the post you reported and I did nothing to it because IMO it was his opinion/analysis (faulty, may be) and not an insult.

We do not delete posts or recommend a poster for a ban cause we think the opinion presented is faulty and biased, else we will need to delete more than 70% of the posts on NL. Faulty opinions give room to healthy debate and education which a forum like this is meant for.

This new interface looks rubbish, and it's not well defined. I like the extra features but you should kept the "table" format you before, rather than changing to "div" format. If you insist on you using the "div" - you should at least make it more defined - and specify a proper size for the "body" - rather than making the "body" take over the full screen.

You may lose a lot of forum(ites) with this new interface - this is just my two cent.
