If we are to believe everything Arsene says, then available money to spend has never been his problem. And over the past few months, he has repeated it over and over again.
I don't think dropping out of the CL at this stage will change anything. AW himself has said he is 'looking to bring in players no matter what happens tonight'. If I am allowed, Il add that, dropping out tonight won't make him change his mind on bringing in a player if he had no intention in the first place. I think after the last 6 years, we know that much about our manager. Moreover, its just 7 days to the close of market.

Asides the departures of Cesc and Nasri, there's not much difference this year from other years. Infact, we've brought in more 'first team' players this year compared to recent years. The quality of these players may be debatable but at least we've brought them in. One or two more 'super quality' additions to replace the lost players will take us back to where we were before i.e. a top 4 side   capable of topping the table till February  

side joke: even if we drop out, Arsene will tell us playing in the Europa league isn't a disaster.
