The man is definitely a fraud. His name is a fraud to start with. Thats a name he coined for himself to further hoodwink the gullible ones. I always knew him as a fraud but it was further confirmed to me after I read his magazine of testimonies, which an Id iot follower of his placed in my car. Among the divers fraudulent claims of testimonies, was one particular testimony that disgusted me so much. In that particular testimony, a member/follower, claimed that he was broke and had no money anywhere and his Bank account was empty. But his bank account being empty, didnt stop him from heading to the BANK ATM machine, placing his card in the slot and receiving thousands of naira from the ATM machine. After I read that 'testimony', my first thought was to take that magazine and go straight to the police and report the church and that thief that made that testimony for stealing people's money at the ATM machine but after my anger cooled off, I let it slide knowing that nothing would probably come out of it if I took it up. For a person who calls himself a christian(never mind "man of God"  , to endorse such a testimony and even publish it and encourage such, it shows exactly what that person is and what his motives are. Dr Sign Fireman, is a fraud and a criminal. He uses that his club to seduce and hook people who are looking for short-cuts and quick fixes. I have never called any other person who is a pastor of a congregation a fraud but I will confidently say so of Dr Sign Fireman. |

@eguerrilla May I know where you it those articles ? eGuerrilla: I suspected this, thats why I wondered why the reporter didn't ask the right question. Where's did he get his money? Or probably the reporter asked but didn't like the answer because it will spoil his propaganda. People are gullible to any anti christian or anti church story. A pastor won't carry offerings of people to buy hummer ? There must be another source of money. This is common sense. |

The God of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ help us in these days. The bible said it all my brethren. I strongly advice every serious christion to study the book of revelation. This is the only book authored by Jesus himself and written by John. This is also the book that the devil dont want the christians to read because Revelation is what will take place after the church age that we are right now, that why we see churches spring up like crazy. The greedy wolves in sheep's clothing will quote 2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, but for your sakes He became poor in order that you, because of His poverty, might become brich. Note: Even though Christ was rich but for our sake He became poor. The gospel truth here is, the church of God is now paraded with leaders,pastors, bishops, reverends, evangelists, apostles etc (I dont care their fame,title or achievements) who are blessed just as any other Christian would have been blessed, but they cannot deny themselves of that riches or prosperity and become poor just like Christ to feed the poor in their church or community but would rather use these riches to buy private jets that cost billions of naira, they establish higher institutions or university that even the tithe payers or poor in their ministry cannot afford to pay for tuition. In the United States, there are people who are neither pastors nor church leaders, even young people who are committed to feeding the poor. How does a pastor claim he was sent to the poor all in the mask of prosperity message and take church money donated by the same poor he was sent to and use to acquire private jets while poor exist in their community. Besides, I hope to start Bible study on Nairaland someday. Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy that study to show yourself approved unto God, Christians, we need to study the truth. Finally, 1 Timothy 4 vs 1-3: v1: But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons v2: By means of the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, of men who are branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron, v3: Who forbid marriage and command abstaining from foods, which God has created to be partaken of with thanksgiving by those who believe and have full knowledge of the truth. |

i wonder when we nigerians will start to think straight devoid of emotions, seyi rhodes is an outsider who simply did an unbiased article exactly as he saw it.why we are disappointed is because we are not used to this style of reporting/journalism in africa. 1.he said it to the man's face that he did not witness any miracle nor prophecy, i didn't throughout the programme as well,the man could have easily performed a miracle or prophecised concerning the seyi rhodes to disprove him. 2.he said the man was effectively like the head/ceo of a company marketing his products,well poster the links you have posted has validated that point, the pics are straight out of GQ the poster sleeves e.t.c 3.from what i saw of the video,the poor were giving out of their meagre resources,i don't see the church announcing that people should wait behind for refreshments or some welfare scheme its all about take take take pastor riding in hummer,range and majority of the congregation trekking(yellow is my favourite colour) 4.the worst is that when the guy confronted him he had a perfect opportunity not only to defend himself in the eyes of the international community but to defend other MOGs but he could not even put up a convincing and coherent defence |

9jafreak:these men you have mentioned are miles different from the sign freeman. for one they are conservative in outlook,and also apart from their peculiar ministries by their age and moral standing there are some stuffs you won't find them doing, last 4 months i saw dr kumuyi in victoria train station and he was carrying his own bag the only person with him was an assistant and he just stood in a corner if this man sign freeman came to uk i can bet you it will be with an entourage. i have no problems if an MOG declares that for instance his own teachings will be on financial freedom or marriage or youth empowerment e.t.c i believe these are issues that need to be addressed for a level playing field for christians in their day to day. we recently heard of sanusi dragging nigeria into an islamic bank ing organisation,they certainly are not looking for christians as members so we should empower ourselves as well what i have a problem with is when a MOG twists the bible in such a way that 1.he can not be questioned or you will incur the wrath of GOD 2.it is the duty of a christian to donate,sow seeds incessantly when its supposed to be the other way round |

You are clutching at straws here, and it shows. For the record, the article in question would be found alongside fashionista-photographs on his facebook page (thanks to Fireman, we now know Jesus wore designer gear too!!!) But then, what do we (discerning minds) really make of it? (1) That a man who was born in Nigeria sometime in the 60s (let's say 64/65) was running his first company by 1977 (at the age of 12?) - Cast your mind back to the realities of that era if you can, to see how plausible this sounds. (2) That the founder of Coker was his maternal grandfather's boy means Fireman himself was predestined to come into great fortune? - Notice the play on words here. - For all we know this "grandfather's boy" has absolutely no connection to Fireman himself, but was introduced much like MC Hammer (later on), as we are wont to do in Nigerianspeak, in order to demonstrate how 'well connected' he is. (3) That Fireman's father ran a gold business in Russia well while practising as a medical doctor? - Was he a medical doctor in Nigeria while running this transatlantic business empire? - Was he a medical doctor in Russia? - Again, you would have to look back at the pre-internet age (in Nigeria) to see how incredulous this sounds.
