Car Talk / Re: My Bad Experience With Autologic by NigerianMan: 6:42pm On May 06, 2020
This is too bad.

Some Mechanics will not make heaven, it's not a curse.

obamma:
Severely abused car indeed.

Since the correction of the fuel pipe by my original mechanic, everything has been running well, till yesterday I discovered the oil leakage from engine cover area.and you were last to touch it.

If anyone has severely abused my car , it is you.

I am bitter because in this hard times , I have been spending money to replace or correct what you did wrong.

Now I will spend another 22k to more to buy Mobil 1 again.

If my car is severely abused, do you think I will be buying 22k Mobil 1 oil where there are cheap 4k oil everywhere.

I don't allow anyhow mechanic touch my car.

As a matter of fact I have been using only one mechanic since I bought this car 4 years back.

I only tried you because I was away outside the country and when I returned my mechanic was fully booked and so I searched here and saw you.

The problem with you is you outsource someone's car to numerous mechanics in your mechanic yard.

And all of them will be doing different different things without coordination and hence errors everywhere.

NGO jobs pay well but they come with risks and uncertainties. I have a friend who is working with an international NGO in Borno state earning almost 400k monthly.

400k in Borno? Your friend must be an assistant/ Officer II

Npower:

Most NGOs have a budget for the stipend of their volunteers, hence, don't just accept volunteers anyhow. There should be something you want to offer as a volunteer and not just to come get the experience.
I was good with computers, so I volunteered to work as a data entry assistant in a state level NGO, while on it, I put eyes in other program areas like M&E, Proposal writing, and guess what, within 6 months, I was made an M&E Officer for one big project like that.
With that experience, I applied for a job in a bigger NGO and got it. From there, I have worked with other bigger international and indigiounous NGOs.
Today, my salary is unimaginable and most of my friends envy me but I have tried to link them to volunteer but after a month or less, they will drop because of the little stipend they get.
They want to earn like me but they don't want to start like me

You nailed it.

I started as a corp member. I remember my friends mocked me then that I would work round the clock and been paid stipend while they all served in big companies and organizations. During my NYSC, I gained a lot of experience in my department. though it was a local NGO.

After my NYSC, the ED retained me (All my friends went back to their different states cos they were not retained). I spent some months with the local NGO which I later got an offer with another NGO which pay 4 times what I was collecting. Presently I'm working for an international NGO with a mouth-watering offer that I can't even tell anybody.

People don't really want to start little, they want it big.

Sports / I Never Said "He'd Be Ready" Odion Ighalo May Play Against Chelsea - Solksjaer by NigerianMan: 10:40am On Feb 17, 2020
I never Said he (Odion Ighalo) was going to be ready to play on Monday, he'll be involved with us and he will travel down with us.
Now he is out of that two weeks period, Its just a precaution we made so he'll travel with us and let's see if he's involved or not. But he's been working really hard.
I think he is probably pinching himself at times because he is now at his favourite club at the age of 30, but he's earned that one and hopefully he'll impress us so we can see him play - OLE GUNNAR SOLKSJAER
