but that’s not easily accessible in most countries now because of covid... na education most people dey use...and 1million can not runs education visa

Thank you for sharing your thoughts sir.

Could you please suggest any country he could try?

My cousin-brother is in his early 30s and has managed to raise one million naira. Actually he raised 500k by himself through savings while the whole family raised the remaining 500k to make it a total of one million naira.

He is single and has basic computer skills. He is not a graduate though.

Now, the challenge is this:
Which country can he travel to (outside Africa) with that one million naira budget?

PEOPLE & POLITICS

Why North is imploding
February 9, 2022

By Ochereome Nnanna

SOMETHING extraordinary is happening in Northern Nigeria, alias Arewa. The sons of the poor are up in arms. In cahoots with foreigners from far and near, they are killing their own kinsmen, women and children.

They are kidnapping them for multimillion naira ransoms, destroying their own communities and driving away the elite to Abuja. The poor are fleeing in droves to the South.

The evil seeds sown over the past 218 years by the founders of Sokoto Caliphate, the most backward Islamic system in the world, have grown and are bearing fruits in multiple folds. Muammar Gaddafi’s Libya, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and a host of other Mid-Eastern peaceful and prosperous countries are also rooted in the Islamic culture.

Arewa and the wider Nigeria society it controls are fractured because of the unwholesome exploitation of Islam by founders of Sokoto Caliphate. It is a system that keeps the elite in snug opulence without any regard for the grassroots.

It is highly oppressive, wicked and bloody. It operates by divide and rule. It is an enterprise rooted on fraud and corruption; a pirate system which is incapable of building an inclusive, prosperous country.

Meaningful development has stalled all over Nigeria because we surrendered our birthrights to the political buccaneers of the Caliphate. We are all drowning in the rot foisted upon us by this evil system. Those of us who complain are called names.

What is happening in the North is a revolt of the oppressed grassroots against the system. In the North West, the Fulani herdsmen, who have been downtrodden by their own powerful and affluent kinsmen, have also taken up arms.

They are killing everything in sight and abducting those they can lay their hands on for ransom. They are rustling cattle and creating little empires of their own in the ungoverned spaces of the Sahelian wilderness.

They will soon start setting up political territories. Take it to the bank: The Bandit Terrorists will soon adopt a political agenda and position themselves for an Islamic theocracy to upstage the Sokoto Caliphate. Indeed, that was what Sheikh Ahmad Gumi tried to persuade them to do.

The Bandit Terrorists are mainly Fulani nomadic herdsmen who were kept in the bushes to rear livestock for their affluent and powerful kinsmen who call the shots in the government houses and bureaucracies, emir’s palaces and mosques. For over two centuries, their own powerful kinsmen kept them marginalised, feeding fat from their nomadism.

While the “home” Fulani freeloaded off the milk and honey of Nigeria, sending their pampered children to the best schools in the world, the “bush” Fulani had no access to modern education, health, other basic amenities. They lived with their livestock among wild animals. The world passed them by.

Meanwhile, the forests in which they grazed their animals were rapidly being converted to farms and housing/industrial projects by the owners and governments. For instance, those who used to graze their animals in today’s Abuja have nowhere to go.

Unlike the more progressive Igbo, Yoruba and other tribes which embraced education and created free escape routes from poverty for their grassroots, the Fulani elite, in their blind selfishness, kept their own cousins hidden in the bushes. Only Professor Jibril Aminu, as an education minister, lobbied General Ibrahim Babangida of the need for “nomadic education”.

It was a carbon copy of Muhammadu Buhari’s “Ruga”. Aminu’s “nomadic education” did not raise much eyebrow because it was not presented like “Ruga”, a land-grabbing ploy, as it was perceived, especially in the South. The scheme, however, collapsed shortly after Babangida left power.

Many of the nomads were already turning to crime, mainly cattle-rustling, when some desperate Fulani political leaders plotted to use them to force their way back to power after Buhari lost the 2011 election.

The story of how local and foreign Fulani were assembled in the bushes of Zamfara and Niger, armed and trained to come out and fight if Buhari lost the 2015 election, is in the public arena. No one has refuted it till date. They were promised land all over Nigeria. When the politicians were not forthcoming, the attacks started.

Buhari spent the best of the past six and half years trying to force indigenous landowners to give up their ancestral patrimonies for the settlement of nomads. The moves came in several forms: “Ruga”, “Cattle Colonies”, “Grazing Reserves”, “Grazing Routes”, National Livestock Transformation Plan, “Water Resources Bill”, and others.

Meanwhile, armed herdsmen conducted waves of attacks on farmers and indigenous communities with law enforcement and security agencies doing little to stop them. Indeed, individuals and communities which tried to defend themselves were harassed and arrested.

The Federal Government even sent the military to the South East to hunt down people suspected to be members of the Eastern Security Network, ESN, which was established by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, to defend their people against armed Fulani herdsmen invaders.

These were desperate measures taken by the ruling Fulani elite under Buhari to force indigenous Nigerians to pay for the Fulani neglect of their own grassroots. But, of course, it has not worked; will never work.

It has only led to unrequited bloodshed and the needless stigmatisation of an ethnic group that many Nigerians used to admire for their beauty, exotic culture and deft political and administrative acumens.

Now that the North West bandits have been declared as terrorists like Boko Haram, we must bring them to heel. After that, nomadism should be outlawed and nomads brought into the civilised population to live under the law as normal humans and citizens.

The foolish attempts to seize lands from indigenous people for allocation to the nomads must continue to be resisted till they drop it. The dog cannot eat excrement while the goat suffers rotten mouth!

Fake News, Mischievous Blackmail Cannot Make Ekweremadu Governor Of Enugu State

AIF Media

There is this ugly trend where cronies of Ekweremadu mischievously peddle fake news on social media in a failed attempt to mislead Ndi Enugu and the general public, for the selfless and unpopular political ambition of their pay master, in 2023.

The latest of these shenanigans was the false publication on social media alleging that Gov. Ugwuanyi was planning to defect to APC.

They equally alleged that the governor in a spurious statement said that if the wishes of Ndi Enugu as he was seeing was Ekweremadu, that he had no option than to support him.

These are false and baseless claims being peddled by the camp of Ekweremadu to deceive the public.

They have tried similar outdated campaign of calumny against the governor, on several occasions in recent times, but failed woefully because Ndi Enugu know their ulterior motive, and always identify with the truth.

From our investigations, the above stories are fake news as Gov. Ugwuanyi has no plan to leave PDP, the party he has laboured tirelessly to build and reform, both at the state and national levels.

He is one of the PDP Governors who believe in the ideology of the party and had in many occasions worked closely with his colleagues in building and rescuing the party in the overall interest of Nigerians.

Ugwuanyi is a man of peace and an apostle of equitable zoning.

We are optimistic, likewise Ndi Enugu, that in 2023, he will support a successor whose emergence will follow the trend established and maintained since 1999 between the three senatorial zones, which favours Enugu East Senatorial District to produce the next governor of the state.

The wishes of Ndi Enugu is respect for zoning and Gov Ugwuanyi will surely adhere to it.

THE MUDSLINGING BUSINESS OF CHIJIOKE EDEOGA AND REUBEN ONYISHI

BY ANTHONY NNAJI

It is certainly not wide of the mark to state that the advent of social media, facilitated by the proliferation of GSM, has simplified mass communication, the storage and retrieval of information. Everyone's GSM phone is now a mobile archive. Touch a button, it rolls out whatever you need and nails down, showing you the literary "modus operandi" or, simply put, the pattern or style of writing and diction of regular social media charlatans, the likes of Reuben Onyishi, alias, Ugoachataberu and Chijioke Edeoga. This pseudo-intellectuals believe that the surest route to get Chijioke Edeoga to Lion Building in 2023 is through mudslinging. They hide behind their fingers, writing under different pen names in the suicidal business of casting aspersions on innocent people. Reuben Onyishi churns out infinite deal of nonsensical effusions, throwing mud at anybody he percieves as having strong interest in the 2023 governorship race in Enugu state, missing his marks and soiling his hands always. Guided and goaded by Chijioke Edeoga, he regularly throws mud at Distinguished Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa, Rt. Hon. Edward Ubosi, Chief Evarest Nnaji, Peter Mba, each and everyone of whom has made success of their respective careers, and has whatever it takes, much more than Chijioke Edeoga, to clinch the governorship slot of Enugu state in 2023.

In his recent paediatric outburst, Reuben Onyishi, writing with a pseudonym, Eze Davies, wrote that Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa attended Ekweremadu's wife's birthday celebration to plead that Ekweremadu accept him (Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa) as his deputy in 2023 guber election. In the same article, he also abused Rt. Hon. Edward Ubosi, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, as one who is also struggling for the deputy governorship slot. He concluded by stating that the duo have sold out to Ike Ekweremadu and betrayed the Enugu East Zonal interest in the 2023 governorship struggle.

Certainly, neither Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa, a nationally acclaimed bureaucrat and philanthropist per excellence nor the urbane, politically sophisticated but reticent Speaker Edward Ubosi would be inclined to respond to the lunacy of Reuben Onyishi and his sponsor, Chijioke Edeoga. However, some of us, call us political bystanders, would no longer stand by and watch the Shenanigans of Chijioke Edeoga and his misguided social media mercenaries continue with their unwarranted declaration of war on Nkanu political leaders.

For the records, Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa is a decent man whose sojourn in public office has brought him close to people of all strata in the society: the mighty, the high, the low, even the "hoi polloi". The elegant and brilliant Dr (Mrs) Nwanneka Ekweremadu, Ike Ekweremadu's wife was Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa's junior colleague in the office of the Accountant General of the Federation in Abuja. While Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa was in active service, she looked up to him for guidance because of the cordial relationship they had. Besides, Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa was the Accountant General of Enugu state at the same time that Ike Ekweremadu was, first, Chief of Staff to Governor Chimaroke Nnamani and latter, Secretary to State Government, SSG. When Ekweremadu headed to Abuja as a Senator, Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa also was in Abuja as a Super Permanent Secretary. They shared several years of cordial relationship. Apparently as 2023 approaches they may find themselves in different camps. But Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa has never been known to pursue any interest with bitterness and this is why his friendship with Ike Ekweremadu have remained warm and, hopefully, shall remain so after 2023. Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa is also known to have cordial relationship with some other guber contenders such as Chief Peter Mba and Chief Evarest Nnaji, Odegene, Speaker Edward Ubosi and a host of others.

To, therefore, insinuate that Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa, a frontrunner in the 2023 Enugu guber race, with his sterling credentials and stupendous war-chest is looking for the post of Deputy governor is utterly preposterous and stands not within the prospect of reasonable belief.

Across the state, people are happy with the kind of relationship that exist between the key governorship contenders, a level of cordiality which is *sine qua non* to decent democratic contest as we move towards 2023. This is what His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has been preaching. But Chijioke Edeoga and his hireling, Reuben Onyishi, holed up in their primitive political savagery, are beating the drums of intercine political war, raising false alarm in the social media in futile effort to incite friends against one another.

Needless to re-emphasize that Isi Uzo people have legitimate claim to aspire to govern Enugu state, being an intergral part of Enugu East Senatorial District to which the 2023 guber slot is zoned. But it is akin to passing the camel through the eye of a needle to achieve this with a cruel and sadistic candidate like Chijioke Edeoga who has obtuse hatred for anybody who excels in his chosen career. Intellectually, Chijioke Edeoga is sick and petty, hatred for fellow humans runs deep in his DNA. He has a sickening hatred for governor Ugwuanyi through whose grace he has been a Commissioner in Enugu state for the past 6 years. He thinks we do not know. He runs down governor Ugwuanyi at the slightest opportunity. We have him on tape, telling some of his friends that governor Ugwuanyi is a coward who does not have the liver to hand over to him as an Isi uzo man.

It is better for Isi uzo people to look for a more credible and capable candidate who can match other candidates from Nkanuland for the decisive discussion to determine where the pendulum swings to as the zone inches towards 2023.

Chijioke Edeoga does not have the muscle to muster the resources needed for the battle ahead. In the preparation for the Enugu East Zonal Rally on 17/06/21, gubernatorial hopefuls from the zone donated various sums, ranging from #20 million, #10 million, #5 million and #3 million. What did Chijioke Edeoga, the man leading the Isi uzo first eleven donate? #250,000! The other day in a Catholic Church Fund Raising event in Nike, four guber hopefuls, including Chijioke Edeoga, were in attendance and donated #1.5m, #1m, #.5m while Chijioke Edeoga donated #50,000. Haba! O bu ukwu a ka ya bu Chijioke Edeoga bu Nama ga-eji je Aba? He wants to be governor without a dime in his pocket. He thinks the Isi uzo puerile marginalisation mentality/argument would give him guber nomination and, then, he would begin to gamble with godfather financiers to raise the humungous fund for the prosecution of the election. He lives in the discarded old testament of politics. We are in the new testament where the next governor of Enugu state, metaphorically speaking, must be somebody who, verifiably, would have been feeding himself and further, has had the capacity to feed, and, in fact, has fed, others. In this league are the likes of Chief Evarest Nnaji, Odegene, Chief Peter Mba, Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa, Rt. Hon. Edward Ubosi, and a host of others in Enugu East Zone whose huge political war-chest is not in doubt.

Recall that before Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi became governor, he had the capacity to feed himself and, in fact, fed several others. The numerous mouths he fed named him, *Gburu gburu*. The financial muscle he had before 2015 enabled him to bear the bill of his guber election without mortgaging the future finances of the state. Today, he deploys the state resources in meeting the critical needs of the state without plundering our resources or settling godfathers.

Chijioke Edeoga and Reuben Onyishi should understand that mudslinging or throwing stones from a glass house is a paediatric strategy towards the very serious business of who occupies the Lion Building in the post Ugwuanyi era. It is a boomerang.

Arrangee Visits/ Fake Endorsements: Sharing Of Commission Tears Ekweremadu's Inner Caucus Members Apart
....Aggreived Member Threatens To Speak Out

By Kingsley Uwagbue

As the former Deputy Senate President and Senator representing Enugu West Senatorial zone, Senator Ike Ekweremadu intensifies his desperate bid to contest Enugu 2023 Governorship seat against the traditional zoning of the seat in the state that favours Enugu East Senatorial zone to produce the next Governor, crisis of confidence and distrust is tearing members of Ekweremadu's inner caucus apart over sharing of commission they usually get from arrangee courtesy visits/ endorsements for different groups that visit Ekweremadu.

A member of Ekweremadu's inner caucus who was shortchanged in the sharing of the commission, who pleaded anonymity disclosed that they are the ones arranging the visits and endorsements to Ekweremadu with the understanding that they will be given 30 percent of whatever Ekweremadu gives to them during the visits.

"We arranged the series of visits and endorsements to our principal behind the scene with the understanding of getting 30 percent of whatever money that is given to any group that visits by our principal, Ekweremadu.

"As we get the Commission we share among the few of us that are privy to this secret arrangements by the close of work. Recently one of us who felt he is too important and very close to our boss cut my own share from one of the commissions half because I didn't come to work the day one of the groups we have arranged visited, eventhough I took permission from our boss. I have repeatedly asked to be given my due share but he refused."

"If I wait for him again without any response, I will expose him before the public and our boss. The man is very greedy. Why should he cut my money when we are all in agreement on the sharing formula before we kickstarted arranging of the visits for endorsements to our boss. I brought the idea. It is my personal Initiative. I deserve lion share of the commissions," the member fumed.

I found this heartbreaking post on one Bro. Can Mbanefo's wall on Facebook.

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=4909874832391867&id=100001081974124&m_entstream_source=feed_mobile

Please read it below and give me your opinion.

JEHOVAH WITNESS KILLED OGE WITH THEIR BRAINWASHING DOCTRINE & TEACHINGS.

We lost Ogechukwu Ochiagha yesterday. She will be buried tomorrow.

First of all, I wish to thank all that sent money to Oge when she was in the hospital. the God you serve will bless you all without looking back and May you never be stranded in life. Amen.
About six months ago, when Oge's sickness was not as bad as it was lately, a Catholic community based in Italy got to know about her sickness and decided to assist.
They raise a huge amount of money which could have handled her situation then.
But when they contacted Oge to send her account details. Oge told them it was against her Jehovah witness faith to collect money from Catholic Church. Both the priest and the members of the church were so disappointed. And the money was used for other sick people.
After I made an appeal fund post about her on my wall, a member from the same Catholic Community called me from Italy and told me their ugly experience with Oge. But told me they were still willing to assist if she has changed her mind.
I called Oge and she confirmed that truly she rejected their offer. I did my best to convince her to accept the offer from Italy.
To cut the long story short, when one of the guys from Italy called her again, she still rejected the offer from the Catholic community.
She then told the brother that he can send his personal money to her instead of sending the donation from the church. Eventually, out of pity and for the sake of humanity, the brother sent something to her from his personal account.
Meanwhile, it was Oge who chatted me and asked if I could link her up with any NGO.
But when NGO came, her Jehovah witness teachings could not allow her notice them.
When I attack some church leaders, people think I don't go to church. This is one of the reasons I attack them. How can you brainwash your members with lies for your selfish interest and at the detriment of their health?
Dear Oge, I am not blaming you. I blame those that laid such foundation for you. Because if I got the same foundation, I could have acted the same way or even worse than yours.
You had always been a strong woman and you fought gallantly against this sickness. But I guess the time was up.
May your lovely soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
Bro Can still loves you.

My Disappointment Over Ekweremadu's Answers On Dream FM Political Voices

By Chisom Mmadukwe

It was tagged special interview programme on Political Voices by the anchor on Dream FM Enugu . It was widely advertised by the radio station that former Deputy Senate President and senator representing Enugu West Senatorial zone, Senator Ike Ekweremadu will be a special guest on their station's programme called political voices on January 8, 2022.

I eagerly waited for the programme. I looked forward for it, with hope that Ekweremadu will boldly, atruistically and sincerely address all the questions that will be thrown to him, especially the issue of zoning at the national level and Enugu State in particular and his political move ahead of 2023.

I was of the belief that the way Ekweremadu will address the two critical issues during the programme will douse tension, correct some erroneous impressions about zoning in the state and say a lot about his personality and his sincerity.

Unfortunately while the programme lasted, Ekweremadu was evasive and played to the gallery. He had a field day, blowing his trumpet as expected of him. Immediately Ekweremadu was asked about his view on the issue of zoning at the state and national levels, Ekweremadu changed his tone. He said: "Zoning is a contentious issue, which I wouldn't want to delve into. The most important thing is that Nigerians want a good leader that will lead well, provide them with basic infrastructure and security. This also applies in the state." When asked about his next political move ahead of 2023, Ekweremadu said that he told his people in 2019 that he will not be going back to Senate after 2023. He further said that there have been calls for him to contest for governorship seat, stressing that he is consulting.

At this point, I became disappointed with Ekweremadu's poor and parried responses to such critical questions. What a disappointing, prevaricating and shocking responses on such germane and critical issues by the man, Ekweremadu, who is a longstanding political player and greatest beneficiary of the political system at all levels since 1999 till date.

Does it mean that Ekweremadu is not man enough to tell Nigerians, especially Ndi Enugu whether there was a discussion or agreement on zoning of governorship seat in the state or not before now. Why didn't Ekweremadu say categorically in the programme whether zoning was ever discussed and agreed by major stakeholders in Enugu of which he is one of them? Why is Ekweremadu, a three time Deputy Senate President and chairman National Assembly Committee on Constitutional Amendment afraid of discussing or airing his views on the issue of zoning of governorship seat in his state and presidency at the national level?

This is even when some of his political contemporaries in the state had openly stated that there is zoning in the state that favours Enugu East Senatorial zone to produce Governor in 2023. Why is Ekweremadu being smart by half and parrying such salient questions of national importance in a live radio programme? Is it not obvious now that Ekweremadu is not a sincere, selfless and patriotic politician as being presented by his social media warriors?

But why should one be worried or surprised with Ekweremadu's double standing, which has been his political stock in trade since venturing into politics. It may have worked for him for years, but may not work for him again in 2023 because people have known him and his tricks better now. For Ekweremadu's social-media bandits that have been inundating and bombarding social media platforms with Ike Is Coming slogan, now that Ekweremadu has said he is consulting, what would they do?

I know that Ekweremadu's overzealous social media e-rats would be disappointed too with his response on 2023 ambition, which is now at variance with what he has been telling them in secret before now.

Hearing from the horse's mouth, Ekweremadu said on the live radio programme that he is consulting ahead of 2023. Does it mean he is not coming again as being postulated by his praise singers? It is possible that as Ekweremadu consults, when it dawns on him that odds are against him, he will have no option than to quit and abandon his bootlickers as usual.

In the camp of the Dissident, the Center Cannot Hold

By Reuben Onyishi (Ugoachataberu)

It was W. B. Yeats who in his poem, 'The Second Coming,' wrote, "Things fall apart; the center cannot hold,' from which Achebe took the title of his classic novel, _Things Fall Apart_ . Yeat's is a case of the poet as a prophet or, if you like, a case of nature imitating poetry. In our clime, someone in his bid to upstage the tradition has been brought to the reality of the poetic prophecies of Yeats. Unnatural deeds breed unnatural troubles. With the dissident, the centre cannot hold. The political land on which they stand has caved in. No one who sets about to swim against the tide can survive the force of natural resistance to the disorder they sought to wrought for selfish interest.

Senator Ike Ekweremadu was well-respected in the political circles. Although the Nuremberg drama seemed a loss of feathers on his political cap, he had seemed to have regained it all before he had yet to fritter his goodwill in the laps of rebellion against the zoning tradition of the governorship seat of Enugu State. Ike seems to be driven by the ember of discord being fanned by some political jobbers egging him on to political infamy in the name of praises. These political jobbers under his pay, whose proboscis are sharpened to penetrate into the innermost recesses of his purse have suckled and sapped the milk of his teat flabby and spent. Ike's orgasmic orgy towards the governorship seat by its inordinate inclination has found no natural essence for its coitus and so has found expression in political masturbation. This is moreso as his once swollen camp is being depleted and deserted.

A tree that would be swirled away by the cyclone never sees it form in the horizon. Otherwise, Ike should have known that Binam wood has come to Dusinane and Macduff has asked that the charm be despaired and the angel served be told he was from his mother's womb untimely reaped. The time is come when Ike would curse the tongues that praised him to the political precipice, that kept the words of hope and promises to his ears at the expense of his purse and then broke them to his hopes. Except that when gripped by the infernal hand of over-ambition men lose their senses to it, what else remains for him to see before he sheaths his blunt sword into its scabbard and submit it this time not in the garb of a fox or an ostrich but in prodigal submission to the good father of Enugu politics,Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi? He that did not hear the din of Okpoko, did the elephant stamp on his eardrums?

Before now, Hon.Chima Obieze representing Ezeagu Constituency who was a strong ally of Ekweremadu pulled off his political legs from the murky pool he had swarm with Ekweremadu and purged himself of the mud thereof by genuflecting in obeisance to the natural order of things Ugwuanyi is minded to preserve and announced that he stood for zoning and it was the turn of Enugu East Senatorial Zone to produce the next governor of the state. ( See my essay on Things Fall Apart in the Camp of the Dissident).

Besides Obieze, the stakeholders of Enugu West Senatorial Zone had washed their hands off the Pilate water by standing with His Excellency in line with his righteous stand on zoning. It was no wonder they distanced themselves from the foxy allegiance Ike had pledged to His Excellency. At that fictive show of prodigal repentance, the major stakeholders of the zone were absent and Ike was left in the lurch as he journeyed like a masquerade without followers. It was only a few of the national assembly members who did not know the glory had departed who had stuck to him as bees to honeycomb. Perhaps they will soon find the rug has been pulled off their feet and now seek political repentance with penitent hearts in the process of time.

For the camp of Ike Ekweremadu, not only that things have fallen apart, it is no longer at ease, for the centre cannot hold. The arrow of anarchy he had hoped to shoot at the state has rebounded . It is now a case of back to sender. Is it not yet clear to Ekweremadu he has been politically retired? We had when the water had not come up to his neck asked him to kiss the sceptre of statesmanship extended to him, but he was seduced by jobbers, the prospects of the aura and glory of the office.

The people of Awgu would not be left out at the centre of the anarchy their forester son has created. They have looked left and right and have found that if they waited any more, the tidal political wave would engulf them and so have got to show their stand before His Excellency in whose hand is the sceptre and on whose head the crown rests, the one who firmly holds the yam and the knife. So, the real people of Awgu, their stakeholders, who is who in Awgu, rose and pledged their allegiance to the People's Governor of Enugu State and like the biblical Ruth to Naomi told the governor that Awgu would stand by him as he leads Enugu State to the choice of his successor in 2023. In a communique signed by the chairman of Awgu Local Government, Hon. Pedro Nwankwo, the two members of Enugu State House of Assembly from Awgu, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh and Hon. Today, Awgu has spoken ad the rest is history.

Ekweremadu is an elder in Enugu State politics and should not be involved with such shenanigans bordering on childish desperation to become governor by all means. He should not continue to allow the political jobbers he had disowned previously to continue to drag his name in the mud any more. Now is the time to beat a retreat and realize that he had all this while been swimming in the ocean of impossibility. The governorship seat of Enugu State is incontrovertibly and unstoppably zoned to Enugu East Senatorial Zone and whoever rises against that does themselves more harm than good. Senator Ekweremadu can still recover himself, his goodwill and respect before the people of Enugu State, by turning a new leaf. Sound pot can return to the stream though its water is spilled.

Politics / Nigerian Army Lied About Operation In Nkanu-East Enugu - Intersociety by nigerianrevolut(f): 8:58pm On Dec 29, 2021
How Nigerian Army Disrupted Christmas Eve Church Services And Movements At Egudene-Nkanu, Killed Two And Arrested A 40 Year-Old Mason And Labeled Him “ESN Commander”

Intersociety, Eastern Nigeria, Wednesday, 29th Dec 2021

Contrary to a statement issued on Monday, 27th December 2021 in Enugu by the Nigerian Army through its Director of Public Relations, Brig General Onyema Nwachukwu and widely published in various print and electronic media; the claims by the Army that “it arrested a wanted notorious ESN Commander in Enugu State” is thousands of miles away from what actually transpired in Egudene-Ekpofu in Nkanu East of Enugu State where the Nigerian Army claimed to have conducted its “clearance” operation. As a matter of fact, the Nigerian Army cooked up the statement to cover backlash and outcries arising from its murderous operation of the Night of 24th/25th December 2021 at the Egudene-Ekpofu; a third murderous operation and invasion in the row since the start of 2021. Contrarily, findings made by Intersociety regarding the Army’s murderous operation are factually and irrefutably in contrast with the Nigerian Army claims which are shocking, vexatious, fallacious, watery, irritating, annoying, hateful, clannish and crude. In other words, contrary to the Army’s claims, there was no “clearance operations at a camp suspected to be the fortress of ESN at Akpowfu Forest n Nkanu East during which troops engaged the dissidents in a fire fight compelling them to take to their heels, leading to the arrest of their leader, from whom the troops recovered one AK-47 rifle, one magazine containing 21 rounds of 7.62mm special bullets and one telephone handset from Nnamdi”.

Rather, and according to Intersociety’s detailed investigative findings, the soldiers of the Nigerian Army had between forbidden hours of 24th and 25th Night of December 2021 invaded Egudene-Ekpofu in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State and raided popular squares and quarters and several family houses during which Christmas Eve Church services and inter and inter communal movements were disrupted, forcing several citizens of the Community to flee their homes into the forests or across their neighboring friendly villages. The soldiers had also during the sinister operation attacked and raided houses and destroyed properties including doors, windows, electronics, etc; disrupted sleep, assaulted married and unmarried women and woke children from their sleep and traumatized them.

The soldiers of the Nigerian Army under Enugu 82 Division also killed two defenseless citizens including a 13-year old boy (Master Arum from Ohuakpaka Quarters) who was shot and killed when his parents’ bedroom and its doors were broken into and as he was running helplessly for his dear life, the soldiers opened fire on him at close range and killed him instantly. The soldiers also shot and killed a yet-to-be middle-age man whose corpse was dumped at Obodo Nnemede Nwannaji near Onokolo Ode in the Community. As if the above dastardly acts were not enough, the soldiers also sighted a palm wine tapper on a palm tree and opened fire and fatally wounded him. He is presently admitted at the Enugu Specialist Hospital. Not done, the soldiers accosted another up-wine (palm) tapper and dispossessed him of his 5 gallons of up-wine valued at N25, 000. His name is Citizen Chigozie Obushi.

Through the use of threatened and terrified locals as “informants” who were forced to show them the dwelling houses of the Community’s young men of productive age bracket (20-50 years), the soldiers attacked and invaded several houses that same late night of 24th/25th December 2021 and abducted scores from their sleep. Also not spared were the late night Christmas returnees and those returning from Christmas Eve Church services as well as those attending Christmas morning Church services. The Army’s killer operation had commenced close to midnight of Christmas Even or 24th December 2021 and lasted till the morning of Christmas being 25th December 2021. It must be recalled that the Nigerian Army had in one of its two previous operations in the outgoing year in Egudene-Ekpofu-Nkanu Community forced a meeting between the elders and leaders of the Community and troops’ leaders at the Community’s popular market square during which the Army mandated the Community (Ekpofu) to compile the list of all the youths in the Community and hand same over to them (Army), failing which the Army would invade the Community constantly and treat all its youths as “ESN Members”. The Nigerian Army’s grouse against the Community and its neighbors followed the March 2020 dislodgement of Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen from the Be Atunshi big Forest from where the Jihadists abduct and rape their non-menopausal women and kill others, chase them out of their farmlands and occupy them.

The True Identity Of A 40 Year-Old Mason Labeled “ESN Commander”

By a detailed investigation carried out by the International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law and contrary to the Nigerian Army claims, the so called “ESN Commander”, identified by the Army as “Godwin Nnamdi”, is a 40 Year-Old Mason and struggling father of two children. His true name is Citizen Godwin Nnaji (not Godwin Nnamdi). His other identities are: He is 40 Year-Old born in 1981 and hails from Umuode Ega Kindred of Egudene in Ajame Amaeze Autonomous Community, Ekpofu in Nkanu East, Enugu State. He is unarmed and never used offensive violence. He is a Mason by occupation who struggles to feed himself, his wife and two children. Abducted and falsely labeled Citizen Godwin Nnaji is married to Mrs. Blessing Nnaji (nee Nnaji) from Ogonogo-Eji Ndiagu Akpugo Autonomous Community in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State. He was abducted from his rest and sleep following his sick-rest arising from work related stress and pains. He had taken some pain relief tablets and was sleeping when soldiers stormed his family house at about 12:21am on the Christmas Eve/early morning of 25th December 2021 and abducted him. Presence in the family’s dwelling house during his abduction were his mother-Madam Theresa Nnaji and two of his siblings including his blind younger brother, Onyema Nnaji who was also rough-handled and assaulted. Citizen Godwin Nnaji was fallaciously labeled “ESN Commander” because a bangle with ‘rising sun’ insignia was found on him. The soldiers later took him alongside other abductees to the 82 Division Headquarters in Enugu through Inyaba River into Oruku town and drove to their 82 Division Headquarters through Emene. After his abduction, Citizen Godwin Nnaji was bundled alongside others to Onokolo Market Square in the Community where he was mercilessly beaten and stripped half naked. He has been located to be detained at ‘Galaxy Detention Camp’ of the 82 Division in Enugu and one of his younger brothers who went to see him was denied access by the lady Army officer in charge who said she is under superior instructions not to allow him to be visited or seen by anybody.

Therefore, the claims by the Nigerian Army highlighted above are circumstantially fallacious and trademark of the Nigerian security forces particularly the Nigerian Army with which they have framed, abducted and killed hundreds of defenseless and unarmed citizens of Southeast and South-south Nigeria especially between October 2020 and December 2021. Attached in this investigative statement are photos of Citizen Godwin Nnaji, his mother (Madam Theresa) and blind or visually challenged younger brother (Onyema). Citizen Godwin Nnaji’s mother and blind younger brother were pictured standing in front of their dwelling house entrance door which soldiers smashed during the late night invasion and abduction. As a matter of fact and uttermost immediacy and inexcusability, Citizen Godwin Nnaji must be freed unconditionally; likewise others abducted and being held captive by the soldiers of the 82 Division in Enugu. The Nigerian Army must also let the affected Communities particularly Egudene-Ekpofu be and discontinue all forms of siege and associated brutalization and riotous brigandage in the area.

Soldiers Remotely Holding Brief For Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen

Available indictable statistics have continued to show in the instant case that Nigerian Army is strongly holding brief for Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen in Nkanu East and Nkanu West particularly in Egudene-Ekpofu, Oruku, Amechi Idoodo, Amegunze and other ‘forest zone’ Communities in the area. The travail of the named Communities particularly Egudene-Ekpofu in the hands of the Nigerian Army and other security agencies started in March 2020 when Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen were quietly dislodged and matched out of their joint big Forest called “Be Atunshi Forest”; a big Forest between Amechi Idoodo, Amegunze and Ekpofu Communities. Since then, the Nigerian Army has not allowed the people of the area to rest and have peace. As a matter of fact, soldiers have invaded and attacked the area at least three times since the start of the 2021 following the dislodgment of Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen and in the August 2021 attack, four defenseless citizens of Egudene-Ekpofu were shot dead and scores of others abducted. There have also been strong accusations that Nigerian Army’s several attacks in the area are remotely in revenge and plot to overrun the affected Communities so as to clear grounds for the return of Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen in the area. Local eyewitnesses have strongly alleged encampment of herds of cows and their herders mixed with Jihadist Marauders in Oruku and Amechi Idoodo waiting for the way to be cleared for them to re-enter the big ‘Be Atunshi Forest’. As a matter of fact, we have it on good authority that the marauding Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen have just re-entered the big Be Atunshi Forest 48 hours ago.

Mkpulummiri: The Dangerous Drug Destroying South East Youths.

What is Mkpulummiri?
We have received over 100 messages from our readers in the southeast asking us this question. What is Mkpulummiri?? Mkpulummiri has become a serious issue in the southeast with thousands of Igbo youths addicted to the drug. Mkpulummiri is the Igbo slang name for a very dangerous hard drug called Methamphetamine or Crystal Meth.
It Looks like Ice Block and can be blue in color sometimes. Mkpulummiri is known by experts to be one of the hardest drug addictions to treat.
It is very addictive and affects the central nervous system of whoever takes it. It creates a feeling of massive happiness that is very addictive and makes the taker want to fly.
When the effect wears off, the taker tries to have that feeling again thereby taking it again.

How Can You Know Someone Who Is Addicted?
According to WebMD, these are the signs of someone with serious meth addiction.
Tattered dressing and shabby looks
Always picking at hair or skin
Loss of appetite and weight loss
Moving Eyes about every time
Strange sleeping patterns — staying up for days or even weeks at a time
Always Talking, Nonstop
Borrowing money often, selling possessions, or stealing
Angry outbursts or mood swings
Psychotic behavior, such as paranoia and hallucinations.

What does Mkpulummiri Do To Your Body
High Temperature and possible death.
Unable To Sleep and Violent
The user ages fast and looks sick with lots of pimples.

Therapy and Cure For Mkpulummiri
There is no drug that can cure Mkpulummiri addiction. This is what makes it so dangerous.
The only treatment is Behavioural therapy which we are not sure is available in Nigeria now.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM MKPULUMMIRI!!!!!
There is no quick cure or drug for the addiction and the therapy cure is not readily available in Nigeria.

Politics / Should Africa Be United By Military Force? by nigerianrevolut(f): 10:58am On Oct 27, 2021
A FEW AFRICAN LEADERS NEED TO USE WAR TO UNITE ALL AFRICAN COUNTRIES INTO ONE AFRICA FEDERATION OF NATIONS
Ozodi Osuji

Many Africans wish for a united Africa; some call it United States of Africa (USA); I choose to call it Africa Federation of Nations (AFN).
What this means is uniting all present fifty-four countries in Africa into one country (minus the Arab North African countries).

However, instead of organizing the emergent country as fifty-four united countries, each tribe, aka ethnic group is used to be a federating constituent part.
If you look at the ethnic groups of Africa, less than three hundred of them have more than a million persons each; the rest are a few thousand persons each.

What we can do is make each of the larger tribes a state and then combine the smaller tribes into states; this would amount to additional two hundred states.
Thus, the United States of Africa, aka African Federation of Nations would have about five hundred states.
The central, state and county and town/city governments would be organized like the United States of America. That is, there would be a central federal government, a state government and a county government and town/city government. One central government, five hundred tribe-based states and thousands of counties and towns.
Power would be allocated as in the USA; that is, with the central government conducting foreign affairs and defense of the unified states and states conducting the type of function that American states conduct and counties conducting local government and town/cities conducting city governments.
As in the USA there would be a national legislature, preferably unicameral, one house of assembly (Federation Assembly), elected every five years, each legislator representing equal number of people (say, a million persons). And a president elected every five years. Both legislators and president are to have six terms limit, that is, no more than thirty years in office.
Thus, there would be a unicameral legislature and a president. The president acting like the US president, elected every five years with executive powers, mostly power to enforce legislation made by the legislators.
And a federal judiciary headed by a Supreme Court; the supreme court composed of thirteen justices, one of whom is the chief justice of the federation, elected from thirteen appellate judicial areas that Africa would be divided into (with hundreds of district courts). There would be a supreme court, courts of appeals and district courts. The federal justices serve a maximum of thirty years and retire.
The structure of governance at the center is replicated at the state, county and town levels. That is, there would be a state legislature, a state governor, a state judiciary; a county legislature, a county supervisor and a county court; a town legislature, a town mayor and a town magistrate court.
All elected officials at state, county and town levels, as at the central level serve five years. There will be term limits, six terms or thirty years is the maximum a person can serve at any center of government, federal, state, county and town.
Government officials will be paid no more than teachers are paid; that is, legislators will be paid what local teachers are paid, the president or governor will be paid what principals of secondary schools are paid; judges will be paid what top civil servants, say, permanent secretaries in the ministries, are paid.

THE NEED TO USE MILITARY FORCE TO UNIFY AFRICA

Ideally, African leaders from the current fifty-four countries in Africa would come together and voluntarily give up their present fifty-four countries and restructure Africa into the proposed Africa Federation of Nations, composed of a central government, five hundred states and thousands of counties and towns.

However, given the nature of politics and human desire for power, those already in power in the various African countries would not easily relinquish their powers and agree to the new structure envisioned in this paper.
This leaves us with only one realistic option, to accomplish the goal through military force. A strong leader in, say, Nigeria or Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa or any other large and potentially powerful country can build a sufficiently large military and use it to accomplish the envisaged new African political structure.

If a military strong man, say, a general, no older than age fifty, emerges in Nigeria and conscripts twenty million Nigerians into a new African Military (Army, Navy, Air force, Marines, Coast Guards etc.) he could go on a war path and in ten or more years of continuous and relentless fighting conquer all black Africa and bring about the new Africa Federation of Nations.
To accomplish this heroic task a large military under a universal type of leader, in the mode of Napoleon Bonaparte, even Adolf Hitler, is needed. Such a leader obviously is going to experience loads of opposition from vested interests, foreign and domestic.
The West will do everything in its power to keep Africa from uniting, knowing that a fragmented Africa is a weak Africa.
Domestic powerful persons in Africa would resent losing their power niches and fight to preserve their tuffs.
The proposed strong leaders, therefore, must not chicken out from the task of destroying opposing forces and persons.
It would take the death of several million Africans to accomplish the envisioned goal of having a United Africa; the death of many is a reasonable price to be paid for the goal we all wish, a strong, united Africa.
You do not make omelets without breaking eggs; a universal leader does not get discouraged from his goal by the death and dying of people; the goal, Africa Federation, justifies the means.
See Nicolo Machiavelli, The Prince; Thomas Hobbes, Leviathan; John Locke, Second Treaty on Government; Charles Montesquieu, The Spirit of Laws; and the sentimental Jean Jacques Rousseau, Social Contract.

DISCUSSION

If you have lived long enough, past age fifty-five, you have noticed that men are martial in spirit; they become fully alive at wars. Give men a just war to fight and die for, and they feel that their lives are meaningful. People find meaning at wars.
A war to unify Africa would give Africans meaning for living.
Right now, most African young men are really living meaningless lives; they are living like animals, admiring themselves with the selfies, smart phones that the white man has given to them.
People should not live such idle existence; give them something heroic to do with their lives, fighting and dying for one united Africa would give all Africans, age 18-48, the military ages, something useful to do with their lives; they would live heroic lives, die for Africa.
The resultant generation of Africans would be folks who have warrior spirits, who admire military uniform and like military organization where fearless leaders emerge to rule the men. Human beings are at their finest when they are trained into military formations and used to accomplish heroic goals. It is simply beautiful to watch men march to their death in pursuit of heroic goals, such as the fight to unify and empower the much-degraded Africa.
African heroes would be minted; heroes that would be written about in future African history books, not the present crop of corrupt politicians that currently misgovern Africa.
Ten or more years of continuous fighting would unify Africa and restructure it into the polity pictured about.

Thereafter, all young Africans, upon graduating from university and vocational technical colleges (age twenty-two) are conscripted into the military, trained and serve five years.
This time instead of fighting wars to unite Africa they would be used to construct roads and other infrastructure across Africa; there will be freeways from Cape town to Cairo, from Dar ES Salam to Dakar; freeways crisscrossing from north to south and from East to West. Freeways would be no more than one hundred miles apart from each other. This way all of Africa is connected by motor ways, and by railways, airports, seaports and other infrastructure.
Thirty years of relentless construction of infrastructure across Africa would help to develop Africa.
The economic organization of the emergent Africa would combine the good in capitalism and socialism.
The state pays for all public education through universities and technical colleges; the state provides all people with publicly paid health insurance and provides a few other services but otherwise allow free enterprise to do its job of efficiently allocating goods and services to where they are more productively used.
Let there by billionaires but charge them, say, one third of their annual incomes as taxes, and use the revenue to provide public services.
All citizens must pay progressive taxes, with 33% been the highest tax a person or business should pay annually.
Of course, the other forms of taxes are also levied, such as corporate taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, value added taxes and so on.
The political leaders of the world, as currently constituted, are recruited from anti-social personality types.

The emperors, kings, dukes, earls, marquis, barons of the past were leaders of criminal gangs who used force to take over their kingdoms and imposed their leadership on the people.
The religions of the past and present world are headed by criminal types, too. One should not be sentimental about rulers, secular and sacerdotal; they tend to be sociopaths and psychopaths.
Let us use these criminals to kill and subjugate all Africa into a United Africa.
One does not have illusions regarding politicians and church leaders (see, the priests of the Catholic Church specialize in raping boy children while talking nonsense about their God; Islam’s Mulla’s encourage young folks to go immolate themselves in suicidal bombings while they and their family stay alive).
We do not need to be sentimental about the rulers of this world, they are extreme egotists; let us use these self-admiring and special feeling narcissists to do prosocial work.
As for good people, let them go into the professions where pure intellect and social service actuate people, such as in medicine, engineering, science, teaching and so on.

Most people are followers; a nation with a few political leaders is doing well. A nation seldom produces the type of universal leaders that are needed to unify Africa.
If ten African strong men emerge and use brutal force to unify and develop Africa, as Paul Kagame is doing in little Rwanda, that would be appreciated.
We are asking for supermen not the ordinary men of politics, the thieves that govern most African states.
Yes, on earth people are different; there are universal spirits with the power to transform people in politics just as there are universal spirits that transform people spiritually (as I am doing through my spiritual science…I have no illusions, no one else in the world can do what I am doing).
There are extraordinary technological talents, such as Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and outstanding business leaders such as the billionaires and millionaires that litter the business landscape.
In the world of science there are even fewer geniuses. How many Newton, Thomas Young, John Dalton, James Watt, Charles Darwin, Michael Faraday, James Clark Maxwell, J. J. Thompson, Henri Becquerel, Pierre and Maria Curie, Einstein, Rutherford, Heisenberg, Bohr, Schrodinger, Dirac, Pauli, Meitner, Alexander Flaming, James Watson, Francis Crick, has the world produced?

In eternity, heaven we are all the same and coequal. The earth is not heaven, the earth is the opposite of heaven. The earth is a place we came to seem different from each other. On earth we are born with different talents.
The Jesus story of talents, that a rich man, God, was going on a journey and gave his servants different talents, some more, some less tells us about the nature of human life on earth. Some are born with more abilities than others.
What matters is to accept one’s specific skills set and use it to serve public good. Serve social interests with whatever talent that nature gave to you, and you are doing fine; not all people have your talents, nor do you have the talents that other people have; such is life, cest la vie.

CONCLUSION

Africa is the most misgoverned continent on planet earth. African leaders are mostly thieves who are in government to loot the people’s national wealth but are not in it to serve their people or develop them.
In the world of economics Africans are not seen as relevant players, and are not invited to the table; the rest of the world see Africans as corrupt and unable to govern themselves well.
Give Africans the opportunity to lead their people and they, overnight, become thieves. Therefore, one no longer takes Africans seriously; their facile talk of how they are going to improve Africa is just talk; they do not walk their talk.
At the rate Africans are going, they would never be able to govern Africa and transform Africa to a modern, developed state.
As Professor Patrick Lumumba said, if in twenty-five years Africans have not begun governing themselves right other people would embark on another scramble to go take over Africa and govern it right and relegate Africans to be their slaves in Africa!
Therefore, what Africa now needs are strong men, benevolent dictator type, men like Napoleon Bonaparte, Otto Von Bismarck, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse Tung to use iron fist to corral Africans and use them to develop the continent.

In this paper I visualized what a political structure of a modern Africa would look like. After establishing that political structure and institutions, the emergent powerful leaders of Africa should pass draconian laws that states that if you steal a penny you are tried and sentenced to a prison term of twenty five years; you are sent to the deserts of Sahara and Kalahari and your labor is used to plant trees and irrigate those arid parts of Africa; there is no use keeping criminals alive, feeding them with the food decent men produced; instead, they must be worked, kind of like the Tzars of imperial Russia and Joseph Stalin of the USSR did to oppositional Russians; those who commit murder are subjected to capital punishment, death.
I deliberately chose to keep this paper to no more than five pages; I did so for, in my experience, reading is not yet the cup of tea of most Africans; if a paper is too long Africans are discouraged from reading it, they bypass it and will not even try to read it.
I hope that many Africans would look at this brief paper and use its thesis to start thinking about how to govern Africa well.
Africans must grow up and stop blaming white folks for the fallen house status of Africa; they must roll up their sleeves and work twenty-four-seven to develop Africa.
If true leaders emerge in Africa, men and women who set goals and mobilize resources, men and material, to achieve those goals, they can modernize Africa in thirty years.
Africa must be dragged out of what Donald Trump called its present shithole status; this must be done, by all means necessary.
