Somethings are beyond reason. It baffles me that you guys don't realise the irony in this statement. There are thousands of religions in this world, why do you believe yours is right since the rest religions are also above your reasoning?

I will tell you what's beyond your reason. I will grab a knife just before the break of dawn tomorrow morning and block you in the dark part of the streets as come out of the house to take a piss, I would squeeze the air outta your lungs, take whatever useful item on you, and then gut you like a fish on the slaughter table. Then when the cops come calling, my defence would be that "my god said" he wanna see how your insides look like so I blindly obliged him, ignoring the consequences of doing such, and I would go further saying even though I try to explain to them why I did what I did, they wouldn't be able to comprehend it because the whole situation is clearly above and over their understanding, as the rationale behind my action is privy to only my god and myself. Sounds legit.

Man could always execute diabolical acts and could justify those acts how best they can. Man has great potentials. Never underestimate man. We can reject reason, and instead clinge to blind faith, but we cannot escape the dark abyss which is the consequence of rejecting reason.

Why do you eat good food? Because you need it to survive. If your pastor tells you that God revealed to him through a dream that you should go on fast for 6 months, would you do it? Certainly not.

So any ideology that cannot be properly rationalised is worthless and harmful to man.

I don't believe in anything up to the extent that I would allow a book written centuries past by bunch of cavenmen to dictate my life, or the lives of the people around me which would still affect me by extension. I am rooting for the common good of mankind. Everything I do is done in consideration of my fellow humans, how we as a people can help each other to grow and make meaning of life, the only life we have; not pleasing some sadistic brute who would stop at nothing to cause man severe pains.
