Politics / Re: Coastal Highway: Compensation Out Of Sympathy For Those Who Voted Tinubu- Umahi by Nightwolf1: 9:06am On May 03
grin grin This man named Dave Umahi is an animal unless you don't know him pretty much.

He was simply astute in the project works he did in Ebonyi state but beside that, he was terrific to Ebonyi people.

He ruled that state like Adolf Hitler. Nobody dare challenges Umahi otherwise you would be framed up and be arrested for criminal offence you never committed.

The manner he speaks now was how he was talking as governor.

Can't you see how he deliberately brought in ethnic dimension in his criticism against Peter Obi?

He knows how to frame up an individual whose opinion is contrary to his and get that person arrested.

Unfortunately, Peter Obi is not the ordinary people he was arresting in Ebonyi state.

Have you ever set foot in Effurun?

The terrain of Lagos state was no different from much of Bayelsa
You are making noise about mangrove
Have you ever seen mangrove with your eyes?
Just parroting what you read and telling people to travel
Where have you travelled to?

Am I a government spokesperson
The design of the road is in the public domain
All you need to do is to is approach the Ministry of works

You are absolutely embarrassing. Asking me if I had set foot on Patani and Effurum is nothing but a question from someone who doesn't even step foot out of his own house let alone traveling beyond the shores of Nigeria.

Since it obvious you don't even know where the coastal highway is passing through, then it is enough to state that you and the initiators of this project are bunch of incompetent mediocrities.

If you aren't embarassingly clueless on this fraudulent road project, begin to name areas this road will pass through.

Besides I gave you specifics. Name the areas in Rivers State this road will pass through since you claimed to have travelled more than myself.

Now, go and get proper information from the designers of that road before presenting it here.

I have asked that places should be named because some us knew conditions of the environment along the coastal areas. Some places are impassable. It is a long stretch of water bodies.

That is the problem. Landmark beach is just a place of leisure with direct ocean view with beach sand.

Ok you want to uproot villagers from their own dwelling places because of road, right?

Go to Bayelsa state you will understand the condition of living in those areas.

Again, Rivers State, they should prepare to uproot Bua's refinery and the Nigerian Ports Authority Including Onne wharf.

Travel.and see ?You guys always like deceiving yourselves

Are you fishermen.? Do your people travel on water? or settle by the waterside?
There are Yoruba riverine people in fishing communities from Cameroon to Senegal
You arrogantly assume you are more widely travelled than everyone when the opposite is the case.
The Yoruba are fishing in Ibeno Akwa Ibom and can educate you about the West African coast.
So stop all this textbook deal about mangroves. What do you know that is mangrove have you seen it before.??
Palm Grove in Lagos and much of Bariga oworonshoki and Lagos State was very similar to parts of Bayelsa creeks before the 60s
The Bodo Bobby road is nearly done and the coastal road will favour Bayelsa

From Patani to Effurum, all in Delta state along the East West road, what is the condition of the environment?

Can you build a coastal highway beside an existing East West road? Coming from Bayelsa to Delta state, by the left side of that road, where is the land to build anything? Are you going to build the road in the swampy forest?

Did you even consider the numerous bridges and water tributaries along that road?

What about the swamps and mangroves?

You haven't fixed the dilapidated East West road only to jump up and started parroting your fraudulent coastal highway as the best thing on earth.

Like I said, name the areas this road project would pass through in River State if you want to challenge.

All that stories of fisherman and dwellers from from Abidjan to Egypt is absolutely diversionary.

Even Self, the map the guy showed is the one carrying the normal already existing road. I.e Lagos to Benin, Benin to Warri, Then to PH etc.

I have been patiently waiting for the actual map of where the coastal road will pass because i know that the project will be too tough.

Why i said so is because, the Delta, Bayelsa and Rivers state end have a lot of tributaries and estuaries that are very large. How roads wan take pass those places? Them go build bridges tire. Because those place na so so creeks, many rivers, and swamps plus large brackish water bodies joining the Atlantic Ocean full there.

It's obvious you have travelled along that road from your explanation.

This is the reason I'm asking them to name the areas the coastal highway would pass through if they are serious. In Bayelsa, Delta and Rivers State including Akwa ibom is a no go area.

You mean this people cannot spare just a few meters out of there vast mangrove ancestral homes for a road that will benefit them?

You need to see these areas and believe me you would begin to doubt this project.

They don't even have lands to start with and the little in their possession is what you want to take for road construction?

This present FG can't construct road on swampy areas stretching beyond 3 states.

Let me give you a glimpse of what those areas are like.

If you are travelling from Yenegoa in Bayelsa state to Warri in Delta state, along the East West road, it is swampy on both sides with mangroves plantation. We are talking about over 15 bridges along the road before you get to Warri.

You need to see this road yourself and the environment. In that way, you must ask pertinent questions concerning this coastal highway.

Why should we be concerned about where it will pass in Rivers State? Should everybody be asking where it will pass in their State or town/village to justify the economic benefits of embarking on the project? Think Nigeria my friend….not just about your State.

I'm highly sceptical about this coastal highway coming to fruition. I'm suspecting that it won't get to the South South.

They are talking about coastal areas. They don't know that coastal areas around here are peoples villages. It is different from what you have in Lagos state. The shorelines are swampy with mangrove forest and creeks.

Are they going to evacuate them from their ancestral lands just to construct a road? This is why I'm asking where this road would pass through.

That is your own problem

Your ignorance is what made you to believe that fraudulent map.

The shorelines in Rivers State and Bayelsa state including Delta is not same as Lagos state.

Because the criminals wanted to steal in trillions with this project, they never told you that coastal areas in the aforementioned States are peoples ancestral homes. It is not exactly what you have in Lagos state.

Are you going to uproot those people from their swampy villages with mangrove forests and creeks because of coastal highway?

Travel and see, that is part of education.

1. The road will connect all the 7 ports in Nigeria together

2. The road will serve as alternative to lagos-ibadan expreway.

3. All major cities in South West and South South will be connected together.

4. The 700 kilometer road is not entirely new as there many federal roads within it so served as way of repairing the bad federal roads

5. The coastal road will have rail, this will assist the new refineries to easily move their products.

You are stating the economic importance without knowing the direction of this road. Poorly tutored agbadorian.
