Imagine a situation where I have to pay someone's NEPA bill of #2000. I was speechless seeing a man with his family begging a fellow that he shouldn't cut off their light. they would pay him the money next month that he should have mercy on them considering the fact that things are hard these days..

Immediately the guy left, I went to the man and asked him what happened he said it was NEPA bill. I asked how much he said 2k. I told him to call the guy. He did, I gave the guy the 2k. Omo, it was like I paid his children's school fees. Even his wife was thanking me.

I shook my head in disbelief and left.

They don't need be told the Talibans, ISIS, Bokoharam etc are coming the moment soldiers shut down their camp.

It reminds me of Afghanistan when American soldiers started leaving. It was hell and chaotic.

Everybody was running to escape from Talibans.

It's a pity the Nigerian Govt is incapacitated. They best run away and never to come back untill it is confirmed that no more terrorists fraternising with their entire locality anymore.

They want to target obi hero company in onitsha that's their plan
Which hero company? What about peoples ancestral homes? Have you been to the Riverine areas in your whole years of existence?

Those people literally have no lands for anything not even agriculture. Yet the FG wants to steal 250 metres from the little that is available.

Dave Umahi should understand that such foolishness dictated by Tinubu will backfire from all angles against his image. They are now pushing him to commit the worst crime against humanity by using a criminal law to steal peoples ancestral homelands for the criminal project they call coastal highway.

I expected Dave Umahi to be sensible enough and steer clear from anything that would pit him with the angry and hungry populace.

He has a future to protect unlike Tinubu that has reached the twilight of his political career and with little life on earth to spend.

He should becareful.

The only thing you can think of is Tribalism. This post is about the hypocrisy of Peter Obi and not about the igbo people. If I wanted to be tribal (which I won't be), I would have mentioned that some part of Enugu do not have water. So you see it's not about Tribalism. Take it easy upon yourself.
Chill we are only starting. We are tribalistic too. Let's play

Those fools think it is easy to set up a structure that would alleviate sufferings in a region or zone far away from yours with your personal money.

Peter Obi, by every stretch of the imagination did what Tinubu can not do. Tinubu would rather go to such places and give them 2 cups of rice to share and after 1 week, everyone is back to square one.

This water project would go a long way to minimise the long distances those villagers would have to trek in that locality to fetch ordinary water. I have seen myself in such situation in the past while schooling.

I have been to remote places in this country, I can tell you for free, people are suffering. In most areas they don't have water. Go to the riverine areas in Rivers State and see how they are suffering over lack of water. It's a pitiable situation.

I commend Peter Obi for this gestures. Let others emulate his good gesture and access to portable water won't be one of our numerous problems anymore.

Peter wins.

Those whining like market women don't have any project to their names.

Obi the chief mourner and complainer will never see good in any thing. I've noticed that he post almost everyday just to engage his ppl. Politics is beyond that and he should take a queue behind his boss Atiku
Thiefnubuu was not elected to start receiving commendation from Nigerians. Peter Obi can't be the reason why thiefnubuu hired a thief as minister.

Obi will not do this, but anything negative about Nigeria is what he is after. No government won't experiences corruption, but depends on the measures taken to stop it. No government is perfect even in the western part of Asia where they kill the corrupt leader.
You are expecting Peter Obi to commend thiefnubuu for doing his own job? Was it the job of Peter Obi to fire Edu? Some of you guys on this forum are simply suffering from poor education.🤡

Politics › Re: Ban Sports Betting Apps: Reno Omokri Tells FG by Nightwolf1: 4:06pm On Jan 03, 2024
love201:
President Tinubu can immediately improve the economic conditions of most Nigerians and make the Naira grow by issuing an Executive Order authorising the Nigerian Communications Commission to ban sports betting apps from the App Store of any GSM Internet Service Provider in Nigeria and revoking the licenses of any physical sports betting operators in Nigeria. It makes better sense than Buhari's draconian #TwitterBan.

Reno Omokri on his Facebook page wrote 'There is such an epidemic of gambling in Nigeria and it is destroying Nigerian youths. $1 billion is spent on gambling daily in Nigeria, according to the National Lottery Trust Fund. Please fact-check me. The average Nigerian spends $15 daily on sports betting and other types of gambling, with the vast majority of that amount leaving our economy and going to places like Russia, South Africa, and Europe. The Naira can never sustain its rally under such circumstances.

This is scary. How much is our GDP that we are pissing it away like that? More money is leaving Nigeria through gambling than is coming in. Buhari was thoroughly useless in that he was an anti-intellectual who was led by the nose by his former recharge card seller turned overnight billionaire nephew, Tunde Sabiu. But Tinubu is an accountant. He must know that this parasitic economic sabotage will destroy Nigeria if left unchecked.

A lot of the petty crime in Nigeria is caused by youths seeking money, by any means, to fund their gambling habit. It would be irresponsible for a first-class accountant like Tinubu not to act on such a matter as threatening to our national security as this gambling epidemic.

Just imagine millions of able-bodied youths waking up daily not to do any productive work but to waste away their lives online and offline at sports betting shops. And we have a government in place led by a first-class graduate in economics?'
This guy is an idiot by nature.

Do not politicise this issue. Jagaban to me is still better than the other two he contested with.
The problem now is for all of us to tackle irrespective of who one supported of voted for.
Jagaban is better than Atiku and Obi? You see why presidential debate is good. This is why it is important to have it in other to give you a practical assessment of candidate's mental productivity.

If you aren't mentally deficient like Tinubu, how can Tinubu be better than Peter Obi?
