You have a point up there but then taking good attacking positions isn't an entirely bad idea for a team who are looking to tear you apart.

With players who are constantly positioned in wide areas, a team achieves two things:

1. Stretches the pitch to its limit
2. Creates plenty of room for passing in the midfield.

Alonso and Pedro's run are essential in many ways.

I believe its much more easier to deal with ball carriers than runners.

A 3-5-2 is a system that would benefit every ninja in our team. Luiz and co can play their game, Cesc would have little defensive duties to worry about, Morata would get the chance to link up with a man up-front.

It is one hell of a flexible system that addresses the weakness of a 3-4-3.

Getting goals is the least of our problems, so i am not bothered about Costa.

Moses and Alonso are hardly defensive flankers, they are much more attack oriented in our setup. Hazard who has been out for a while now brings a lot of quality to that forward line and he has been sorely missed. The triumvirate of Pedro, Morata and Hazard looks good on paper and is yet to be tried out. So i won't bother myself about Costa, atleast for now.

The midfield and full-backs are areas work needs to be done.
