larride:you're lucky I'm in a benevolent mood. I would have invoked a tribe of locust to come am consume your waec certificate. Or perhaps sent some of the descendants of the Egyptian plague frogs to come and croak very loudly outside your window whenever you're trying to watch TV. |
Greatihex:Chris was gold until Barca game. There's a reason he went from being azpi-level indispensable to getting dropped from the team in the last few weeks. |
larride:You know I'm a Pharisee of the temple of Solomon, and an original acolyte of Melchizedek - the priest king. I have studied the sacred scrolls of the Torah, the Nevim and the Ketuvim. I have communed with the holy ghost and I am one with the cosmos. I am not to be trifled with. So do NOT Fück with me. Lest I come with a knife and bundle you with the hem of your garment, and make you experience an issue of blood. ![]() |
raumdeuter:This is an example of one of the kind of misses you're talking about https://j.gifs.com/86NnZL.gif You mean you can still blame someone else other than Morata for this? So this chance is not clear enough for Morata to net? You mean supporting cast has not done enough here? Until they give him tapin while He's sitting ontop of the goalkeeper that he is allowed to score right? That's why I say we should kuku sign my grandmother. She cannot run and score. The only type of goal she cam score is tapin from 1 yard. The main difference is that she's cheaper than Morata so we can save money mbok |
raumdeuter:1-1 and on penalties Why didn't they score us 3 goals in 8 minutes too? Or at least 2 in 4 minutes? |
raumdeuter:Opta defines a big chance like this: A situation where a player should reasonably be expected to score usually in a one-on-one scenario or from very close range. so everything you're saying here is bollocks. Morata has been in 28 scenarios where he was either one on one with the keeper or shooting from very close range, and only has 11 goals to show for it. You might as well blame the opposition keeper for going to stand where Morata's shot was aimed, or English FA for not making the goal post bigger. |
timbros:Are you OK? If red card pressure is what led to our loss, then how did we beat Norwich with 9 men this same seaon? You mean a red card is the reason Courtois fouled an opposition player? ![]() And red card is the reason Luiz and Cahill forgot how to defend. Why don't you blame Bakayoko for Chibok girls too? |
raumdeuter:so him giving him the 2nd highest number of chances in the league is not enough. His teammates have to work twice as hard as everybody else because where the average league striker needs 3 clear cut chances to score 1 goal, Morata needs 10? If that's the case, Chelsea might as well sign my my grandmother and leave her in her wheelchair upfront. sure she might be offside more often than not, but if we keep aiming 100 crosses per game in her direction, more than 11 will go in over the season. She's cheaper than Morata too. |
diggz:Leave am. Someone that once said this: timbros:Is now asking how many minutes Morata played to justify his his meagre return. |
timbros:honestly you seem incapable of logical reasoning. I'm sorry to say. Aguero and Morata had 28 big chances each. Lukaku had 25 Aguero scored 21 goals. Lukaku scored 16 goals Morata scored 11 regardless of minutes played, Morata was given the same number of, or more big chances than his competitors. We don't even care if all the chances came in a single match - Why can't he score all the goals in the time frame given? Them dey forbid am to score big chances? |
timbros:I think your problem is that you are are either deliberately misunderstanding or incapable of understanding what discussion is happening here. Nobody is debating that Bakayoko played badly in that game. The question has been - Is Bakayoko directly responsible for our loss to watford? when Yoko left the pitch, the score was 0-0 If Bakayoko was not on the pitch when the first Watford goal was scored, then what are you blaming him for exactly? A red card? What does red card have to do with Courtois giving away a first half penalty? What does red card have to do with Luiz brainfarting all over the place? What does red card have to do with Cahill nodding ball into his own damn net? Timbros you well so? |
timbros:I'm definitely not taking it because it's not true. like I pointed out, we beat Norwich with 9 men this same season so 10 men are not too few to hold to a 1-1 scoreline for 8 minutes against Watford. when you consider how Watford scored their goals, it is IMPOSSIBLE for any rational person to blame Bakayoko for the individual defensive errors of Courtois for fouling a Watford player for a penalty, or Cahill and Luiz failing to track their men and/or deflecting the ball into their own net. That makes no damn sense |
timbros:Despite this, Morata had far more chances than Lukaku to score. The number of minutes Morata played less than Lukaku is completely irrelevant...there is no correlation between the number of chances received and the number of minutes played. Both of Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero have played free minutes than Morata and yet have more goals. Aguero has received the exact same number of big chances that Morata recieved and he has 21 goals to Morata's 11. If I give you 3 big chances in each game, I expect a hattrick or brace in each game. If you don't score the chances you're fed when you're on the pitch, then you can't claim the reason you did not score is because you were benched. isn't that exactly what the parable of talents teaches us? on judgement day, God will ask Morata what he did with the chances he was given, just before he smites him with a plague of rectal boils. Timbros go to church bro. |
timbros:I would say exactly the same thing. Didn't Morata and Pedro both get sent off in a game against Norwich this season? Somehow we didn't lose. But Bakayoko's red card in first half is the reason why we chopped 3 goals in the last 8 minutes of the game. Next thing now, you enter pekas after a few drinks, when engine no start, you will be looking for Bakayoko red card to blame... |
timbros:You know the score was 1-1 in the 82nd minute right? against a relegation team that we should easily beat with 9 men sef. There is no sane person that can dare say red card = automatic loss. This is what Conte himself had to say about the match "In the second half we showed good determination but confusion. You have to manage the situation, to understand it. But in 10 minutes we conceded three goals. In this case it is right everyone to take the responsibility. Me, the players." I don't understand how Bakayoko's red card is responsible for Watford's right back dribbling FIVE of your defenders to score with his LEFT foot. Or how Bakayoko in the shower was the one that caused Cahill to deflect ball inside his own net. You people chat a lot of shït sometimes sha... |
raumdeuter:Go and check post history on these two game weeks and see who's name was being shouted. I remember how Lukaku bullied Christensen like a school boy... |
raumdeuter:Bakayoko got his red card in Watford game and then got injured so he wasn't playing either Christensen came into the tean and started giving away goals every single match |
raumdeuter:well order is debatable culpability is not I don't disagree with your listing except for Morata. He's number 1 on the list. |
lalaboi:You are a joke if you believe that 10 men, 5 of whom are defenders can't hold on to a scoreline for 8 minutes against a relegation side. What a clown. |
Ibime:10 man Chelsea held on against prime Barca for 90 minutes 10 man chelsea with 5 defenders on the pitch can't hold 1-1 draw for 8 minutes? against Watford? that chopped 3 or 4 from West Ham in their very next game. Try another excuse 2 names are bing held up as failures of the season - Morata and Bakayoko. No amount of ranting you do here will erase that Donkeys name from our failures.Another Lie. Bakayoko has been rubbish but cannot be directly blamed for our form. He's not a striker so we can't blame him for profligacy. We created more chances to score than Manyoo in 2nd place, so Bakayoko did not impact our creativity. We conceded fewer chances than Manyoo in 2nd so Bakayoko did not impact our defence. Conte had told you that we lack goal scorers so we can't challenge for anything. If you like shout Bakayoko from now till eternity, the facts disagree with you. The players with the biggest direct impact on our season have been Morata Courtois Christensen in that order. Argue with your phone charger. |
lalaboi:Bakayoko was not on the pitch as at 82nd minute with the score at 1-1 Are you saying 10 man Chelsea cannot hold that scoreline for 8 minutes? |
Ibime:So 10 men cannot hold on to a 1-1 draw from the 82nd minute. Or you mean Bakayoko's red card is the reason janmaat left right back position and dribbled 5 defenders to score? |
Ibime:actually if you watched the match you'll remember that Bakayoko left the pitch when it was 0-0 Basket Courtois gave away the penalty that Watford scored 1st with. Hazard equalised and then with only 5 minutes to go, janmaat dribbled 5 defenders to score, and Cahill deflected ball into the net. If you watched the game, you would remember that Bakayoko wasn't actually at fault for any goal in that game. If you had watched that game... wait first did you watch the game? Ibime:No wonder you're here giving us alternative facts
|
raumdeuter:I was just about to point out the same thing to him Ibime:Hazard once 2 months without scoring and hasn't changed. Yet you want to blame somebody else for our defeat in games where the guy who hasn't changed regardless of supporing cast was playing up front? what is this? comedy half hour? |
raumdeuter:I weak for the guy |
