Emexnairaland:God Bless you, please every other person having two appointment date precisely 12th and 13 August try and go on 12th oh. Thank you all as we continue our DE Journey lets all try to be our brother's keeper |
SSamuelo:just as advised lets go on the 12th, then if it doesnt hold we come back on the 13th |
jide4lagos:Bro. All fingers are not equal, you have to be grateful for having money for the tuition and not to make this kind of comment. Hopefully you will get a date, and i wish you well in your DE journey |
Kratos14:Thanks, yours will come |
Mudi4u:I guess you didnt get the post right. I have two(2) appointment date (12th August and 13th August) with just one(1) booking and i believe there are people in my shoe |
Those who have two(2) AD scheduled on 12th August(Public holiday) and 13th August(Public holiday) identify yourself lets have a meeting. it is really confusing having two(2) Appointment date on Public holidays |
lovable85:Amen and Amen. I claim it |
I shall testify in Part 7 by God's Grace |
Kboy2020:You need to give a detailed breakdown of what happened prior and after your interview, stating your transcript (VO and your response), the year you graduated , your work experience, the genuity of your SL, and the VO's final response during your interview. These will enable us know how to help you |
evergreen9:please runaway from form A, my one dollar advice |
Tamax:. Stay away from cbn form A. Nigeria banks are scammers. They promise you cbn exchange rate for form A and use a rate higher than black market at the end. You can use any other means but not form A. The truth is that banks use your form A to source for funds from cbn at cbn exchange rate then sell it to you at a rate higher than aboki rate and still charge you bank charges. |
Bigpapa080:Any other means but not through Zenith bank FORM A. my one dollar advice except you are rich and you dont mind them using your money to scam you |
Advice of the day: Do not fund your block account with form A most especially Zenith Bank. They tell you their exchange rate is CBN Exchange rate then fund your account with a rate higher than Black market/Aboki and still charge you bank charges. My one dollar advice run from them |
jide4lagos:This course strong oh, 3 different countries hmm, All the best, please elders come and help answer this question |
Somstevee:i wish I have the answer to your question, but the truth is I can't advice you on that. But stay off from form A except u can afford a rate higher than black market |
emirate0:they charged me 409.7/euros last week even when the black market rate was around 404/euros. Stay clear form A, form A is pure scam, I mean scam of the highest order. look for other better alternative to fund your block account |
Somstevee:There is nothing like form A at CBN rate. I am talking from experience except you are willing to fund your block account at a rate even higher than aboki or black market rate then use form A |
Yeside20:Oga abi Madam spokesperson of Zenith bank, you don't tell people you are using CBN Official rate for the day for form A and later use a rate even higher than black market when doing the transaction. |
In my case I have written to zenith to refund my money then I copied cbn on the mail. Zenith bank is scam on using CBN form A, I authorize them to fund my account with 8829 euros after they told me the rate for the day is 342/euros so I had to transfer the equivalent of 8829euros at the rate of 342/euros into my zenith taking into consideration slight change that might occur during the processing of CBN form A, rather they went and funded my block account with just 7500euros at the rate of 409.7/euros without my consent |
kingpaddysfarm:They told me 342/euros which was even the cbn rate for that day and I was given at 409.7/euros(even higher than aboki rate) . The truth is stay away from banks that promise heaven and earth to scam you with the use of CBN form A. Example Zenith bank, they end up using a higher rate |
OdiEma:You are correct, zenith bank lure people with the use of form A telling you they are using cbn official rate and later funds your account with a rate even higher than the parallel market. Currently I am having a legal battle with them, I was given cbn official rate before the transaction and they ended up using a rate higher than even the parallel market rate. I have written cbn with all the proof and my next line of action is to write to cpc, efcc etc and publish it in national daily. We wouldn't continue to be duped by these banks, they use your document to source for funds at official rate from cbn with the use of form A and sell it to you at exorbitant rate and still collect bank charges for the transaction. This scam and injustice will have to stop and I am ready for this battle |
DBestDoc:. That's so terrible. This country is messed up. My anger is that I was told and assured that the cbn officially exchange rate will be used and I requested they transfer a 8829euros rather 7500 euros was transferred with the exorbitant rate without my consent of the high rate |
oyinthread:. Trying to hide that for now for security purpose, but I don't know If I am taking the right step by not disclosing that now |
Good day all, please I need your advice on this. I recently requested to make a student transaction abroad with the use of CBN Form A last week from a bank in Lagos. Three forms were given to me to fill(i.e cbn form A, authorization form and one other form) and I was also requested to submit my admission letter, passport copy, etc. Prior to the transaction I was made to know that the exchange rate for Form A is cbn rate, I was also given a breakdown of the approved rate for different currency for the transaction by the bank customer care service(which I confirmed from CBN portal as their official rate, euro - 342, dollar - 305 etc) I submitted the required document and the form late last week and a debit of 5000 naira was debited from my account with description of transaction by the bank as CBN form A processing and 250 as VAT and also 5000 yet to be debited. To my greatest surprise this evening I got an alert that my account was debited at 409.7 naira /euros and my transaction was not fully completed because of the crazy rate applied by the bank. I also noticed the description of the transaction from the debit email as "FX sales" meaning the bank sold foreign exchange to me at exorbitant rate rather than sourcing the fund from CBN with my documents and form A. I have called the bank and I requested they cancel the transaction and refund my money since they decided to rob me of my hard earned money without doing the right thing and I was told to write a letter and that the process will take a long time. Please I need advice on how to get my money back fast as I have limited time in completing the transaction abroad before the start of winter semester. I also want to know how to channel this to the FG and CBN as these banks are out to exploit people of their hard earned money after recently getting a lot of foreign exchange allocation for form A and form M |

Note: 409.7-342 = 67.7 naira/euros which amount to 67.7*7500 = 507,000 naira was stolen by the bank with the use of CBN form A without my consent |
