Wheingo35: Lol! Please disregard that, besides you didn't screen-grab the whole info, plus NERC is to conduct face-to-face interview not via zoom. The funny thing is I heard the same thing this morning, from two separate people. One claimed her elder brother attended a zoom interview with NERC, the other knows a family friend that attended the interview online. |

Olowozain: What you have in your brain, your technical skills and experience does not have anything to do with your dress. We are not in a western nation for you to dress in their cultural way of life. Nigeria, we understood our diversity, we respect people's culture, belief and way of life in as much as we are not indecently dressed. Nobody will condemned you for morally dressed, no matter how your attire looks like. Prove your skills, knowledge, experience and abilities to deliver exceptionally. Staff sighted. |

SilentMan: Like I said earlier, this is someone I can vouch for.
We all have that friend we can always vouch for, if you don't have such in your life, then it is fine. Goodnight. I believe you. God bless your friendship with him. I have friends like that. It's a blessing to have them in your corner. I have decided to pick insights from his post, which he made just to keep that glimmer of anger away from our hearts. He said and I quote: ... "who is steadfast in prayer and a true Christian".Get closer to your creator. Have empathy, help those in need and watch the grace of God shower upon your life. Cheers to a lovely day people. |

ulaeto: This life you see is a mystery.. The foolish things you laugh to may turn out to be just the thing you need for a breakthrough. Someone ask a question about the time these calls are usually made, and another asked what number is used to made these call, but we turn this questions to mockery, believed me the moment you missed a call due to unforeseen circumstances and you were expecting such calls, you'll realised not everything is spelled in white and black. These forum was created to delibrate and share on such ideas to help us decipher what's happening. The essence of this thread is beginning to be defeated if we continue to hold on to answers to questions asked here.
For me, this period is the height of our disunity in this thread, at a time we all needed ourselves most, we all tend towards selfishness. Then this thread should be deleted already since it had long served the purpose it was created during application and testing days.!! Hi, I totally get your points however, most of what you wrote down seems to be pure blackmail. I will explain why. Firstly, if you have ever received a phone call from a potential employer, you'd realise that, there is no particular pattern to their calls. In most cases, they would keep calling till you pick. Except maybe the job wasn't for you and then they jump to the next candidate. (This is experience thumbing.) Secondly, people like Newcastle, Leks4sure and Tammy have shared info here. Sometimes they were bashed, and then hailed. In all, they did it out of their own volition, which I believe is to help those with connects -like you- push. This thread shouldn't be deleted, you know why? Because we are all selfish at one point in our lives and you my friend have just proven this in your reply to Crytoguy101. No one owes us anything; no one. Anything we get, let's collect it with both hands and be very appreciative. |

Mmadu111: not true, B.Sc with experience could gain higher Grade Level than someone with M.sc without tracked experience record. Someone with B.sc in GL12 in State public service or Structured private sector for example, getting this NERC could be placed in GL10 step 4, while someone with just M.sc will end up with GL09 step 1. Experience is way different from just degrees in terms of placement. I agree with you. Besides, you went full circle on me, and came back to what I thumbed. We now agree that entry level for MA is GL 9 step 1? Remember, "entry level" is the keyword here. Why would an experienced person apply for an entry level position and still want to hold on to the experience? Besides, having an MA/MSc and PhD are usually tagged "added advantage". |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission ("NERC") Is Recruiting. by nikola(m): 11:50am On Oct 11, 2022 |
Mmadu111: lol..you should be talking about Grade Level salary structure and not mere degrees category salary scaling. The way you put up this figure based on Degrees kinda revealed you have not worked in a structured organization before. Normally, entry level is Bsc while Msc is level 9. That's exactly what she meant. |

It's only on Nairaland that you hear; the "President's candidate" wouldn't meet up with a cut-off mark or pass a test. LoL In most cases, being a candidate to a top shot doesn't mean the person is dull. Such person is fortunate to have "a miracle working connect." Like we all don't wanna be in their shoes. |

LMAO "Least competitive state" indeed. Remember, where you levels starts and stops, that's where another person's own begins. Be humble, be appreciative and most of all, be silent. People are panicking already and they have forgotten so soon that when uploads started, some had given up and then they were asked to upload later. Life doesn't begin and end with NCDMB. Olowozain: What fabricated information in order to penetrate people's mind were sourced properly? How does the information of knowing a commissioner and 30 slots only available for the general public became a useful information to the audience? You are distracting for indirectly mentioned someone being rude! Are you part of the chain or feeling pathetic for them? Otherwise, allow the informant to round up his or her information with the total numbers of vacancies for the recruitment. If someone knows 30, he or she must knows the total number of vacancies! Hi! I refused to quote anyone out of respect and replies like this. First of all, I believe by now, we should know a childish claim when we see one. Where you cannot decipher, ask questions politely and you'd receive answers. Trust me, it works everytime. When Leks4sure came with news that text messages for the test would drop, he was also kind enough to add some other details. Now, this is someone I'd read and follow because he's got consistency for a badge. If you really read and digested what I thumbed, it would perhaps, be very easy to see who I was referring to. Check my posts, I have been consistent with calling out people to "live and let live." If you are not comfortable with an information, move on. Where you cannot move on, please be polite in addressing such information. Is this too much to ask? Cheers |

We never learn; we just refuse to learn. Someone leaves his comfort zone, drops a piece of information he believes he sourced properly. Another person will barge in, and try to talk him down. Brethren, any information obtained here and elsewhere should be taken with a pinch of whatever flavour you adore. Being rude to the one that came with the information isn't a flavour at all. That other group that will bounce in, and say slots have been shared, are also not being fair. Allow those that have faith to see the process through. Let's learn to live and let live please. This life is too short to keep breathing in toxicity. Cheers to a lovely day ahead people. |

maureensylvia: It happened in June this year, he deserted, tried calling him it was unreachable, His family and the police didn't help either.
I got the idea of complaining to his bank, I went to his bank on August (Access bank) they asked me why I didn't come all these while that he withdrew the last part of the money 4 days before I came!!! E pain me shaa o
The customer care directed me to court to get a court order to restrict the account, I went to court, got the court order(pics displayed) paid them 10% of the total money. The bank restricted his account.
Yesterday afternoon, I got a call to come over to the bank...the guy was trying to make a transfer but he couldn't which warranted him to go to the bank... The customer care told me he has 80% of the money in his account that with my consent, they'll unfreeze it and pay me or I can wait till it's complete and take all... they were certain because it's a salary account... money must enter.
Though the guy pleaded with me to be paying 20k monthly buy omooorr I don't think I'll have such patience. The bank told him to be paying the 20k into his account till it completes.
so the ball is now in my court
All thanks to Access bank Any reason why he refused to honor his own part of the deal after collecting your money? I really wonder what goes on in their heads. How do you keep someone's money and refuse to even return it. Now, he begs. When you refuse, bystanders will play the "you are heartless" cassette. We need to do better as a people. |
