On a 5 is around 2.52. Thats not half bad. However, you may have to avoid NC programs as Realk1 pointed out.
Generally, GPA is not the only criterion for admission.

olaoluphilip: You can book and go for the interview without paying the money to your block account. The woman will just tell you to inform them when you get the confirmation of your payment and I guess they wont give you the visa until you send them the confirmation even if it has been granted

Yea. No guessing though...they will not issue it (visa) without confirmation.

@Justcul, I am sensing they book applications with a view that the account will have been opened...a minimum of three weeks after a request (regardless of the preferred date).
Ofcourse you can wait for Ndyo's to 'mature', but a 2-3week gap appears to be the case.
