I have come to return all glory and praise to God Almighty for working His wonders, for doing His things His own way. After bleeding profusely for 3 good weeks, praying to God, even my hubs told my gynea to kukuma abort this wonderful foetus of mine so that his wife can rest. But I held on to my faith and I kept declaring that my baby is safe in this beautiful and warm womb of mine. God did it. I stopped bleeding 2days ago, went for scan today and was amazed at how visible, cute and big (it was just a small dot the last time I was at the scan center) this beautiful unborn child of mine is. My OS is closed, as in them use super glue jam the thing together . My bp is soooo normal that my gynea ask me weda I dey think anything at all for this my life . Devil ntooorrrrr .
We are 11wks and 4days today... I bless God for all of you mamas, you don't know what this thread means to most of us. Bring it on morning sicki, I'm ever ready for you , iranu ....

My dear GTC mamas, really have no fear. If I can bleed for 3 good weeks with better clot and still have my baby intact this early in this journey cos God willed it so, just know that He hasn't forgotten you at all. Whatever be the problem, it is not difficult for my Jehovah Jireh, the Alpha and the Omega to take charge.
Looking at this scan picture, I'm using this baby of mine as a point of contact towards all of you and I'm saying you are blessed. Your fruit must spring forth cos it's your birthright, in Jesus name, Amen.

Ariyke it is well with you. Pls don't let anything especially failed relationship disturb you, i know how it can be. Trust me I know how you feel but because we tolerate things better than each other. Your final exams is much more important than a relationship that you know is gone. Put it behind you and face your exams squarely. The Lord is your strength. I was on this thread when two of my relationships crashed but i kept on trusting in God if he can do it for others why will mine be different? I know very soon you will come back here to share the good news with us.

There are numerous methods of making plantain (fried, baked, cooked), fish, yam(Porridge with meat/ fish, fried yam, cooked) and even beans (Moi-Moi, Akara), Swallow (Iyan, fufu, oat, wheat flour, cassava, garri, plantain flour). You can even make Jollof rice and beans or separate with stew.

There are numerous soups out there (delve outside your comfort zone, try other tribe's soup), especially if you are resident in Nigeria where the leaves are readily available and fresh, unlike this nonsense we eat here. Research a new soup and have him taste and tell you if he likes it or how he would like it. Remember, he is your husband, your honey, your whatever!!!! It's all about research, creativity and resilience. When you guys go out together, observe what he eats outside the normal and prepare them.

You can also make him understand the health implication of indulging in rice (Pretty high starch), especially as you both get older. Diabetes, and high blood pressure are also associated with food food with high carbs.

The fact you are worried about his eating proves you genuinely care about him.

I am so happy to be able to post here as I have been reading posts and birth stories. I just tested positive today as this is the day I was supposed to get period but thank God it travelled. My app says I'm exactly 4weeks today according to LMP(23 Feb). This is going to be my first baby and I'm both scared and excited lol. I pray for a smooth, happy and healthy pregnancy. My due date again according to LMP is November 29th which happens to be my birthday. Isn't God wonderful? To think I was conceived around same time years ago too

Please who can recommend a good foundation that's less than 10k. One that wouldn't make you look like you rubbed pancake once you go under the sun . I really loved my current brand while it lasted but the way my bank is set up, I can't keep up with the price. It was easier to buy these stuff when I was unemployed and spending father's then hubby's money, now that I've to actually use my own money, so many things look like such a waste

U can try oriflame foundation. It's very nice and lasts long. Just #4290. I laugh hard at spending father and hubby's money
