FMC Abeokuta uncovers ghost workers sponsoring petitions against MD, others The management of Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abeokuta, Ogun State, has uncovered two ghost workers allegedly sponsoring frivolous and unfounded petitions against, the Medical Director, Prof. Adewale Musa-Olomu and some management staff. According to a disclaimer issued by the hospital's Public Relations Officer, Mr. Segun Orisajo, the two faceless workers are Sunday Anisere and Abdullahi Abiodun. It would be recalled that the two unknown workers in the last eight months have petitioned the Federal Ministry of Health indicting the Medical Director, Prof. Adewale Musa-Olomu for alleged mismanagement, irregularities and age falsification. The unknown workers in connivance with some top management staff kicked against the reappointment of the Prof. Musa-Olomu as Chief Medical Director of the hospital. But Orisajo, in the disclaimer, emphasised that the said Anisere and Abiodun have always claimed to be concerned staff of the hospital, explaining that after painstaking investigation on the duo, the management discovered that their names were not on the nominal roll as workers of the institution. He said, "the Management of Federal Medical Centre Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, hereby disclaim the identities of the following persons: Sunday Anisere and Abdullahi Abiodun as members of staff in the Centre. "The two individuals who claimed to be “concerned staff of Federal Medical Centre Idi-Aba Abeokuta” had in the recent times engaged in the issuance of some spurious allegations and defamatory statements against some members of staff. "The management, after a painstaking examination of its nominal roll had found out that none of the two names exist as members of staff in the Centre." The management, however, called on members of the public to disregard any statement that might have emanated from the two fictitious names, addresses and telephone numbers. "To this end, members of the public and in particular the relevant authorities and agencies are by this publication advised to disregard any statement that might have emanated from the two fictitious names, addresses and telephone numbers whose agenda was targeted at soiling the good name of the Centre and its workforce".

PSL Leadman, Egona Abraham Debunks Scamming Allegation ..says 'wicked detractors are at work' Leadman, Possibility Specialists Global Resources, Egona Abraham, popularly known as Father Abraham, has broken his silence on festering rumours that the company’s operations are scams. Abraham with our correspondent on telephone conversation reacted that the response would not have been necessary but for deliberate mischievous media campaigns orchestrated by the scheme's detractors. The kernel of the defamatory allegation, he said, was a claim that PSL allegedly swindled a woman, Eneanza Amala, to the tune of N39m. He described them as very untrue, all lies, noting, "such name by the way is not in our database; this shows their unverified information passed to the public for selfish interest and was a total mislead". Real name of our old member who led her 19 prospects blindly is Eneanya Amaka Sophia, popularly known as Sophynana, who has been benefiting and receiving regular payouts since 2018 to 2019, 2020 and 2021 before this time, is now regretting her act of impatience. He said contrary to the unsubstantiated and apparently false allegation, a company actually triggered losses to PSL in their trading activities, and that the case is under investigation with results upcoming at Special Fraud Unit, Ikoyi Lagos under the management of CP in charge. "The firm is owing her as much as over N500m that led to the recent instability of payments; PSL is still paying and will continue to." According to him, the said journalist belittled the role of the PSL Leadman through one of our Press saying, "He wanted administrative fees not to publish the story which was declined. Father Abraham, it will be recalled, then said, “We can never offer it for any reason because we have nothing to hide; we're too legit for that. Possibility Specialists maintains the integrity of a dedicated system, making transparency our watchword”. Abraham the Leadman lamented that the matter was not well investigated at all by the Police before laying charges against them and the case was hurriedly taken to court in less than 24 hours. He affirmed that “I was truly arrested in the afternoon of 29th of August and charged to court on the 30th in the morning without any fair hearing from me; it is a civil case and never a criminal case as published by PM Express and other unknown online medium. It’s a conspiracy to tarnish my image and that of PSL." He said without being prejudicial to the pending case in the court, he had confidence that true justice would be served out in no time and with the matter’s reconciliation process done. Abraham, however, expressed confidence in "natural justice also; that all our PSLITES whom we had lifted would not see us as scammers, having experienced us as a body that remains incontestably truthful in the market." "The publisher of the unverified information by name Cyriacus Izuekwe, who is representing PM Express as an Associate Editor need to repent of his unguided act, if truly he is truly a professional, investigative journalist; he ought to find out the truth from Possibility Specialists management to be sure of the story before publishing it but never bothered; he relied so much on the information he claimed was given to him by the Police. What a failure he is"? Abraham reiterated that Possibility Specialists remains one of the most sincere institutes of money growth in the whole world with consistent records of undoubted integrity and transparency, which is today a pride of Nigeria and never a Ponzi scheme in any way. "It’s a total misrepresentation, we produce raw rice for sale, mobile phones for our numerous cooperators receiving regular dividends, skill acquisition school, car sales, bee keeping, smoked cat fishes, forex trading, hospitality industry, charity, empowerment offers, oil & gas initiatives ongoing, Forex/Crypto trading school/hub, Industrial Consultancy, Catering and many more. "Operations are now on for many years with records of words kept since 1999; let none thus destroy our image and good reputation so cheaply. We will overcome all these challenges in no time. The mischief journalist will promptly and surely face all appropriate legal measures as the matter has been referred to our legal team," Abraham stated.

The command said this on Thursday during a monthly scorecard briefing held at the Command’s headquarters in Idiroko border area of the state. During the briefing, the command also confirmed the seizure of 830 cartons of frozen poultry products, 15 vehicles, used foreign clothes, bags, shoes, illicit drugs and others. In the month under review, the agency put the cumulative duty paid value of all its seizures at N72.5 million. The Comptroller, Peter Kolo, stated that the command generated a sum of N1,997,500 from the auction of seized petroleum products and scrap metals, saying the Ogun State borders are still closed to customs operations. “The command has made significant progress in its anti-smuggling operations in the state during the month of August, 2021, with a total record of 95 seizures,” Mr Kolo said. Other items impounded during the period under review include six sacks of cannabis sativa and other illicit drugs, six bales and 15 sacks of used clothing, six sacks and 90 pieces of used handbags, six sacks and 34 pairs of used shoes, 592 kegs of petroleum products of 25 litres each and many other items. Mr Kolo commended the officers’ gallantry “in the face of sustained intimidation and unwarranted attacks by desperate dare devil smugglers.” He urged them to maintain a high level of professionalism in carrying out their statutory duties. Mr Kolo also appreciated sister security agencies, traditional rulers and other critical stakeholders for “their synergy and collaboration with the NCS.” He added that 20 suspected smugglers had been dragged to court over illegal importation of contraband. He spoke further that the campaign of calumny and blackmail against the command by some students or any other group and their sponsors would not discourage their resolve to succeed in the battle against “enemies of the state.”

Hon Dennis Ogunnaike made this known last Friday during the construction and installation of Party and National flags at the Secrtariat of the All Progressives Congress in Wards 1 and 2 of Imosan and Imodi respectively in Odogbolu local government. Quoting from the book of Proverbs Chapter 16 verse 7, he describes the Governor as a Man whose ways pleases the Lord whereby He (the Lord) has made all his enemies to be at peace with him. He further mentioned that the party flag among others symbolises influence, power, authority and responsibility. The road according to him has opened the local government to the largest economic cluster Trans-Africa while it he as also opened up different zones within the LG to a much desired industrial revolution and unlimited investment opportunities. He affirmed that Government is resolute in delivering on the Infrastructure, Social Well -Being, Education, Youth Empowerment and Agriculture (I.S.E.Y.A) Mantra and would leave no stone unturned towards the actualisation of this mission.
