Six months ago, I once clicked on my own ads out of curiosity and ignorance cos I was new to AdSense then but Google decided to ban me anyway even after appealing to them. It didn't pain much me cos I only had $7.00 in the account. So I decided to open 3 new accounts for insurance in case of next time. To my surprise they all got approved within 24 hrs and started displaying ads again immediately. I am always surprised when I hear people complaining about not getting approved for up to weeks. It has been six months now and I have decided I do not need the other two accounts anymore so I decided to sell them but I am not sure how useful a hosted account is to another person. I did some research and discovered all the account settings can be changed including the approved websites for displaying the ads.

But I still want to confirm; is it possible to sell my hosted AdSense account to another person?

The VALUES() was missing a closing bracket.

I ran this MySQL query:

NB: The emoticon in the query is actually a closing bracket followed by a semi-colon.

And I get this error:

I have been trying for some hours now and still couldn't find the syntax error. Pls, what am I doing wrong?

It depends on the kind of chat system you want implement. For example, you might want to create a friendship system first so that user will only recieve chat message from friends to prevent and control spamming and to protect privacy.

Optical illusions are images that are perceived visually different from what they are reality. They force the eye to gather information wrongly which is then processed in the brain which results in a perception that differs from the reality.

These are just some of hundreds or thousands of illusions found all over the internet


Stare at the red dot on the girl's nose for 30 seconds. Then look at the blank white space and blink really quickly a few times. You will be amazed to see a colorful girl. The rods and cones in your eyes lose sensitivity from over-stimulation, and for a short period afterwards, colors are interpreted as their paired primary color. This is an example of after-image illusion


As you stare into the black dot in the middle, the brain adjusts for its surroundings and erases all the fluff around the edges. This is called Troxler's effect, and shows what amazing things extreme focus can do!


This is a bistable illusion where you can see movement both clockwise and counterclockwise.

Is there a more diplomatic way of preventing your staffs from stealing your code other than locking them up and restricting them to wireless communication and storage devices.

Pretty much nothing physically stops you from copying and pasting the code, and sending it to yourself.

The legal & career repercussions for doing this would be severe.

Also, most of the code isn't really that cool on its own. It's not like you can just copy paste FB's code and have Facebook. You need all of the data that the algorithms use, infrastructure, and much more.

And as others said, some of the security measures are more locked down, and a lot of the employees (including many engineers) never need to interact with them (i.e. encryption)

Also, you only code on FB's codebase on your work computer. Theres pretty much no reason for the code to ever leave your work computer - so code doesn't really just "leak" over time.

Edit: if you searched hard, you probably could find snippets of FB code on Stackoverflow when employees ask questions. But after the first few weeks on the job, any engineer would realize they should anonymize the code.

I think I might have pasted 1 or 2 raw snippets of PHP on the first few days I was learning code at FB, and actually got some people to reply on StackOverflow saying "what the hell kind of PHP is that"... turns out I was pasting snippets of "Hack", our at the time very secret language.
