The fight against fake drugs has been going on strong but it appears that the fighters are lesser than the perpetrators and so, their efforts is less as against the expected result.
Another serious factor that has contributed to drug abuse is the inability of Nigerians to know what their bodies need and this often result in adverse drug reaction which at most times is disastrous.

reported to have consumed a Malaria Drug, called: “Grutha fort"


…and then he reacted badly to the drug.. Though, some folks are arguing that it’s a Steven Johnson syndrome, while others are saying the drugs probably contained sulfur. But here’s what we know.. The lack of adequate home training by the parents to their children and the inability of the children to adhere to the little that they are taught by their parent have contributed immensely to the degrading moral standards and virtues that once defined us as a nation of good people and great heritage.

The worst betrayal to endure is that of an unfaithful spouse to his or her partner especially when the perpetrator is the wife. Today however, we have come to understand that worse than the worst is when the wife cheats on the husband with his best friend as the man faces a two point betrayal with little or no where to run to to for help and comfort.

Lady Blue Eyes has been laid to rest.

Barbara Sinatra, who died July 25 at her home in Rancho Mirage, California from natural causes, was buried Wednesday in a star-studded funeral service. She was 90.
The service was held in Palm Desert, California, where a congregation of celebrities and friends remembered her, according to The Desert Sun.

Her longtime friend, Robert Wagner, delivered a moving eulogy, recalling the first time he met Barbara, before she was married to Frank Sinatra or Zeppo Marx.

An 18-year-old woman has been arrested after crashing her car and killing her 14-year-old sister, a moment she live streamed to her Instagram account.

Obdulia Sanchez , from Stockton, is accused of driving under the influence during the deadly incident in Los Banos, California on Friday.
Her younger sibling, Jacqueline Sanchez, died at the scene and authorities are now looking into the graphic video that they believe shows the deadly events unfolding.

There was a pandemonium in Use Offot Traffick Lights along Nwaniba Road where the Main Campus of the University Of Uyo is located in Uyo, the Akwaibom State capital.
In what could be described as the most reckless driving that could if not for God's mercy have claimed tens of lives on Friday. A truck carrying more than 200 bags of Cement had a head on collision with a taxi carrying six passengers.

In order to dodge the truck from hitting the taxi again as it was clear that the brakes of the overloaded cement trailer was not functioning, the taxi swerved into the Use Offot modern market where the experienced
taxi driver who is a retired police van driver avoided everyone on sight till the taxi came to a stop.

The journey to this great achievement which culminated in the campaigns, debate and election was not an easy one. As a matter of fact, it could be likened to Nelson Mandela's long walk to freedom.
The journey started when three candidates
from the departments of Civil, Food and Mechanical Engineering by the names of Okim Anthony (South Boy), Alex Peters and Etimbuk Emmanuel Effiong (E-CUBE) decided to go toe to toe with each other as to determine who succeeds the then incumbent President, Senior Comrade Bassey Friday Bassey (Base B).
In what could be described as the most enthralling Students campaigns ever, the three contestants came out fierce against each other, though not physically but with proper calculations and strategic planning, they launched missile attacks at each other. Countering the other person's efforts, character assassination and mischievous sentiments for the purposes of self aggrandizement and victory became the other of the day and at some point, the students were confused on who to vote for.
