Object oriented programming should be applied when developing MVC applications, that doesn't mean who can't not use it for the slightest application you lay your hands on. The introduction of OOP was for large scale project development.

Back to my point, I provided that code for this dude who has limited experience in programming. I still use procedural from time to time. For DHTML to disclose he's not comfortable with procedural programming, then believe me, he's not worth to be named a programmer.
