@webdezzi You are very correct! Nothing is safe online (internet). I was reading a blog recently about flaws in DNS. I was astonished as to what became the outcome of this huge vulnerability. If name service is contagious, then the internet is not worth visiting (in my dreamz anyways). Folks, stuff is happening out there that is not visible to most People. NB: IF YOU HAVE COME ACROSS ANYTHING LIKE XP-POLICE ON YOUR COMPUTER. BEWARE IT IS A MALWARE!!! |

@yawa-ti-de My bad! Wasn't calm enough to take a look at your gender. I hope you understand i meant no harm whatsoever ~{} Regarding your post, I for one don't feel commenting should be regarded as an old-school concept. Why should we take the course of commenting out of our application? I still don't get it! My 2~cent |

Why not use a custom made IRC chat Interface like MIRC Do you really need to go through some java applet programming protocols for some people that doesn't get the value |

Hey folks I think we stressing what is needless here. @poster, please bear two things in mind. Seek professional advice before embarking so as to compare and contrast the price. Secondly, please for the sake of development, what ever your output may be, make sure it's worth it. Computers / Malware On Tribune.com.ng by nitation(m): 7:28am On Feb 07, 2009 |
Hi folks, I found something recently that kept me laughing for almost 26hrs. I know you probably guessing what that might be! I was lazy to work on my desk sometime last week, when i decided to read the latest from my Nigerian 'news-people', since we find it hard to buy international newspaper. The only option left is the I N T E R N E T. I opened the pages as usual in this order: www.sunnewsonline.com www.punchng.com www.thisdayonline.com & www.tribune.com.ng I got scared when www.tribune.com.ng finally opened with a message, , this website contain malware or is running a service that contains malware. My people, as the thing come tire me now, i say make i notify the developers. I decided to check their contact page for who to email as i wasn't ready to make an international call from my office [ the bill is killing ]. Then i came up with an email ******webmaster@yahoo.com As big as that company, na Y! dem take dey correspond. In fact, the editor too is using a free email service for their day to day act. I have a Proof of concept below. Also, i will be posting this on my blog soon as i am busy revamping~~ Later

Hi folks, From my view as a developer, I believe we need to stress the fact that most programmers in Nigeria do not consider security as the afore most requirement during their development stages. Let us give a break to indentation, commenting, functionalities , etcetera. The question we need to ask is: How secured is my latest application? What are the chances that the end users are protected? How long does it take for my server/network to be exploited? - How vulnerable is my program?? Folks, am a security professional and am certain about how unsecured most in house programs are in Nigeria. I don't wanna start pointing fingers, but i will give you an instance. Take a calm look at the attached image! [ Proof of concept ] My 2cent
