Portugal needs to find a way to create chances sha. They had lots of possession but very few chances created. The first goal was as a result of Ronaldo’s movement, the GK was deceived. Maybe Portugal is better at counterattacks. Lol! |

Joebayo217: Breaking :
Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal will have a meeting with the FA regarding the potential Apple take-over of Manchester United. Premier League clubs believe a new ownership that worth in trillions could harm the integrity and competitiveness of the most famous club competition in the world. West Ham, Leicester and apparently Newcastle also expected to join the consortium which will try & stop the FA from letting the Glazers sell the club to Apple Inc. which as of 2022 is the biggest multi-national company in the world with a market capitalisation of USD 3.3 trillion.[MEN] Lol, dem dey fear? E be like say this one wan pass Arab money o. Apple is sitting on close to $48 billion in free cash/liquid assets. The company needs to spend the cash. |

Might be a United legend to most of you. He's never been to me. I don't remember any of our legends that left the club before hitting their peak. Do you remember any of our legends that last won the ballon dor at United? Whether a player leaves on a high or low, situations surrounding his exit should not affect his unique and outstanding achievements for the club. Sorry, I forgot that you are a Messi fan. |

Expert17: Terminate the werey contract.
Can never be my GOAT I thought they said ‘mutual agreement’. I believe they settled on zero or an amount less than what he would have received if they had terminated his contract without an agreement. Thank God the drama is over. It’s the best for both parties. Going forward, we should avoid signing aged superstars. E no dey end well for us. |

The transfer didn’t make sense. We should stop signing mercenaries and relatively old players for any purposes.
Thank God this is all going away very very soon. Make we concentrate on the club. Ronaldo and all other superstars have lots of baggages that they carry around. |

patrickmuf: City were struggling to create chances until Haaland came on against Fulham...
Werner used to waste a lot of chances when he was at Chelsea but now is isn't there, they don't create quite as much...
A good striker with great movement will make some of those balls you consider useless, look good. Well, that’s if midfielders and wingers see the ‘good’ striker’s movements. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nitrogen(m): 1:07pm On Nov 08, 2022 |
eph12: The one I'm still confused about is the movement of the FB when the winger has the ball. Our wingers will always want to cut in, why don't the FBs make a run down the byline in anticipation of a pass. This will draw a defender away from the winger, and provide options for the winger. But no, they don't make those runs. Everyone wants to come inside to the midfield This! I don tire jare. There are so many things that non-professionals can see (based on years of watching football) and professionals/managers don’t even notice and/or don’t try to change. Maybe football is much more complicated than I think/believe. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nitrogen(m): 12:58pm On Nov 08, 2022 |
odizeey: It's common knowledge that we don't create enough. Our fullbacks don't even send in adequate crosses, although they are improving. We discussed how we could not play in crosses in that Sociedad game. Agree, fullbacks are sending in more crosses these days, but are the crosses decent? No. Dalot most times does too low or too high crosses. Also, our set pieces are shyte, especially corners. Eriksen would always do below average pieces. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nitrogen(m): 12:55pm On Nov 08, 2022 |
odizeey: The point is we are not creating enough chances. Our attackers are not that great. But it would have resulted to a lot of big chances missed if the chances were coming. Like you said, it's not black and white. When you watch the games you will have a clearer view. I don’t know why people think we create enough chances. We don’t, it’s there for everyone to see. Our wingers are useless. Bruno is the only one trying to do something with risky passes which is not what ETH likes. Eriksen is far too deep to create chances, our full backs are not putting in decent crosses, maybe Shaw is trying, Dalot is neither here nor there. Wingers no dey cross at all. |
