True. Unfortunately, we dont create quality chances when we have the ball. I think we are better off snatching the ball from the opponent in the midfield for a quick counter attack. That’s how we’ve scored most of our goals this season.

ETH needs to start showing us what he is made of abeg.

Newcastle did not come out in the last 15 minutes or so. Adding an attacker and removing Fred would have improved our chances. Fred is just a clumsy busy body. We should free the guy.

Anyway, I was expecting ETH to add another striker/winger to the mix instead of removing Ronaldo. We needed to have more numbers upfront. But we move!

We are really struggling, including against Yorupa teams. I know it’s still a bit early, but I am not sure we will make top 4, and it will be very painful.

The team is still learning. They can't become a team that dominates a solid team, not to talk of City after 12 months not to talk of 3. So what do we do in that time?

Then if we want to defend against big teams, forget about pressing from the front except in very rare cases when we are in front of their goal and we want to recover the ball before the opponent does a counter attack on us.

We defend, do low block and hope for the best upfront with our strikers preserving their energies. If our striker is pressing upfront with our current set up, na safe journey!

The main responsibility of the striker whose team is being dominated is to go sit on the bench and wait for some lucky break.

Top teams should not be dominated. If we want to play low block, and defend for our lives, then don’t expect strikers to press from the front. Everybody should just be behind the ball and do insha Allah football.

ETH needs to be very flexible o. We have plenty players, if some are not performing replace them. We cannot be doing McTom every match day.

True, if we were playing a high line, then the striker would have small ground to cover which is a different type of press. You can’t expect strikers pressing to not tire out easily with our type of football. You should blame the guy who gave our defenders instructions to chill thereby creating a gulf between the defence and attack.

All man u fans let all of us calm down. I know it is a big defeat for us. We have to understand this is football. Barca was disgraced 8-0 by Bayern Munich, Chelsea was also disgraced by this same man city 6-0,. We all just need to calm down. We have been winning all our previous matches. Do we know this beating make lead us to our first premier League victory in 10yrs. Everybody we just need to calm down, it is not end of the world. .

Conceding four goals twice in 7 EPL games is crazy! Does not make any sense no matter the level of work required to get the team to play well.
