Bruno is obviously wasted on the wings.
You can’t play 4-4-2 diamond with Shaw n AWB as full back. I think we are playing well, it's working |

CapitalCee: These Liverpool fans eeeh. How is Lovren the cause?
1st goal: a throw came into liverpool box, Deeney and Lovren contested the ball, both missed it, Dacoure ghosted in front of VVD, passed the ball from tight angle, with VVD guilty of clear ball watching, Sarr reacted quicker than Robertson to tap in. Lovren is absolutely not at fault. VVD and Robertson at fault.
2nd Goal: touchline scramble lead to a smart quick through ball by Deeney, Again VVD lost his man Sarr. He gave a chase but the Senegalese chipped Alisson. VVD was fully responsible for this one.
3rd goal: TAA gave a foolish backpass toward Aliison, Sarr read it and intercepted, with Allison off his post. Infact It was VVD that Sarr ghosted past to intercept the ball. He turned back to find Deeney who finished. TAA and to an extent VVD at fault.
Oga stop blaming Loveren your easy target.
TAA, VVD and Robertson were all more culpable than Loveren Thank you so much, analyses of all three goals show VVD as the common factor, folks in here continue to praise the guy every day, I mean, he is okay o, but not a great defender. I just watched the game again, and it is really difficult for me to mention one thing that VVD did in that game. |

Ibime: Are you waiting for final to be beasted before you know which defender is better?
My friend, you follow football on pages of newspapers. De Ligt would slap you if he heard you say he's been better than VVD any season in his career. Well, I watched De Ligt last season, he was better. He has just moved to Juve, of course, he needs to find his feet in a new environment. Meanwhile, why are you on De Ligt's case? I guess you are fine with the remaining four defenders, and I can assert that VVD is your number 5. |

CapitalCee: Mourinho, started coaching in year 2000, this is 20 years now. He won 2 UCL.
Ancellotti started in 1995, thats 25 years now. He won 3,
Pep has won 2 for 12 years now.
You fail to account that for the first 5 years of Fergie's reign, ENGLISH TEAMS WERE BANNED FOR 5 YEARS due to heysel disaster. And Fergie inherited a united team just not long out from relegation and is in the bottom half of the league. Fvck me, Mou started football management in 2002 (17 years ago), forget his 'very' brief stint at Benfica. Ancelotti started with Reggiana that spent very few seasons in Seria A, actually, their highest position was 13th, and that was in 1993/94. So, essentially Ancelotti started at Parma 23 years ago, and he won 3 UCLs in 23 years. Pep has done just 12 years, he has 2, and you forgot to mention Zidane (3 UCLs) and the other 14 managers that won 2 in less than 20 years. I like Fergie, I appreciate all he did for the club, but he was almost a local champion, as he could not win more UCL titles with the best English club in more than 2 decades, with all the consistency, wealth, power and control he had. 2/(27-4) is less than 3/23 and 2/17. |

Ibime: The irony of someone clowning VVD, then listing DeLigt as his top defender.
Have you seen DeLigt this season? Someone that lost his place in Juve team. But you saw him last season, right? De Ligt was better than VVD last season (at least, in the Champions League). Things might change this season, let's wait till end of May. |

eph12: Tough No now, if you find it difficult to comprehend simple sturvs, then we shouldn't be discussing. I dont need to break things down to you, I like Fergie a lot, of course, he has done well for United in the EPL but not in the UCL. You are saying that very few managers have won more than 2 UCL. Brah, this is not about effectiveness, but efficiency. You should consider the fact that someone spent about 30 years in a top EPL club to win 2 UCLs while it took others less than 20 years to win same number of titles. Waste of time and money, that's it. Anyways, it's all good, enjoy yourself. |

eph12: So no be only ball you no sabi, you no sabi book too. Read the question again Who tell you say I no sabi ball? Meanwhile, I didn't give you a direct answer, my message is, Fergie was not successful in the UCL, can you compare a manager that won 2 UCL titles in less than 20 years to another that won the same number of titles in close to 30 years? Of course, the latter was more successful in that competition than the former. Efficiency is what matters, so don't try to be smart. |

CapitalCee: The issue is, Herrera is at best a squad player in any serious team, i appreciate his passion and efforts, but he lacks quality Mctom is better than Herrera, infact, Perreira and Lingard are wayyyy better. You shouldn't be saying that he lacks quality, he was asking for more, he didn't get it and he decided to move on, simple! Anyway, na your way, as soon as we start seeing cracks again, you will conclude that Fred, Mctom, Martial and Rashford lack quality, while James that has done nothing in the last 7 months is a fantastic player. DeadPresidents: It's now bad to praise somebody that's doing good at the moment?
Wetin we no go see for this board? Well, maybe you commend a player, but don't say they are the missing link, a few weeks ago, majority said that the board is the problem, some (including myself) said it's the manager, how come only one signing has changed things, just like that? I hope not, but if things go the other way before May, Scholes will go on air and say stuffs about the players not doing well and the board and Woodie not doing their jobs of signing good players. My point is, let see real improvements before we start making assertions. |
