Ogini? To increase cases and deaths, then sell ventilators, masks, and others to our slow leaders on credit at a very high-interest rate, so unborn generations can pay dearly for today's foolishness............no way!

Let NCDC use zoom, skype and other video conferencing platforms for their meeting(s). Rubbish!

With the propensity for Nigerians to eat anything, we should go easy on knocking the Chinese. What is bushmeat but rats. Add lalasticlalas regular fp snake, monitor lizards, any strange creature that washes ashore, and we have our own Nigerian virus just t waiting to break out.
The difference is an average Chinese can eat uncooked or very wet animals, we typically overheat/cook, dry and fry stuffs we eat. I believe that viruses die when exposed to high temperature.

You can't fault people's culture and traditions though.

listen there is no way an asteroid would enter Earth's atmosphere at NIGHT and people wont see it...
Oga, no be Asteroid. Meanwhile, meteoroids enter the earth almost every week, most times, they burn offbefore hitting the earth surface. Very few hit the surface of the earth.

Danhumprey:
Won't a meteoroid leave lighting in its path as a result of the friction generated on its entrance to the Earth's atmosphere?
True, just that very few would have seen it happen, especially since none was expecting a meteoroid in Nigeria, also, it depends on when it happened and the literacy level of the people that saw it.

I am a geologist but I disagree with the prof on this.
He is right. Watch this, and compare with what happened in Akure. It was a meteoroid.

Almost similar to what is applicable in the US. Contributions are limited to 19.5K/ yr if you are under 50 and a max of 24.5K if you are 50 & above. Also, these amounts change every year and are determined by inflation, recession and other strong economic indices.
Early withdrawal will cost 10% and that excludes heavy taxes.
I have stopped looking at my 401K, it is in the hands of God at this point, thank God for diversification in investments.
Owing to crashing oil prices, impending recession in Nigeria and the exchange rates, I have changed my focus to funding one savings account in Nigeria because of the high interest yields. I tested my hypothesis after a month and I was right when I compared it to what other investments in Nigeria was yielding.
Don't do any naira investments, and instead of waiting for the stock market to bottom-out, target FGN Eurobond. You get to have your investment in USD and you will be earning above 10% interest rate per annum. There is huge pressure on our sources of revenue right now, therefore investors are pricing our Eurobonds at very high-interest rates. Infact, S&P downgraded our rating from B to B- very recently which is really bad for the country https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2020/03/28/sp-downgrades-nigeria-4-other-oil-producing-countries/.

If you are concerned about liquidity, just call Stanbic IBTC or InvestmentOne, tell them you want to invest in their USD mutual funds. The funds invest in FGN Eurobonds. When you are ready to exit, you just redeem your investment. That's it!

First post SAF player to score in 5 consecutive EPL games

Only Brian Kidd/ Rooney have scored as many goals in their first full season at United as a teen

First player since CR7 to score in both Manc Derbies

Since FA Cup debut he’s had the second most assists

But, they said he is lazy and useless!

When I was saying VVD is useless, una no allow person rest. Someone that will be telling Gomez to do all the dirty work, only thing he does is escort strikers.

I'd rather pick dirty defenders over a clean and useless "escort". Of course, VVD scores some goals, but the main responsibility of a defender is to defend, all other stuffs are "Jara".

The way the market climbed in the last 3 yrs have been almost MMM like, I still remember the trading levels of some stocks in 2017 and what they are going for in late 2019, At some time it made everyone look like a genius, just put money in the market and you are guaranteed returns.

Right now how deep the effect of the corona will be we never know, will it cause major job losses, will it affect the mortgage industry, will it cause 2008 level recession?

Many industries are feeling it, even some companies have put a pause on hiring

Na to just stock house with food and dey chop remain now
Yes, a recession is coming, central banks tried to avoid recessions in various markets by lowering interest rates, reason the stock market enjoyed huge returns. Unfortunately, coronavirus will get us back to the level where we were a year ago. Central banks will further reduce interest rates, but there won't be much impact unless a cure is found ASAP

Meanwhile, oil price war is another wahala. OPEC wanted to do production cuts to ensure supply matches the current level of demand, which will result in a sustainable oil price level (say about $50), but then, Russia has refused to cut production, Putin said that Russia can survive $20-$30 oil price level. This made Saudi become angry and they have decided to increase their production level. Right now, prices are between $32 and $36. We all know that very few economies will survive current oil price level.

The world is in deep sh1t.

It's fine, we know he does it easily against big clubs, he just needs to find a way to beat the smaller boiz.......and yes, that tactic isn't special, only that OGS knows how to execute it. And that's the only tactic he has.

You see ehn, I dont mind 30% possession against the big boys (Liverpool, City), we should just try to dominate and win games against smaller teams like Chelsea, Arsenal, Burnley etc.
