Politics › Re: My Discussion With A Government Contractor Who Wants GEJ Out - Agabai23 by nke001: 7:00pm On Feb 08, 2015 |
agabaI23: Yesterday evening I went to swim and I met a government contractor lodged in the same hotel.
He does not want GEJ back. His grouse with GEJ is that since he came, he is no longer making money the way he was making from contracts. He confirmed that though his money now comes straight into his account without interference, that he preferred the pre-Jonathan era when things were not as tight. That now, they check the validity of any contract before money is paid out and the guy dey fall hand for business.
Then I asked him what do you think in his performance in Agriculture(Adesina), he said he has done well I mentioned Aganga(Trade and investment) he said very well. he said NOI has done well too and went ahead to add the minister for works mike Onolememen. He said the man has done well too. Transport, he is impressed
And I asked, why won't you vote for him since you know all these? He said, he is not feeling him in his business. He wants things to go back to easier ways.
I told him about Sam Ohuabunwa's opening statement in his article where he said that good performance means different things to different people. He was a typical example of people who want him out because his reforms have reduced undue profit.
GEJ is fighting a hydraheaded monster. God is his strength @Ops, dont mind anyone saying u framed this story. Even top directors in federal establishments are complain that they find it hard nowadays siphoning money from the establishment since the introduction of direct payment. I put it to all nigerians that most civil servants and contractors are more corrupted than gej. |

cycline404: We have been crying we want change and some are saying the change we want is here already. The truth is that both GEJ and GMB WILL NOT change (talking of over 190million people). Even if everything is made free, corrupt leaders gone, economy improved and all we clamor for is given to us,WITHOUT me and you changing our attitude and behaviors,we will still make a mess of all we have.can I talk to you my fellow youth? We keep saying we have bad leaders, let me ask you:
1) in your family, how do you treat your parents?
2) in your locality, have you been singled out as one who fights a JUST CAUSE? Are you honest?
3) in business, how sincere are you or are you full of GREED?
4) in school, do you believe in bribing your lecturer to get a high score or you believe in reading and getting your grades?
5) in your place of work, do you sort your way to get PROMOTED or NOT? 6. When in charge of finance,do you handle it well, are you prudent and accountable? 7. When in power do you oppress people and above the law?
To the parents, 1.How do you treat that person serving or working for you. 2.Do you attach ethnicity and tribalism in all you do in your work place and social gathering? 3.Can you be fair in your judgement with out being partial. 4.Can you do business with the next person without thinking of how to defraud him? To the general public,do we adhere to simple traffic rules,do we follow instruction especially when in the bank or places like that without jumping lines. Do we have to bribe our way with the law enforcement agencies,or buy them over? Can we do without producing fake products or stop pirating an existing one?
You in the civil service, how many people have u denied their rights and promotion? how many times have u falsified your age just to be in service? how many times have u signed and defrauded the government funds just because of greed? how many innocent people have you accused. Lecturers are not spared either.
You that is a church leader or pastor, how many of your members have you deceived into giving their money, yet you havent stopped showing favoritism to the rich and mighty, neglecting the poor in your places of worship.
I can go on and on asking questions but let me stop there.... My point;
If you find it cool playing dirty in all you do and yet you want CHANGE, you are DREAMING. #IMUSTCHANGEFIRST#
The desired CHANGE starts with YOU...

Please this is something about my future (it's no joke), so I wouldn't waste my time and eventually become a cyber criminal. Every company that relies on online services needs that guy who can think and act like a white ha3kar-- For now, much cehs are not sorted for but in the next 10 - 20yrs, with wider broadband coverage nationwide, Nigeria will need ha3karz. As for the pay? I dont know. Just get certified in it as a minor course or a hobby.. CEH |

atlwireles: Related Stories PARIS (Reuters) - France has sent military advisers to Niger's southern border with Nigeria to help coordinate military action by regional powers fighting the Islamist group Boko Haram, a French army official said on Thursday.
The deployment was announced as warplanes pounded Boko Haram positions just over the border in Nigeria, a resident in the Niger town of Bosso said, and hundreds of Chadian troops massed at the frontier to prepare an attack.
Chad has sent about 2,500 troops as part of efforts to take on the militant group, which has intensified its fight to set up a breakaway Islamist state in Nigeria and has staged cross-border raids. Chadian troops crossed into Nigeria this week from Cameroon, on the southern side of Lake Chad.
A French army official told Reuters a detachment of about 10 military personnel had been stationed in Diffa at the request of Niger, its former colony.
"It is there to coordinate the armies on the ground in the fight against Boko Haram," the official said.
The African Union (AU) has authorized a force of 7,500 troops from Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Benin to fight the militants. It is expected to seek a United Nations Security Council mandate, which could also include logistical support from other countries.
A source close to the Niger government told Reuters on Thursday the parliament in Niamey would vote Monday to send its troops to Nigeria.
Nearly two years after a French-led operation liberated the north of Mali from al Qaeda-linked rebels, France has headquartered a 3,200-strong Sahel counter-insurgency force, Barkhane, in the Chadian capital N'Djamena, some 50 km (30 miles) from the Nigerian border.
It has also been operating reconnaissance missions near the Nigerian border and sharing intelligence with countries in the region, although it has ruled out direct military involvement for now.
Speaking at a news conference on Thursday, President Francois Hollande said Paris was also providing logistical and operation support, including by delivering fuel and munitions to countries fighting Boko Haram.
However, he said France could not be expected to get involved in every crises around the world and accused other major powers of inaction in Africa.
"This is a message to the international community and the biggest countries. Do your work! Stop giving lessons and take action!" Hollande said.
"In Africa, we have to help the Africans a lot more to fight terrorism, because if we do not then other countries will be destabilized," he warned.

You will know that their interest is first, they dont mind killing the locals. The Nigerian Armed Force is capable of ending the bokoharam ill activities, but what do you get when such is done--- cries of genocides lights the atmosphere of the world. Killing of terrorists is now genocide? Let us watch and how their NFT will kill the terrorists and the world not tag it genocide. I dont blame france and the west, ameriwca said Nigeria may divide come 2015. Are they not working towards it and people in the Northern region will just do any thing to discredit Goodluck. Watch out for more killer machines get rolled into your backyard then you will have no body to run but be at the mercy of the press just as in the case of the vetnam war. AU forces are more welcome to this fight than any military outside of this continent. They Dont Really Care About Us. |
