The hypocrisy is nauseating. Obidients are attacking Eric for using the police to harass and intimidate Chioma, yet they're using the same police to intimidate their opponents in a clearly civil matter. The same hypocrites are all over X defaming others. Deji Adeyanju has reacted... Let’s go together when you want to go. The same dirty obidient girl referred to here who cannot take small of the rubbish she dishes out has called me all type of names but I didn’t report her to the police but she has ran to the police instead of suing this man in a purely civil matter

Politics › Tinubu Has Failed To Favour Us And Our Families - Supporters Lament by NLCreator(op): 9:32pm On Mar 19, 2024 |
Farmers Movement for Jagaban 2023, a political support group that worked for the emergence of Bola Tinubu as the President of Nigeria has decried abandonment after the election victory.
The group accused the President of appointing members and supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party in positions to spite the supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
A statement on Tuesday by the group's National Coordinator, Rilwan Ahmed stated that the "Support Groups, PCC (Presidential Campaign Council) Members and foot soldiers of Asiwaju are not useless as you all may think."
Ahmed said that they had cooked and it would be a great sin to stop them from eating the food when it was ready.
He warned that another election is in three years and that they will remind everyone about President Tinubu's failed reward system.
The statement partly read: "President Bola Tinubu and his groups of Generals who had direct interactions with supporters and foot soldiers prior to his emergence as the candidate of our party and later president of Nigeria have all abandoned their now used and dumped supporters.
"Didn’t they say power corrupt absolutely? No wonder power has made them forget their much talked about reward system.
"(Abiodun) Faleke, (Simon) Lalong who were at the helm of the affairs of the presidential campaign, who directly worked with those supporters, who today have been neglected after much assurance during the eve of election deserve every shame Nigerians are directing to those neglected supporters.
"It is now of concern and more disgraceful that the generals who were directly interacting with the president and his supporters have been shielding its members from getting their rewards from President Tinubu.
"Our bamboo has worked and it is worrisome and disappointing that none of our known soldiers have been appointed into ministries, departments, and agencies. Even though we heard the ministerial list was for the highest bidder, reason we have the worst cabinet since 1999.”
The group described the situation as the handiwork of President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima “by their ways of determining who to appoint or not to appoint”.
It said, “The buck stops at their table and nobody should be blamed except them.
"It is very unfortunate that Faleke and Lalong who oversaw the activities of Support Groups and Presidential Campaign Council members are shying from pressing the reward system buttons, or has the sudden power let go of those buttons promised?"
The group also accused President Tinubu and Shettima of rewarding undeserving individuals and politicians who have no value.
It also slammed the President for allegedly appointing only people from Lagos, Osun, and Rivers states that embraced opposition parties and never delivered victory for his emergence. It said, "The percentages are for everyone to see. What a Shame?
"It is also thought-provoking seeing the president appointing members of the PDP and Labour Party to spite APC supporters because of Wike who never believed in this struggle during the pre-primaries, or was it not after he lost primaries to Atiku and was dropped as his running mate that he joined the struggle?
“He even boasted that he single-handedly appointed minister of petroleum and two other ministers.”
"I think Wike will deliver Nigeria to him in 2027," Ahmed said. "The same President went to Kaduna during a campaign to beg Mallam to work with him after the government was formed. He turned around to disgrace the same man that took a bullet for him during the election to the extent that northern leaders challenged his audacity and called him out but stuck to Asiwaju. What went wrong with our beloved Asiwaju
"Many may be surprised that 90 percent of those who worked for Tinubu’s success are children of nobody that also like to become somebody without knowing anybody. The slogan then was that Asiwaju rewards loyalty.
"We’ve seen sons and daughters of president’s friends being appointed into political offices they never worked for, or who would tell us where they were when we were all tussling under the sun and in the rain for Asiwaju’s victory.
"Support Groups, PCC Members, and foot soldiers of Asiwaju are not as useless as you all may think. We have cooked and it will be a great sin to stop us from eating from the food we have cooked.”
"Election is in two years and we will remind everyone about your failed reward system," the statement partly read. https://saharareporters.com/2024/03/19/tinubus-support-group-laments-neglect-being-used-and-dumped-warns-another-presidential |

Politics › My Turn Will Soon Come: Garba Adamu Tells Tinubu To Enjoy Amid Nepotism Claims by NLCreator(op): 12:07pm On Mar 15, 2024 |
I’ve been inundated by calls and text messages, WhatsApp messages that Tinubu is only appointing Yoruba people, everything is Yoruba etc,
Another one is he’s only appointing sons and daughters of his friends like Bisi Akande, Ganduje, Abu Ibrahim etc, it has become a Padi Padi government bla bla bla.
Fact is, most of these people complaining, non of them contribute as half as I did for the campaign for President Tinubu. I used my personal resources, stake my integrity, made commitments to my followers, was called names, including brainless with many insulting memes, but i haven’t got any serious recognition. Am I complaining? NO. But why?
The truth is, Nigeria is united country with different sensitivities. Over time, the Presidency reflects mostly people from the region of the President. Check the Obasanjo regime, it was mostly his own people. Same complaints most people did today of Yorubanization was same during President Obasanjo.
Check Late President Yar’adua, it was same thing, Katsinawan Dikko all Over, even President Jonathan was accused of Ijaw domination. It was same during the last President Buhari, it was run like a northern affair.
You see, collectively we Nigerians supported and voted for President Tinubu, we must trust him to give us the best, and he cannot do so with multiple distractions. I am a realist. This Presidency is for the South West, let the South West do it’s Presidency in peace.
The sons and daughters he appointed, or the Yorubas he appointed, are they not all Nigerians? Haven’t they qualified? When they want to deliver their mandate, do they do for Nigeria or their people only? Can we help and track them to see if they are doing the right things? And if they failed, can we jointly commit to exposing their failures before the world to see?
As I said before, I am one of the most insulted person during the campaign for Tinubu’s Presidency, I fight on media and many places, against many people who today, suddenly changed themselves and start backing the President after he formed a government, I was regularly mocked by those in the opposition and even my family are questioning WHY, yet I don’t complain. And I still support the President 100%.
Some people said I’m too ambitious, that giving me some big appointment in the government may elevate me to do great things and move me toward my ambition to be the President one day, how naïveté?
So ambition na crime?
My ambition still remains very much alive. I’m not too ambitious to block other people’s ambitions but not less ambitious to kill my ambition. All I know the that everyone will run run and run, and will still eventually leave the road where others can continue to run over. If they are smart to fight me for my ambition, I’m smart enough to be patient. I’ll wait for my time.
I’ve faced worst under Buhari, where some people think that to only have a picture with the former President would make me a President, ahead of them. Where are they today? Is the government not over? I’m just 41 and I will wait for my time.
While I wait for my time, i know that now it’s President Tinubu’s time, and I want him to have his eight years in peace. Why don’t you support him, and if you must criticize, do so on the quality of his delivery and not his choices of appointments?
Granted, some appointments are painful, especially on those whom you know are from the opposition party, but then, what if it was done for the strategic interests of the President?
This country is ours, we don’t have any country to go to. It doesn’t belong to the North or the South or the East or the Wsst. It belongs to all of us. But is is turn by turn, and as God would have it, it is the turn of the West and the touch landed on Tinubu. Can you fight God’s will?
Let us United our forces in support of the government we work hard for and ensure the President succeed. His success is a collective success of all our country people
Allow President Tinubu to enjoy is full time jare.

Politics › Experts Accuse Erisco Foods Of Violating Labeling, Other Regulations by NLCreator(op): 12:19pm On Mar 14, 2024 |
ON ERISCO FOODS TOMATOES PASTE AND TOMATOES MIX
PART 1.
Upon the breaking news of Chioma's @EriscoOfficial Ganiko Tomatoes Mix sàga sometimes last year, and as a food & Beverage specialist, product/packaging developer, a certified QC person of over 33 years in the industry, I picked up interest in the matter. I searched my home thoroughly if I could lay my hands on a sample. From cartons for bulk culinary items in the kitchen's Store room to kitchen cabinets, none and kitchen refrigerator, none. The day after, I decided to drop by at a popular grocery store with multiple outlets (name withheld) to pick up a number of the product as samples for personal observation.
My findings comfirmed Chioma's fear.
Although at some point in 2023, @NAFDACAGENCY spoke out "lazily" in defense of Erisco to affirm that sugar is a permitted food preservative and may (optional) be used in tomatoes paste production both to mask the bitter taste (perceived) of concentrated raw tomatoes paste and as a preservative. However, NAFDAC failed to specify the sugar content (w/w%) which they themselves do not have it in their SOP except as recipé handed to them by the manufacturers in most cases.
My findings are: 1. Yes, it may (sugar) be used as a preservative, did Erisco Food keep to Codex Alimentarius Standards, which is the ultimate authority in Food and processed food matters? This is no proximate analysis information to that on the product label.
2. On the ingredient section of the label, there are no disclosure of sugar both for Ric-Giko and Nagiko Tomato Mix. It still have some tins and sachets of production batches of 2023 untouched. This is completely wrong and it is a violation of labeling regulation on food products. @EriscoOfficial, @NafdacAgency, and @SONNigeria are to blame for this professional error and regulatory lapses. In comparison, Sonia Tomatoes Paste (a competitor's brand) not only made a disclosure of sugar on their ingredients list section on the label but also placed an Allergen Caution warning for Soy in case you are allergic to soy product. Other brands such as Gino and Tasty Tom has sugar on their ingredients list.
3. Nagiko and Ric-Giko made a claim of "100% Natural" on their label with photo of tomato fruits. This simply give impression of these products being derived from 100% fresh farm natural tomatoes fruits only. Whereas, on the same label section of these 2 brands, 28-30% minimum tomato concentrate was written meaning about 70-72% are other food additives other than tomatoes fruits. If NAFDAC confirm that sugar (though not on product label) and it is safe, one can now conclude that the remaining 70-72% is water, salt and sugar. The product being a paste which means less water, one could then guess what percentage will be sugar and salt. Was this the reason why sugar is missing on the ingredients list?
4. Water, Salt and sugar (disclosed) can not be constituents of the remaining 70-72% (w/w), that is not Tomatoes content. As a food specialist, I know this and @NafdacAgency, @nafdacnigeria & @DGatNAFDAC should know better. Why did @EriscoOfficial failed to fully disclose all ingredients in its its Tomatoes Paste/Mix? Aside other than: 1.Conentrate Tomatoes (28-30% Min). 2.Treated Water and 3. Salt only.
Are there no food coloring, food thickener, acid regulator(s) or emulsiier..? Again this is a violation of food labeling rule. Other brands such as Sonia, Gino & Tasty Tom put out full ingredient list on their products. Was this deliberate and intentional to enable Erisco Tomatoes to be labeled "100% NATURAL"?
To Gino, Tasty Tom, Sonia and other tomatoes paste/mix manufacturers, I challenge you to toll the path of Erisco Foods by indication percentage of tomatoes concentrates in your products.
ON ERISCO FOODS TOMATOES PASTE AND TOMATOES MIX
PART 2.
On the No 2 finding, however, it should noted that non-disclosures of products composition of processed food on food labels to consumers is a "professional crime" that is "killing" and it can actually lead to physical death by unassuming comsumer. This is where Erisco Foods violated the rules in the first instance. @NAFDACAGENCY @fccpcnigeria @NPF_NCCC @AmnestyNigeria @PoliceNG @PoliceNG_CRU and @PrinceMoye1 should take note. Erisco Foods needed to be sanctioned for this violation.
The Nigeria Police Force should know better based of the result of their cybercrime investigation carried out on Chioma. The liability of the "social group" she belongs. It is therefore the right and the perogative of the Erisco Foods to seek for justice if they are perceived to be unjustly slandered and violated. However, assuming, but not conceding that whatever word Chioma must have used in her Facebook post could mean "killing" by the prosecution team, she is still right in many ways. She did not say that the product has killed alreay. So, no need to produce dead body as evidence on her part.
a. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary (1828) the word "killing'' could mean" extremely difficult to deal with" Example - Basketmouth jokes are killing. This statement does not mean that jokes by Basketmouth has killed.
b. Assuming Chioma or any member of her family she used Nagiko Tomato Paste to cook for is DIABETIC. Would that not have been injurious to her health or to such her family member? Will she not the right for her to use the word "killing''? Can her continuous consumption as a diabetic person of such unsuspecting food substance because of non-disclosure on the food label lead to death?
If a consumer is allergic to a food substance, can his/her accidental or continuous exposure to that allergen lead to death expecially when such individual failed to use the antidote?
Today, there are many medically established and recognized allergens that are day-to-day food substances. Examples are: 1. Soy - from soyabeans 2. Lactose-milk sugar 3. Gluten - from wheat grains/flour in bread. 4. Crustaceans - prawns, lobsters, crabs 5. Eggs 6. Peanuts.... Mere accidental injection as food of any of these could lead to a life-threatening medical condition or even death depending of level of intolerance of such person.
These are just preliminary findings without the use of laboratory chemical, microbiological and pesticide residual analytical methods of Erisco Foods Tomatoes products.
To all consumers out there, kindly take out time to go through food labels before purchasing or use. The information there are very important and not just for aesthetic purposes. This is also applicable to other items such as cosmetics, drugs and house hold items.
Chief Eric Umofia @EriscoOfficial, @EriscoFoodsLtd is a senior colleague who has invested a lot in the industry expecially in the challenging manufacturing sector here in Nigeria and also employer of labor should seek for amicably resolution to this case. The trial and conviction of Chioma and the 3 years jail term if at all it will happen can only bring paint the image of the company and it's brand dimmer in the public opinion expecially that the case is already attraction national and international attentions and outcry.
An out of court resolution where there will neither a Victor or a vanquished is what is needed at this point.
To the PR team, Chief should be encouraged and convinced to take on this honorable path rather than seeking for a mere three years conviction conviction. If the outcry before trial/conviction could be this loud and deafening, imagine what will happen IF there was to be a conviction. This should be your primary objective as it stand.
ON ERISCO FOODS' TOMATOES PASTE /MIX AND CHIOMA PART 2 (END)
And to everyone out there, this is NOT about product boycott but about corrections that needed to be made by all stakeholders in the Food & Beverages Industry.

Politics › Erisco: Chioma Paid NlCreator - Madridguy Falsely Claimed (Pix) by NLCreator(op): 2:01pm On Mar 13, 2024 |
Madridguy falsely accuses NlCreator of collecting money from Chioma. Ironically, this same freedom Madridguy enjoys while making such a baseless claim, he wants to deny Chioma of it. He wants Chioma jailed for making a review about an Erisco Foods product. madridguy: NLCreator, I think it is better you refund Chioma before it is too late. Maybe you don't know the genesis of the whole saga, I've helped you with some attachment that will help you better. https://www.nairaland.com/8028991/reno-omokri-tinubu-supporters-alpha#128916107SUMMARY OF THE CASE(For those who haven't been following, read the summary of the Erisco vs Chioma case below) ● Eric, founder of Erisco Foods, acknowledges the presence of sugar in the tomato mix Chioma reviewed, suggesting, "You can add water and use it to eat bread." He draws a comparison between the tin tomato mix and "butter" and "jam." Given that jam often contains high levels of sugar, it's understandable why Chioma voiced her concern. ● This comparison has prompted some analysts to raise questions regarding false advertising and lack of information. Notably, the amount of sugar added is unspecified, and there's no nutritional breakdown available. Additionally, the use of a personified image of a tomato chef preparing a meal with the tomato mix jam raises further concerns. Moreover, critics argue that the '100% natural' label on Erisco canned tomatoes, tomato mix, and tomato pastes is vague and misleading. ● Chioma faces accusations of violating the Cyber Crimes Act 2015 for stating that the product is killing people. However, some analysts have disputed this claim, suggesting it's an assumption rather than a fact. They point out that Chioma used "ki***ing," an 8-character word, while "killing" is only 7 characters long. Therefore, according to these analysts, it's inappropriate to impose an assumption on a vague word, especially in a case involving a criminal offense that requires evidence 'beyond reasonable doubt'. ● Nevertheless, others argue that even if "killing" was intended, it still doesn't justify the intimidation. They contend that the word strongly emphasizes concerns about the potential negative health effects of consuming such a sweet product. Additionally, section 24 of the Cybercrime Act 2015, which Eric and the police are relying on, is controversial, as it has been declared null and void by the ECOWAS court. Ribadu has also pledged that the law will be reviewed. However, while Eric and the police are entitled to test it in Nigerian courts, they should refrain from intimidating and bullying the pregnant mother and allow the court to perform its duty. ● The Federal Competition & Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has declared Chioma didn't violate any known extant law. ● Some Nigerians have pledged to boycott all Erisco Foods products until founder Eric and the police cease their bullying and intimidation of Chioma Okoli. ● In response, Eric hired a PR agent, Cornel Osigwe, to counter the backlash. However, the reaction Cornel received was not what he had anticipated. ● Consequently, some 'oyinbo' individuals with Igbo names were 'invited' to post positive reviews on Erisco Foods' official website. This action sparked nationwide condemnation, with almost everyone from both sides denouncing the reviews as fake. Some even ridiculed Eric for disregarding genuine negative reviews from real people in favor of computer-generated fakes. Eventually, the 'oyinbo' pictures were taken down after the public outcry. ● Acting on alleged orders from Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, policemen raided Okoli's residence in Lagos State. ● Amnesty International has condemned the harassment and intimidation of Erisco female customer Chioma Okoli. ● Some women staged a solidarity walk for Chioma Okoli at Erisco Foods' office in Lagos. ● Meanwhile, a few days after Cornel Osigwe revealed that Erisco Foods founder, Eric, had hired PR agents, posts supporting Eric's actions against Chioma began to emerge. Currently, it's unclear which posts are sponsored, such as the funny 'oyinbo' reviewers with Igbo names, and which are genuine. ● Reno Omokri asserted that 'If anybody is guilty of undermining his reputation and that of his products with lies, that person should go STRAIGHT to jail, pregnant or not!' ● For LegendHer0, the whole situation isn't worth the trouble, all because of "one babe." ● Tochj agreed with LegendHer0. "Because of one woman," it's not worth it. The Nairaland 'Alpha Male' wannabes reasoned. ● Madridguy labeled the millions of Nigerians calling for justice as a "bunch of headless mob." ● Nairaland, Mynd44, Seun Osewa, Nlfpmod, and Fergie001 are seemingly ignoring threads from Amnesty International, David Hundeyin, etc., regarding the matter.
