Atleast he tried something he believed in...what have you tried based on your believe?...just going to church and practising the opposite I guess.

He maimed his right arm for peace to be restored on earth. Is that peace restored? NO!! Which indicates that he blindly practiced his own belief that has no logical basis. That arm would have been strategically utilized better in another way to bring peace, even using it to write the least article of peace to the world.

The people inventing and producing war missiles are not doing so by getting their arms maimed/useless. They are doing it with their brain, IQ and full functioning arms. With their brain and IQ, their own war belief comes to manifestation. Their own belief works but this old man, his belief didn't work because he didn't use his IQ to pursue his aim so it's ended up a mere superstition put up by him.

Better results could have been achieved towards his aim had it been he formed a peace movement and keeps recruiting people who advocate for peace into the peace movement year by year. The movement would have been a multi million members movement by today that may even give birth to so many other peace movements across the world.

All I see in him is an attention seeker.

So, disparity is natural in living things bro.

Same thing applies to our leaders and that is why they don't care about Nigeria because they go to office (that is Nigeria) only to make the money, after they gather the money from the office, they spend the money arranging and tidying their homes in UK. Many people will keep on using one chair in their office for years even after it is worn out BUT will quickly mend or replace the chairs in their home immediately it is dainty.

So in the case of our leaders, Nigeria is their office while UK, U.S, Switzerland, etc is their home. Same applies to many wealthy Nigerians in this country. That is why all their children are home outside Nigeria while they themselves are in the office (Nigeria) making the money to send home.

SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM:
It should be provided in the Nigeria constitution that a certain number of years should be attached to every political seat in the country from the Federal government level (Executive, Legislature and Judiciary), to the state level (Executive, Legislature and Judiciary) down to the Local government level (Executive, Legislature and Judiciary) during which the person on seat will not be allowed to leave the country for any reason whatsoever after his or her tenure.

It is not infringement of the person's freedom of movement because soldiers in the Army go through same during their service period. Soldiers go only where they are permitted to go and when a soldier goes otherwise, it is seen as sabotage or treason which at times if such otherwise movement looks suspicious warrants the death penalty on the faulting soldier.

The Legislature----7 years
The Judiciary-----5 years

STATE LEVEL
The Executive-----10 years
The Legislature----7 years
The Judiciary-----5 years

LOCAL GOVERNMENT LEVEL

When the person on seat knows that he will not be allowed to travel outside the country for certain number of years for him not to utilize the quality medical facilities in those countries, he will be forced to provide them in his own country because he won't want to gamble on his own life.

Mind you, some Nigerians working abroad are working there because they need an economy where their savings will not be depreciating in value due to poor economy rather where their savings will remain of value and keeps appreciating and increasing over Naira after which they will later come back to Nigeria, with the huge sum saved, they will open their business/office here in Nigeria and utilize Nigeria's large population and unstable currency to expand their business. Simple wisdom.

While some people, when they travel out, they get carried away by the buzzing lifestyle there. They will want to buy and put on every clothes and shoes they see over there thereby having little or no savings over the years to bring down to Nigeria as business capital. For instance, in about every 2 months. they will buy 3 pairs of jeans trousers at once for about 150 dollars each, amounting to 450 dollars and you know the value in Naira, added to other things they will still buy to keep up to the city life. Same thing happens to some people living in the cities here in Nigeria. Show-off of the city life has made them not be able to boast of a single block talk more of a zinc house built by them.
