Job Description

Invensys Operations Management (IOM) is a FTSE 250 company who provides products, services and solutions for the automation and optimization of plant operation and is at the forefront of technological innovation. We serve process industries such as oil and gas, hydrocarbons, chemicals, power and utilities, metals and mining, and also the discrete and hybrid manufacturing sectors such as pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare and life sciences. Due to a resignation in our team in Nigeria, we are now seeking an exceptionally talented HR Business Partner.

 

Role Purpose

This role is focused on providing HR leadership and solutions to Business and Functional Leaders and on partnering leaders to develop business strategies and aligning HR practices in order to deliver organisational goals. Responsibilities will include the application of Companywide polices, practices and programmes in regard to executive coaching, workforce planning, change management and strategy development.

 

Key Responsibilities
•Works closely with line management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, translating, at the business unit, the business strategy and objectives into goals, plans and tactics that are aligned with business imperatives, while assuring compatibility with enterprise values.
•Applies processes to develop an accurate picture of leadership talent and development requirements and ensure execution of agreed talent development plans, ensures effective application of succession planning and career development tools, provides leadership to help define talent needs, recruit and retain talent.
•Key facilitation role related to significant business cycles such as Strategic Annual Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Goal Deployment, Deep Dives and Operations Review.
•Establishes and plans for future organisational capabilities and staffing requirements, while assists senior management in the development of i) solutions through organisational development/alignment ii) cultural and process-oriented perspectives.

Critical Prior Experiences
•Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Senior HR Generalist who has demonstrated success in generalists roles helping to align human resources planning and business strategy.

The names are out on nafdac website. Only 999 people were shortlisted for oral interview and my name was there!!!!

The irony of it all is that I got a job somewhere else and my induction and training is the same time with nafdac interview. I really want to work with nafdac but whats the guarantee that I'll get the nafdac job after taking the risk and attending the interview? I think a bird at hand is worth more than twice in the bush. Or what do you think? I need your advice.

WORK BASE: Lagos

JOB SUMMARY: Support the development of print and online advertising for Etisalat Nigeria products and services

Principal Functions
•Ensure that all Etisalat Nigeria advertising deliverables are in line with the brand image, guidelines and communication strategy
•Ensure that branding visibility is appropriate to the occasion at all Etisalat Nigeria events
•Liaise with internal customers – receiving briefs and requests to ensure that all departmental requests are responded to in a timely and satisfactory manner
•Liaise with external vendors (advertising agencies, print production companies and online vendors) to ensure brand fidelity and adherence to standards
•Conceptualize and develop multimedia advertising of all Etisalat Nigeria campaigns for online deployment

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fine Art or the Humanities
•Relevant post-graduate qualifications/ professional certifications may be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
•Between 1 – 3 yrs directly relevant post-NYSC work experience, in an advertising agency or telecoms business environment
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office – in particular, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
•Demonstrable expertise in graphics and multimedia software – including Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash, Adobe Dreamworks and Adobe Fireworks
•Proven excellent knowledge of advertising and marketing communications best practices

It’s a free world. I wish you all the best and would also like this NNPC stuff to speedily come to an end with testimony. Everyday I see lots of folks looking for job and many even looking for their daily bread.
I know that when this recruitment comes to an end with offer letter s, lots of peeps would change job, some would get their 1st job, and while other would create space in their current job they are tired off: as others are also praying to be in their shoes.
