I have seen peeps at few interview dressed on Native and Fila. It was years back at NNPC and NOTORE final interviews. Then I wanted a career path change. I personally feel it's ok. And ask all HR peeps here to always allow such people in instead of barring them from been interviewed! The company may loose a very good and resourceful personnel just by turning them back. In both occasion I was dressed in my best swedish designer suit yet didn't get the job as I was termed "over qualified" |

This is normal. Ameachi normally walks and drives himself in PH, and during his 1st Tenure he was popular on PowerBike. He prevented gas (fuel) stations from selling Higher price like they did in neighbouring states (Abia, Ebonyi etc) by visiting them impromptu! Even when he moves with escorts, he still drives himself. I guess he changed when aso rock moved to his state ![]() |

Moyosoreola:Moyo... you have been given lots of advice : mine is take the job, because I am 200% sure that if that so called Indian firm puts up that job ad for no salary, the role would be filled in hours! I also know that if you concentrate and learn a lot in the 1st 6 month, and write 2 exams ( CCNA, ITIL or SECURITY etc) in the other 6 months you would standout in your next Job interview as you would have improved both in soft skill and technical. Let's look at it this way; suppose you reject this offer and keep applying and never get called for job test/interview until a MOBIL Graduate Job is advertised in Dec 2015? If you are interviewed with this 6month experience ( Plus networking training and certification) with the Indian firm or NO Experience at all, which do you think MOBIL would likely employ? Even without learning anything in the Indian place, the fact that you are working would make you attractive to employers and you as an individual would have a bold attitude(confidence) and would not be (or look) too desperate for the job! During my time over 12 years ago, the firm wasn't willing to pay up to that and I happily took it...I also happily took off to their client after a few months and some certification.( looking back now, I was even over busy working when one of the client rep tapped me and told of an opportunity and asked if I was interested? The pay raise was so much that I resigned from my new role.....LOL). NO STOPPING, KEEP MOVING...... |

OP am sure peeps advising you to stay on Contract have NEVER done contract job. Or never moved from a contract role to perm! There are only few occasions when one can take a contract job; 1. When you are Jobless 2. When retired 3. Maybe leaving a less paid contract to a higher one. 4. When it's a career role in well establish place with higher possibility of been made perm! From experience I would advised you to even go for the loan Officer even if it's 4Ok, ie less than BVN whatever! Are you aware you can apply for loan officer even in other banks or even Oil company in a just few months time? But am sure in 10year no bank would want to employ as a full BVN whatever. Also I can assure that if you work averagely on both job, you just might still be a BVN in 10years time, while am sure you would not be a loan officer in the MFB as you would have been promoted more than 3X. DO NOT think about it move NOW. I was favour and Blessed to escape contract job and same role after almost 10year at one role!! |
If she went for a legitimate reason, then she should face the reason and normally wouldn't need an agent! People have said it on NL over a 100 times that it's best you secure a job before going over these else you would have "stories that touch the heart"! |

But the once of these days sound more than guns! I know for sure since I was a kid Government had alway placed a ban and people sell but not at current rate. I saw peeps hawking giant ones( those that look like semi space luncher) on lekki ajah express road! And when I got caught on traffic I asked one of the hawkers how he managed to be selling contraban openly. He answered me saying " bros no be me import am or allow am enter 9ja o, even Fashola dey use am, if u want buy talk" |
