Just read this and I'm stunned and flabbergasted. Someone please tell me this is made up as I don't even want to believe it.

Muhammad’s Demon: He Originally Thought He Was Possessed
normal_Islam_Mohammed_1

The Muslim religion originated in the mind of a man named Muhammad. He appears to have been plagued by demons from very early in his life. Robert Payne was an historian of the mid-20th century whose impeccable credentials make his documented accounts of the invention and spread of Islam impossible to deny with any sincerity of protest.

The Childhood Demons

In his work titled, “Holy Sword: The Story of Islam from Muhammad to the Present,” (Copyright owned by Payne, 1959) he provides hundreds of pages of detail, documentation and historical data. In his chapter titled, “The Messenger of God,” he sites pro-Islamic sources and the accounts of faithful friends of Muhammad while describing the birth and early life of Muhammad. In his detailed account of the visions that Muhammad claimed to have experienced which led to the creation of a new religion called Islam, Payne tells us that these experiences had Muhammad and others very close to him convinced that he was under demonic influence! We quote Payne:

“Muhammad was about five years old when he suffered the first of the strange visitations which came to him at intervals throughout his life.

“He was walking in a field with one of Halima’s sons when he suddenly fell down, shouting as he sprawled on the ground that two men in white garments were splitting open his belly and stirring it up.

“Asked what happened, he spoke of two angels who had cut open his belly, searching for something, though he did not know what it was. The shepherd was afraid he was possessed by a devil and said he should be returned to Mecca before his malady became the talk of the town.” 1 (Emphasis Ours)

In the life of Jesus, the Pharisees dropped the accusation that he “had a demon” but not because Jesus appeared to be demon-possessed. There were no demonic visions in the life of Jesus. Jesus never writhed in agony claiming angels were torturing Him.

The accusation from the Pharisees came simply as a result of what Jesus TAUGHT. And they thought that if they used scare tactics, people might run from Jesus. But their accusation was so stunningly empty, that even those of their own ranks said, “There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?” (John 10:19-21, kjv)

We would do well to note that not only did Muhammad resemble those who Jesus cast demons out of, but that Muhammad never once healed a blind man or made a lame man to walk. Muhammad was not a man of miracles. But, as we shall see, he was a man of murder and mayhem.

The Adulthood Demons of an Illiterate, Suicidal “Prophet”

The childhood demonic visions continued in the life of Muhammad right into his adult life. It was at this time that he refers to the visions as being “great” and upon which he would base many of his new doctrines and practices in the new religion that he was inventing. There was a problem, however. Muhammad was ILLITERATE. He could not read or write. But, conveniently, he had a vision in which he was supposedly given the supernatural ability to read.

Again, we quote Payne:

“As Muhammad told the story of his first great revelation, he was lying asleep or in a trance, wrapped in his cloak, when he heard a voice saying: “Read!” He answered: “I cannot read” The voice said again: “Read!” He answered: “I do not know how to read.” Once more, this time with terrible force, the voice said: “Read!” He answered: “What can I read?” The voice thundered:

Read in the name of your Lord, the Creator, Who created man from a clot of blood! …” 2

Whoever this visitor was, he was speaking falsehood. Was man created from “a clot of blood”? Absolutely not. Genesis 2:7 (kjv) clearly says, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground…” This is scientifically verified. Man is made of the same composition of a hand of dirt. You basically take the chemicals and minerals of dirt, add water and you have a man…if God is the chemist, of course.

Payne continues:

“He read the words, though he had never read before,…
“Trembling, he went out of the cave onto the hillside, not knowing what had happened to him, and afraid he must be a sha’ir or possessed.” 3

How convenient that he could read during this vision. And how strange that he would come away thinking that he was DEMON POSSESSED. You will never find an example of a prophet of God receiving a message from God only to wonder if he was full of the devil. But Muhammad was so convinced of the fact that he was possessed by demons that he contemplated suicide! Payne explains:

“He was in such agony of mind that he thought of throwing himself off a precipice, and then he heard a voice form heaven saying, “O, Muhammad! You are Allah’s messenger, and I am Gabriel!” 4

Who is this “Gabriel”?

One thing is for certain, this was not the Gabriel who announced the birth of Jesus Christ (Luke 1:26-27). The Biblical Gabriel would never have uttered false information (ie., “from a clot of blood”) and would never point the world to “Allah’s Messenger”. Gabriel is the messenger of Jesus Christ.

But the Bible does tell us that Satan and fallen angels do visit people and pose as something they are not. The apostle Paul warned, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:13-14, kjv)

Could it be that Satan posed as Gabriel, possessing Muhammad and creating a false religion that would damn it’s followers to an eternal Hell and cause the murder of millions of Jews and Christians over the past 1400 years?

Muhammad The False Prophet

As a result of these and other “visions”, Muhammad would tell his hearers that they should junk their idols (as he did in Mecca) and the God of the Bible (as he did in Yathrib) and follow only Allah. Ironically, the TRUE prophet called Moses warned of men like Muhammad who would come on the scene to deceive people.

Moses said, “If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. (Deuteronomy 13:1-3, kjv)

Muhammad flunked the test.

The entire faith is limited to one book

a Muslim is to take this one man’s word

Have you read about what happened when he got the calling?

Fabrication and a lot of plagiarism is what all this is about.

He also believed he was poessed by a demon. Those in the know might share more light into this....

Apparently Quran 5 vs 32 is the most quoted lol

Just googled it....

http://www.answeringmuslims.com/2010/05/quran-532-nazam-and-neglecting-context.html?m=1

Next verse chapter 5:33
The punishment of those who wage war against God and His Apostle, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter.

Thank google, not me

The quran says:
"...If anyone kills a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all people. And if anyone saves a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all people" (Qur'an 5:32).
And
"...Take not life, which God has made sacred, except by way of justice and law. Thus does He command you, so that you may learn wisdom" (6:151)

Anyone who doesn't adhere to this is not following the rulings of the Quran.

I understand that Quran 5:32 was for Jews and not the Muslims. Basically warning the Jews etc. but now the mudlims quote it as if it was meant for them when it suits them. But it was a stark warning that if you spill obe Muslim blood hmmm!!!

On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone slew a person - unless it be in retaliation for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew all mankind: and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all humanity.

You should face the facts, the prophet was about peace, you should read up instead of believing everything you hear. He only went to war after he was attacked first and his people were being killed. He did nothing bout preach for peace. I believe in peace as well. Killing cannot be justified.

Well Jesus never went to war, even when being crucified. Do you see the difference? Now you see when these terrorists are doing what they're doing. Following in the footstep of a warrior. So makes perfect sense to me.

No sir, wasn't me! cheesy

I have stated my position; Miracles are still with us but they are far much rare than purported
I have shared one
Here is something I have observed; seldom do skeptics witness miracles. I mean the rabid antitheist guy who demands a one-on-one Damascus experience is more likely to perish in their stubbornness

Miracles do not provoke faith in the haughty and the wicked, they increase their hardness just like Pharaoh. But for believers, they increase your faith.

There is a difference between seeking miracles so that you may believe and seeking them because you are a believer. Where do you fall?

Whether I believe or don't believe is irrelevant. What is a fact is that most so called miracles are not. Most can't be proven and most pastors and congregations tell bare face lies and claim miracles deceiving themselves and others in the process.

There is everything personal because the lady is not some faceless person like you but a close friend and a then colleague.

I was not doing Sirjohn sleuthing, I never visited her gyaena nor obtained receipts and other evidence of her past medication. I just went to the word of God and sought to encourage her 'friend' who was really waiting on God for fruit of her womb. I gathered the verses prayerfully, shared with her and forgot about it. Around 7 months later she proceeds on Maternity leave and nothing registered on my mind. She delivers and finishes her leave. After resuming work she tells me that they were the ones looking for a child for 5 years and she concieved around the same time I shared with her the verses. So what happened I ask. They were low on cash following successive 'solutions' none of which was working. I say, glory be to God. You say, 'BS'

So this your friend, conceived, went on maternity and when you saw her(looks like you didn't even recognise her), she had to remind you of the fact you prayed for her etc etc hmmm!

Please don't make it about yourself, I have never questioned if you believe your account of the story to be true, it is the lady's account I question.
Too many times i have been told some fantastic tales by people who claimed to have experienced it or seen it first hand only for their story to change from the spectacular to the not so spectacular after just a few questions.
Once again my friend, I did not and will never accuse you of making the story up, I am only saying that people when faced with problems of that nature become very emotional which makes them to over emphasize certain aspect of their story while deemphasizing other aspects of the same story.
So unless you took your time to sift through the noise in her story before accepting it as fact, I would remain skeptical about the absolute truthfulness of her story.

This!!

Afterall In the beginning, the lady never told him, she was the childless one but that it was a friend. Childless couples, usually never give up too so was probably still receiving treatment anyway.

Books is taking this way personally. People tell white lies and I find especially when talking about miracles. See jabogje's hiv healing testimony for example.

They tried all things they could imagine for 5 years and came out poorer and with nothing to show for it.
In fact the funny bit is the lady used to be my colleague and she asked me for verses to encourage a couple who were seeking a baby.
I thought about it, prayed, dug into the scriptures and shared a few verses and I prayed them for a few days for her friend. I encouraged her to keep on praying the verses.

She went on maternity leave, came back and that's when she disclosed that she was talking about herself only that she felt a bit embarrassed to say so. Five years of trying and then after prayers she conceives? Prayer was the only variable. Conception happened around the time I shared the verses

Maybe after you prayed for them, they calmed down and let nature take its full course, instead of stressing about having a baby. Stress doesn't help with conceiving I've heard.

this is why they are dummies in the first place. right now, they are saying the baker didn't even sell 4 million loaves of bread and they need to see the invoice first to believe it. grin

The baker's sold loaves only count once they're eaten, if not the baker won't get paid. They're sold on credit and once the stale ones are refunded, then we know how many he actually sold.

In the meantime, this particular baker has sold out and can't deliver more bread till October, the baker is suffering lmao

you are just talking nonsense.....
apple counted the number of preordered products on their sites plus the number of 3rd party agents selling apple products through their networks as 4 million. 4 million is 4 million, that's what the statistics say & apple have already cashed their money on the 4 million units pre-ordered.

you, on the other hand, are arguing backwards. let's assume you own a bakery & some people preordered 4 million loaves of bread from you & paid the money even before the bread was baked....how many loaves are you going to declare as pre-ordered? grin cheesy does it concern you if all the 4 million loaves that were preordered get to the end user or not?

that's how meaningless your argument sounds.

omg, you've made it as easy as possible for the dummies to understand and they still can't. see the example above about the baker for god's sake. it explains it to the Tee. Whether the breads are eaten, thrown away is not the bakers business, he's sold the breads and moved on with his profit, understood?
