farem: My response to your initial write-up is PMB DIDN'T VISIT PRESIDENT ZUMA. This other issues you are raising are after-thoughts. Most pupils sorry people here think international forums are held like village meetings or APC/PDP ward congresses. For your information, PMB never smelled election when it has been fixed. Anyway I blame PMB, he should have lobbied it before he won the APCs primaries in order to satisfy your lofty demand! stop trying to be over knowledged about international affairs. Buhari didn't visit Zuma but Zuma visited Buhari in South Africa! The issue is he should stop all these mega oversea traveling and internal crises and economic problems besieging the country! |

Is Buhari visiting SA President?
Its in the news: primary pupils know it, IT IS CLEARLY WRITTEN AT THE OPENING OF THIS THREAD that PMB is attending a China-Africa forum merely held in Johannesburg. he chose to attend it! We have ministers who have the designate portfolios! Besides why didn't he lobby China to host it here it you think he is all powerful as were made to believe? |

They can go to hell with their training, after all, the last training l attended I didn't get a dime. Where is Diplomacy in governance? I urge the government to apply caution in dealing with this because you can't violently oppose a civil agitation by a group. It can make them take up arms...and guess what you and i including our relatives might be brought down! Be careful and remain mindful of the scourge of Boko Haram. It started like this but ends up being terrific to the country. |

DY20: 9. Nigerians take education too seriously People abroad do not believe in studying till you die! That is why they find it odd when they see a Nigerian who has a PhD and is looking forward to study for Litt.D, DSc or LL.d. We take education too seriously because we believe that it is the key to having a fulfilled life. Though, things are changing – and Nigerians now believe that you can still work hard and be successful rather than studying for ages to become a successful person. However, education in Nigeria is important. they earlier said Ekiti but Igbo people should take this blame! Left for the North, Education should be thrown to the waste can! |

DY20: 8. Foreigners believe Nigerians are not polite and orderly People abroad think Nigerians are not orderly because they jump queues or do not line up in an orderly fashion. Why waste time on the queue when it is every man for himself. Sometimes, the last shall be the first and the first shall be the last. Hehe! Ebonyi and tiv people are in for this |

DY20: 6. When a woman cooks for her husband everyday Nigerian wives cook for their husbands not because it is compulsory or they are forced to do it. They cook for their husbands to show how much they love them and also because it is part of our culture and traditions. yes we pay for bride price: they only give ordinary flower! |

DY20: 5. Interaction with elderly people is just too formal Nigerians show the much older people respect by being formal with them. For instance: calling your friend’s parents as Mr and Mrs Lagbaja. Nigerians are raised with the mentality to be formal and respectful to the elders. With the blend of the western culture and our culture, this is not the case. Nowadays, the young generation show respect to elderly people based on their experience and affluence. They believe age is not equal to respect. every tribe not only yolobas exhibit this! |

Our greeting styles (Ladies kneel down while Men prostrate on the floor) are part of our heritage, a sign of respect, it is who we are and we are proud of it. yolobas are at it again!

DY20: 1. Foreigners think Nigerians are noisy and loud. Like seriously? I don’t believe Nigerians are loud and noisy; we are quiet and reserved people. If we sound loud or speak in high pitched voices, it means we are either having fun or you just stepped on our toes. Nevertheless, we love life and always want to have a good time. yolobas are are noisy in their conversation and arguments but what do you make of these Arabic commentators during football matches? |
