PoliticsRe: Buhari's Economic Adviser Suggests Nigerians Should Offer Govt. Their Wealth by Noblecx: 1:21pm On Sep 12, 2016
seunmsg:
So, what's wrong if wealthy Nigerians offer some of their wealth to help the country get out of recession? We can learn from the patriotism of the South Korean women who supported the government of their country in a period of recession, I don't see anything bad in what he said.
Everything is wrong with Nigeria and what the man has said...
How many people is willing to die for Nigeria, even the armies are hoodwinked most of them are dieing not BC they are patriots but for some other reason...

This present govt didn't come on board out of patriotism but nepotism and tribalism with selfish interest and you don't expect wealthy people who are patriotic to give to a government whose mandate isn't patriotic.

Wealthy zombies should give to the government and live the patriots alone as everything in Nigeria is now all about politics...

No dare mention patriotic again like you understand the meaning.. Smh

We are not better than you and all of you are running to Obodo Lagos...

Very soon, you will need to get VISA to come here and it will be short time VISA, not permanent residence... We can't allow Biafrans to turn Lagos into a mess like Aba.
That can never happen as far as Biafra remains in Nigeria, Lagos will continue to be a no mans land...

Deal with it...
Meanwhile how many plot of land do your father have in Lagos...?

Hello sir! I'm a representative of the NCA of nairaland (ipob and general tribal e-war monitoring division), and we have a policy of not allowing jabs or shots to be stylishly fired by our forum members without them clarifying the intended messages in their posts so that the messages or shots actually reach the targeted audience!

In doing so, are we to infer that the "spines of these born haters" that get affected at the mere mention of this name you are referring to above must be those that belong to "the afonja crew?"
grin is just like implying the same concept of when someone say O and another say P while another say C.
I believe my message was a bit clear and someone else not necessarily me can make it more clearer...

But all the same am partially with you on that...

Noble is an adjective so spare me this empty critics. I can choose any adjective to qualify my nouns and that's not your business or you gonna ask me for links tomorrow when I choose to call it dignity prize? Rubbish

Meanwhile, I better end the conversion here BC I don't have time for lazy asses if you can't do a Research for yourself so be it and is none of my business...

Is the garbage you posted up there the response to my question? I said you should show me Chinua Achebe and Chike Obi's "nobel
prices
", you're posting irrelevant links. Show me where in your links it was stated that they won "Nobel prices" grin cheesy

Lastly, you still haven't told me the state with the most professors
Prize is prize whether notable or noble they tagged it. The fact is that a notable figure was recognized by notable organizations...

It was reported here about the state with the highest professor you can follow the link sire

Educationally, the Yorubas are no longer in the top-three. According to the National Universities Commission (NUC), Anambra, Imo and Enugu have the highest number of professors and doctorate degree holders in Nigeria. Ekiti and Ondo states that used to top the list have been demoted to number four and six respectively.

I'm happy that all these projects are coming up, it's good for the country but lagos will continue being the only economical viable sea port in the country. You will understand this if you are a business man...lol.
I am an entrepreneur and I am not in the level of just business...

If you are enlightened you will know the reason why Lagos has her enormous population... This is solely BC of the viable ports that opened up a little development... Replicate this footprint elsewhere you will have the same result that's not even a rocket science...

There is no new way bro, lagos will continue being the only and most economical port in the country as long as Nigeria stand. I'm sure you know there are two other additional port coming up (lekkI and badgry port). This does not mean I dont want other region to have functional port though....
Then what do you mean BC is obvious you are happy with the status quo thus the chest beating...

Like I said earlier new ways are coming up...
Onitsha port, onne port, obuaku port and the rest coming into the stream...

Enugu international and cargo airport(recorded his first cargo goods this year) with the Anambra cargo airport coming into the stream also will all be a new drama to unfold...

So don't sit and relax at your gores as new thing is about to happen call it change...

You folks rejoice over nothing. Aren't you suppose to do self retrospection. Your region has been producing the resources since amalgamation yet it is backward than the north and SW in terms of development, education etc. I have never seen people who are patrinizes themselves as Niger Delta people. What a shame
Lol, please stop making me to laugh out loud...

Which region is backward than the north when is obvious the region (NE) that is always last in everything civilization...

Wait oo, you mean the south west is developed too yet Nigeria is regarded as a developing country that is a third world country which is the one of the last country in terms of development...

Hollup, you talk about education yet we know which people has the highest professors (Anambra, IMO and abia). We know which region that has the highest unity school cut off marks (SE), we know which region that always tops in WASSCE and likes(SE). We know which region has made it big through contributing to education... Chike obi won a notable price in mathematics and China Achebe won same in literature more bigger than Soyinka noble prize... Emegwali created a space for modern day computing... So what have you but cheap and merely baseless propaganda...

Shame

Even in the report, the SW region i.e. Lagos sea port was used to export good from every parts of the country to overseas and some of you will say it was crude oil money that was used to build Lagos sea port. Even for using Lagos port shows the SW region Have being useful since the time of Adam and Even. Now don't give me that flimsy excuse that is because Lagos was the Sit of power then why then no put sit of power for Imo then? grin
Reason being that Lagos is more closer to the Atlantic and serve as an easier and flexible way to do it but thats old ways... New ways are on the way...

So op thinking SW did not and is not feeding Nigeria is a big lie. The region has got everything. Crude oil, Agriculture, industrialization etc. apart from the SS can you pls tell us what the SE contribution that is increasing this country GDP?
Given by what you've said about southwest could the same be applied to Present SE as they have the industrialization, Onitsha,Nnewia and aba comes to mind, they have oil where Anambra, IMO and abia comes to mind, and lastly agriculture they have yam, cassava, cashew, rubber, rice, maize, vegetables all in commercial quantities and in adding to it they have coal in commercial quantities...

SE is more resourceful than the whole SW bro..

We have to remind them now of the truth since Buhari is wasting our oil money exploring for crude in the north.

We must remind them that the FG never invested a penny in crude exploration until after the civil war when they forced oil companies to sell 60% of their shares to the federal govt and the FG paid for those shares from royalties they got during the civil war.
