So I have this American patient who I recently came across. He's a fat dude who is like in his late 40s but has a very jolly and likeable character. I introduced myself and we got talking afterwards.

After a while of chitchat, he asked me where I was from. I told him to take a guess and he said said, you sound like you're Nigerian. I told him (regrettably) that I was Nigerian. He started smiling and told me that he had a Nigerian girlfriend and that we both had similar accents.

He then started telling me recent occurrences that had befallen his girlfriend in Nigeria. He said the lastest story was that she was in Abuja and as she was on her way to the airport in a taxi, the taxi had an accident and she was seriously injured and had to be rushed to the hospital. He said that the hospital demanded money before treatment started and he had to hustle about $4000 and send to her in order for treatment to start.

The woman in question complain that is spite on her eyes but we didn't take her serious due to the way she was experiencing her plight... Later discovered it was true so we do the needful.

The cobra we kill today inside complex. Prior the pandemic parlva, is been 3months plus since they ask us to lock down. So we have been running things on code,so we were ask to open last week Friday.so when the woman open her shop whilst the sun was really hot, I was attending to customers when I heard people shouting snake snake so local man ran out lol... Two seconds everywhere burst so the snake was killed. After the snake was killed we Later discovered the bad guy has changed his skin lately....

In bold: exactly! This is what some people don't get. There are several of them on this platform disguising as female or using alternate accounts to scam people. Using female monikers, dps, et al. I just smh. Especially the double standard exhibited by some of them.
"You" scam people with a female moniker, yet you go about using alternate monikers to condemn evil. No one should misinterprete me, I'm not saying only guys engage in scamming people. We've seen countless times that scam cuts across both gender.

There's one of them couple of months ago that the owner of this forum shared her his post where the so-called she was seeking financial assistance. Some of us assumed that since it was Seun that shared such post, the profile/account must have been validated and confirmed behind the scene, so we didn't conduct our due diligence and went ahead to send money to it.

The rest they say is history as it turned out to be scam. He deactivated that account.

If anything, I expected that Seun will be the one to open a thread to inform and warn everyone about the scam. But nope, I must have missed that if the thread was ever created.
