How's the situation in your area, friend?

I have been inundated with calls and text messages by friends, proteges, colleagues and partners to say something about the ongoing, dire situations in the country.

Firstly, while not downplaying the popularity and wide-reaching, potential of social media, it is NOT my first place of call to analysing and addressing sensitive issues such as the ones currently playing out across the nation.

I have a very viable platform from where I make bold statements that impart well researched information and relevant social principles. My platform gives me the privilege to meet real people, from different walks of life across different social strata and professional classes in large numbers as well as on individual basis, and from their physical expressions and verbal responses, I can tell whether I'm making positive impact or doing otherwise.

Secondly, I am under authority - of God, my superiors and my conscience, as such, my voice will be the echo of my constituency and not anyone's feelings, opinions, emotions or sentiments.

Importantly, I think my lifestyle, not my words, is my best preaching instrument to anyone who wishes to emulate an example of leadership and loyalty and patriotism.

I have been tactfully threatened to be "unfriended" or "blocked" by some overzealous social media users, most of whom wants me to either endorse their opinions or help champion their own cause on social media without asking my stance on the issues that they talk about and the social doctrines that they propagate. Chronic talkatives are much more deadlier than any deadly viral disease or bullet, especially when all one talks about only evokes images of doom and disaster, and stir up hate, fear and resentment.

To make an impact through speech, talk about YOUR FEARS AND YOUR HOPES... Your fears are not necessarily my fight but your hopeful words can give me a fighting spirit to contend for a better future, for me, for my family, my community and the society ...with you in it!

Many comments and posts I've read on this and other platforms are, sadly, more sentient than the guns of the #SARS we intend to silence or the malice of the #badgovernance we seek to expel.

I sincerely laud the spirit of our Youth! The world stand in awe and respect of our heart-felt show of resilience and determination. We are simply amazing. The sounds of a thousand guns cannot drown the voice of our demands.

The highest level of satanic manipulation is through dreams. When Satan wants to pervert a man's life he comes through dreams.

He will feed you in the dream, sleep with you in the dream, chase you in the dream, fight with you in the dream...with the image of someone you hate or love. In many occasions, he will make you forget important parts of a good dream so that you don't know what to thank God for when you wake up.

What you do before you sleep matters a lot. It has been proven that watching horror movies invites demonic presence in dreams, watching romantic or erotic movies and pornography exposes one to demonic harassment sexually.

Studying the Bible, praying in the spirit and singing beautiful Christian songs will saturate the atmosphere with God's glory, and your dreams will be graced with angelic presence. Shalom.

Any time you feel an unusual urge to sin, it is a sign that you've just been blessed, gifted or promoted in the heavenly places.

1. When Adam was blessed with Eden and a wife, Eve. The devil showed up and deceived them and consequently stole the blessings of God. (Genesis 3:1-7).

2. Immediately after David was anointed king of Israel the philistines rose up to destroy him.
(2 Samuel 5:17).

3. A similar situation occurred when Moses, a deliverer and Jesus Christ the Messiah were born at two different era experienced the same attack. The Pharaoh and Herod tried to eliminate them respectively. (Genesis 2:16, Matthew 2:16).

4. After fasting 40 days and nights, Jesus was heavily anointed and...hungry. The devil tried to leverage on Jesus' physical needs to rob Christ of His blessings. (Matthew 4:1-11).

The blessings may yet to be manifested in the physical realm but as these few examples portray, the urge to sin indicates the presence of a powerful gift in your life. If you can resist the urge, the spiritual blessing will be manifested in the physical. Shalom.

Has there been a time, even from ancient history, has man been able to find lasting solutions to the innumerable problems of the world? Emphatically NO!

Governments have come and gone, wars are still being fought, sickness and disease still ravage bodies, the greenhouse effect is still being discussed, gross darkness (evil) has filled the earth, and is resident in the hearts of men to an alarming degree!

Interestingly, all these are exactly what Jesus Christ, in His living word, said is going to be in these times. MATTHEW 24:7,8.

Those who criticize political organizations, the "system", the precarious and versatile nature of the economy and moral rot, claim that they have an answer to the enormous world's problems, but in reality are themselves clueless about the future as those he is speaking against.

Adam thought that sewing leaves would cover their unclothedness instead of crying out to God in repentance, in the same way, the world is looking for answers through science, creating façades, chanting convincing mantras and punchlines, and reciting philosophical cliches, all in a bid to blot out the principles of God from our minds and from the society. 2CHRONICLES 7:14.

Comfortingly, it is written that .... There are MANY DEVICES in the heart of man, but the ultimate purpose of God shall prevail. PROVERBS 19: 21.

We are not made for SCIENCE AND BLUNDERS we are made for SIGNS AND WONDERS! ISAIAH 8:18. Shalom.

Preachers are often enticed into exciting areas of debate. There are many social causes that need a champion. There are many political and moral issues that need a spokesman.

The question every spiritual leader must ask is, "Did God call me to champion a social cause? " "Am I supposed to leave the foundational doctrines of the Word and move into "grey" areas? " I call them "grey" areas because it is uncertain whether they are secular topics or spiritual topics. (1TIMOTHY 4:16).

If your call is to stay in the "grey" areas, God will bless you over there. If not, then you have been seduced and enticed by a clever devil. (1 TIMOTHY 4:1).

There's currently an ongoing issue in, especially Nigeria. Unbelievers, so-called Christians and even many spiritually inept Christians now challenge the teachings of the Pentecostal church, and also cast shadows of doubt on the integrity of certain principles in the Bible.

No doubt, every new wave of God's move is preceded by a very bold and audacious attack by the devil to abort God's blessings. I sense a great revival upon the living church. REVELATION 12.1-4.

The issue on the front burners of the news now is being championed by a man or group of like-minded people who have a different or distorted understanding of the benefits and rights accrued to the Levites. I'm talking about the payment of TITHES by Believers.

Firstly, with everything in me I can tell you that paying of tithes is a genuine instruction from God in the Bible and is beneficial to every Christian. Tithes are payed to the Levites in the TEMPLE and not to any begger, poor man, destitute or hungry man. DEUTERONOMY 12:11...although the widows, beggars, the poor or hungry can benefit from it by the hand of the Levites... The Church, according to that verse is the appointed place to gather the tithes and then proceed to take care of the Levites, Temple needs and also the NEEDY mentioned above, (how did the Apostles get the things used to help the widows in ACTS 6:1-3... It's through the tithes).

Any pastor, bishop or general overseer that said tithing is unnecessary is simply seeking mass pity, attention and the cheering of fools. The Old Testament cannot be removed from our Bibles. Even those who say tithing is Old Testament still uses Exodus and Genesis to preach.

Secondly. Every Old Testament scriptures that did not pass the Jesus-test was changed by Jesus.

1. killing of animals for sacrifice Jesus changed it.
2. going to Jerusalem to pray, Jesus said time shall come when you neither go to Jerusalem to pray every where is a sanctified place to worship your God.
3. marrying more than one wife, Jesus changed that too.
4. not literally working on the sabbath day, Jesus changed that too.
5. an eye for an eye blood for blood Jesus changed that too.
6. and many of such doctrine or the so called Old Testament, Jesus verbally spoke against it and his direct apostles then.

But the matter of tithes was not condemned by Jesus, and mind you He never spoke against it not because it escaped his memory but because that order still remains VALID in the kingdom of God. LUKE 18:12...MATTHEW 23:23. Similarly, LUKE 11:42.

The case at hand is a case of most abominable kind of adultery at a time this very evil is very rampant among so called men of God. Christians have every right to be suspicious and also question events till the so called man of God is cleared.


In Moses case he wanted to marry and marriage is not a sin. Aaron and Miriam should have politely met him in private and express their concerns, instead they began to condemn and openly speak evil
against him on the matter when its obvious he didn't commit a sin.


Had it been a case that Moses committed adultery, don't you think God would have punished them if they failed to condemn Moses on the matter?

The case of King David was that of adultery and murder, among other things but God chose a prophet...not any ordinary man to speak God's mind to David. I think our conclusions on this matter and related matters stems from our suspicions and bias of men of God, instead of the fear of sacred truths.

My brother let us always look at the complete context of things in the Bible. Yes Mariam and Aaron criticised Moses and GOd chastised them. The chastisement was not because of what they said in verse 1 but what they said in verse 2.

But according to that same Book of Numbers 12:1, 2 when Moses' older siblings spoke against him... Don't you think it's the elders (in this case, religious leaders) that ought to rebuke another elder? Mind you, I'm not writing for the general opinion I'm writing for the Christians.

In the case of King David, prophet Nathan was sent by God to rebuke him and David was convicted of sin and pleaded for mercy. Nowhere did anyone in the family of the king or, the nation as a whole lift up their voice to question David's actions, no matter how despicable!

If you check again in Genesis 9:22, Noah was drunk and was lying in his tent. Ham, one of his sons invaded his privacy and came out and told his brothers. God placed a curse on him. Why then should we repeat stories or peddle rumours about dignitaries such as the subject in question.

Lastly, as you said Jesus Himself was commending the church...yes the LEADERS, the true offsprings of His disciples and not any layman He saw in church! Could you sir, confront your pastor, imam or the leader of whatever creed you profess if you're not at par with him in rank or status with an allegation such as the one Apostle Suleman had? Wrong! If a child hears his dad being accused and politely questions him in order to hear his own side of the story, its a very mature,correct and sensible thing to do.

But in the light of the scriptures, when Prophetess Miriam, the elder sister of Moses and Aaron, his older brother also questioned his decision to marry a foreigner (an Ethiopian woman, Zipporah) as that was against their custom which even he, Moses subscribed to ,God's judgment fell on her, that is, Miriam. I was bemused when I saw and heard people who claim in their doctrine that their spiritual leader is infallible casting aspersions on the integrity and possibility of the fallibility of the man of God. As a Minister I identified with the psychological travails and turmoil the man of God underwent but chose to hold my peace and await the vindication and eventual victory of the Apostle.

To all who thinks that being logical and pragmatic on matters as spiritual as this gives them a learned view and conclusion, I say to you desist forthwith from holding a mental or verbal take on matters far beyond your limited and confined mental capacity. The Bible says 'who shall bring a charge on whom God has chosen' Roman's 8:33. It is a question.

Lastly If I were your dad and someone accuses me of something, and you being my child questions me about it or even whisper it outside, it shows how irresponsible and disloyal a child you are. It is written 'let ALL man be a liar and let God be true'! Roman's 3:4. If we can, as Christians only allow God speak the truth where we are in doubt, and discontinue this habit of trying to help the unbelievers tarnish the image of Christ and lead them to assume that we are divided, then the day of perfection is near. You sound like a Christian who likes learning and that's a good thing, especially now that many professed Christians argue the Scriptures even without having the slightest idea of what they're talking about and accurate Biblical truths to push forward their sentiments. So Jesus undestood what happened to Jonah and refered His death to Jonah's. Now hear this "because you will not abandon me to the realm of the
dead, nor will you let your FAITHFUL ONE see decay. (Psalm 16:10NIV) this prayer was obviously made for Him propheticaly!! So you see, it's only God who could raise both Christ Jesus His Son and Jonah, His servant from the dead and never allowed their bodies to 'see corruption' (decay). Furthermore if death'll eventualy be destroyed (Revelation 20:14) and ALL the dead (even those who "sacrificed" their lives), will subsequently be raised back to life(Revelation 20:13), then... who died? It's quite understandable why many christians have refused to argue about this mystery that fazes the unsaved. I won't blame anyone for not accepting this great truth. I can't claim to be able to convince anyone either. So friends, in order not to deepen hatred for one another it's better you allow whoever guides your spirit and whatever influences your thoughts lead you instead of trying to make a mess out of eating a boiled egg.

Mr Macandy, if truly your organistion is a 'church' of Jesus Christ then you'll understand that Christ never asked us to do some of the things you listed out to help humanity.
Although you may have a genuine desire to help people and see the many problems bedeviling people eradicated but not in enjoining the Church to engage in matters that are not what she was commissioned to do.
Firstly, collecting of church members' data as to put a perfomance/conduct, rating faults God's Word in (Matthew 7:1-3) 'Judge not that ye be not judged...'
Secondly, establishing a financial institution as a way of meeting the fiscal needs of church members is even, not advocated by Christ, the Head/founder of the church. Do not mistake spiritual things with emotional/sentimental feelings as was the mistake of Judas when the expensive perfume was used in service to Christ (John 12:3-6). Furthermore, the house of God, the church of Christ shouldn't be a medium for preaching or practicing commerce or carnal industry (Matthew 21:12,13). The church is strictly for spiritual affairs. Matthew, the tax collector and the other disciples were all called to become fishers of men's souls and not advocates for men's cash, or managers of man's earthly needs.
As for the issue of capacity building, Christ gave gifts to men including the gifts of Governments and Helps (1Corinthians 12:28). There are men/women who are empowered by God to establish help centers, charitable organisations, NGO's, skills acquisition programs and the like. They receive spiritual guidance, counsel and supervision from the church, and are even staffed by spirit-filled believers (Acts 6:1-7). The Apostles said that leaving their work to serve tables would be a derailing of their main assignment!

The 'General Overseer' of GREATER LOVE INT'L ministeries #20 Ada-George road, Port Harcourt, pastor Kingsley Arere Alabrah, 34, came into one of the prominent families in Rivers State in the year 2008. From impregnating a young lady to sleeping with married women and running away with huge sums of their money, Kingsley was soon disowned by his dad, a retired navy non-commissioned officer from Bayelsa State. He ran away from Lagos as his many victims, or their spouses were hunting him. Finding his way into the family of a barrister and businessman, having been introduced to the man and his wife by a friend of his who still believed that something good can come out of Kingsley. He diabolicaly warmed his way into the heart of the man's wife who is a senior staff of one of the oil firms in P.H, and also the visioneer of a widows outreach. We reported the incident to the police. Three weeks later, kingsley called me again and threatened to deal with me. Finally, on the 21st of this month, he and some men stormed our residence around 11:30pm and with unknown intentions. They hung around the premises till the following morning.
