I was thrilled when I just got my N7, shey its the techno peeps have been yammering about. It was all rosy until the phone just refused to power on after less than 2 months of careful use. I happily walked into a carlcare office armed with everything I could find about my phone so I wouldn't falter in any terms and conditions. Standing for about one hour after hours of searching for this office was far from what I bargained for. I was patient though. I gave them my phone and I was told to come back in two weeks time. I was told to return the next week coz my fone was sent to Lagos blah blah blah. I still obliged. Till date I haven't collected my phone (2months) because my phone hasn't thought it wise to return from it's Lagos trip. I checked it, the amount I have wasted embarking on this fruitless weekly voyage added to the original price of my techno would get me a clean, fairly used s3. My brother has a similar experience, after I convinced him to get on the techno platform he got the phantom a+. After less than two weeks the phone started acting up. Restarting and sometimes going completely off on it's own. Now I take the slack for it because I was the one who convinced him to get the phone.
This piece is coming from my HTC phone which I got for far less (fairly used) and gives me way more than my thecno. Here's my advice, if you want to get an android phone, don't go for a cheap China phone, you'll still pay the original cost of a good one way or the other and still end up with your crap. Wise up, save a little more and save yourself from disappointments!

Let me correct your impression about nCC just for the records:
1. If Ncc is not up and working as derived by you, your sms wouldn't be 4 naira now, haven't you noticed it?
2. If Ncc isn't working data suscription for bb wouldn't be 1000naira, or do you think they reduced their prices cox of competition?
3. Etsalat was the 1st network to reduce their data prices b4 other providers fowed suit.
4. If Ncc is not working as alleged by you, do you think you'll be charged pea-nuts as call-rates?
5. Have you seen any scam bonanza lately like MTN's Aeroplane bonanza to a Uniport student "ghost"?

Pls Mr don't write becoz you want to write, verify ur claims first, stop making this country look too bad more than what it has been already!

WackyJ1: I tried to subscribe for the balackberry complete plan and it kept on telling me Operation failed

I tried the two different codes *599*3*2# and *499*3*2#

Yet it kept telling me the same thing, i now decided to try it through the sim menu and when i was about to subscribe it showed that the plan was now #1500 for their bb complete voice as shown in the screen shot below

While on their website here

It still says that the plan is 1000naira

Why do our network providers keep lying and deceiving us like this and NCC is unable to do something about it.

I wouldn't be wrong if i were to call this false advertisement and misinformation aimed at extorting more money from consumers.
Why would they can increase the plan amount without properly informing the public through the appropriate channels?
Especially since their balackberry plans do not work on balckberries without requiring to contact customer care to activate it for you.
This is purely deception

to run on your device, simply
follow the below procedure:-
==>Subscribe to monthly
blackberry completeplan by
dialing *499*3# or weekly plan
by dialing *499*3*1#.
Monthly cost #1,000 while
weekly cost #500
==> Once the 1month bb complete
plan has been confirmed
successful, subscribe again to
blackberry 10 daily plan by
dialing *599*3*2# (it goes for
#100 and 15mb will be giving to
you).
==>Set your apn to
blackberryx.net.
==>Save and exit. Connect and
surf.
Note: The bb10 daily plan help
clears all the mucus of bb
complete data so that you will be
able to browse with it on non bb
device. It has been tested and
confirmed working

C.policy:
For those of you that just subscribe to the etisalat just try this, once the 15mb get exhausted, just do the following;
==>Get or borrow a blackberry phone
==>Insert that sim that contain 3GB (You will notice that you can’t even ping with the so called 3GB even on your bb device)
==>Call customer care by dialing 200 and tell them to activate bb complete package for you that it’s currently not active on you
device
==>Once it’s been activated, surf with it on that same blackberry phone and make sure you ping with it (Just to be sure it’s been activated)
==>Now, subscribe for the bb10 15mb again on that same bb device and wait for the confirmation message that your bb10 daily bis is now active.
Once it’s confirm active, you can remove your sim and set your apn to blackberryx.net on any device you wish to use then connect
