From the image, at what stage is your application cu? Misterpaul: Today makes it 48 days since I applied for a student visa, No contact from the CO, no additional document requested, nothing nothing... dem just bone face
Application status still showing "Initial processing". The estimated processing time stated on the portal as at when I applied (April) was 26-42days which later changed to 40 - 50days. Friday will make it 50days of waiting.
And school orientation date is 20th July, WSU.
Do I need to contact them now or just chill a little more before sending a mail or calling them. Advice please.

Yes. You can do both the same day. Book for your medicals but then, you have to be very early atleat to be the first person to be attended to. The medical fee for fatayi clinic is 46k excluding polio vaccine that goes for 3k. As for the biometrics, once you are done with medicals, dash down to mobolaji road Anthony Ikeja, you will see Etiebete building. March on straight to the security and tell them you are for Australia. You will be given passage immediately. The biometrics fee is 7500. Enjoy yourself. ashianemmanuel: Please house, I want to do my biometrics and Medicals. Can someone guide me on this. - Can i do the both the same day - How much does it cost to do the both. |

INSIGHTFUL OGA FOBAK.Aussie land will surely bless you. we will meet up some day. fobak203: Touched down Sydney, Australia in good health, Thanks be to God. Well I decided to start with the good news. I would have dropped this itinerary summary on Life as an immigrant, but I want everyone to take note. I was on the connecting: ABJ-IST-BKK-SYD. My major hurdle was crossing Istanbul, That airline and her airport staffs are bunch of .... In short let me say it. Goats! Firstly, I had a 17hours lay-off or stop over and at the nick of time just before boarding. I was told I cannot fly because the ignoramus does not have immediate resources to check for my visa. As if that was not enough, between 1.25am flight time and 10.00am. None of the over 200 staffs could verify my visa. I had to teach the Cows how to use VEVO. Eventually, it was verified and three idiots told me I need to book flight by myself, Na there I spark say Wetin you talk! In summary, I had to make them book a new flight for me. A 2.5 days journey became 4days for me. Take-home point: You might want to reconsider if you hope to take Turkish airline.
Another scenario, another lady wit kids have to fly back to Lagos from Istanbul because of the same ignoramus plus the fact that her connecting flight was Singapore, which needs a ttasit visa. What a waste! Pls, if your agent books Singapore as your connection, Call am fast make he retrace him steps oh. Na dead end. Incase you still went ahead to book Turkish airline, on arrival to Istanbul, rush to 215 transfer desk to ensure your visa is verified. I have left a message that all Turkish airline staffs needs two things: English class and Reorientation. Let me drop my mic before dem go find me come. Love you ALL |

Kindly start by asking him the subclass of the work visa , afterwards google the subclass and know the requirements. Maybe you will be amazed to know that these agents cannot help you rather they will complicate your case with falsified information about you to the embassy. As a graduate, seek for more legal way of migrating to a country. My one cent. Ericmillion: Please Guys am a graduate and really want to migrate to australia. An agent is requesting for 3.5M to get me a work visa with an initial deposit of 700k. Am just confused and dont know what you do, if i should trust the agent or not. Please advice. |

Kindly confirm the visa on VEVO. But then, Australia stopped stickers a long time ago I wonder why you've got a sticker on your passport. Nevertheless, confirm the authenticity on VEVO. My one cent. Kuffour1267: Good Evening Nairaland,
There is an agent who did work permit visa for my friend to travel to Australia directly attached to a company in Australia. The class visa is 459. The agent also said the company will come at the airport to pick them up on there arrival day and also provide accommodation for them when they get there. Please how is that possible? Because to me i don't think this is real deal? Find the attached of the visa below.
Thanks |

This is harsh. You just displayed a high level of ignorance in the assessment levels immigration uses to rate financial capacity. FYI, AL1 schools may not be requiring an SOA unless otherwise stated. Kindly tender a heartfelt apology for being too hard with your words. God bless. kessel: Sorry sir/ma I refuse to believe you. It's either your time line is fabricated or you are not giving us the full information because never have I heard or read anywhere both on or outside NL that Australia gave out a student visa without SOA, please come out clean.. Wow, I admire your tenacity. What did you use as explanation/reasons for the previous visa denials. I seriously need this as I have been denied UK and US visiting visa too. Oshey9999: As said by other, I will say there is 100% chance of getting TRV approved after past record of refusals. I was refused Czech study visa and twice USA F1 visa all happened last year. And yesterday my TRV was approved. Thus, don't be discouraged because every country applies their immigration laws in different ways.
Good luck. |

Run for your life. Scam and again I say scam. My brother was in this same situation just last year. In fact 3 of my friends encountered same type of useless visa. Theirs was Finland as home country. Ugoerico: Please House help, My younger brother just got an Australia one year E-visitor visa and we are about to pay the agent an agreed amount of 1m. But we just discovered that the visa has Norway as the passport country (meaning that my brother is holding a Norway passport).. All other details such as name and passport number is valid and the visa has been verified valid too. My question is this? Wil they allow him pass at the POE when he presents a Nigerian passport while his visa stated that he has a Norway passport? Remember that e-visitor visa was gotten without a biometric, it is when u enter that u are captured.
Now we have called the attention of the agent and he said yes they used a Norway contact to process the visa that it was worked in a way that my brother had gone to Norway. He also said lawyers there wil b at the Poe to ensure he passes... Please advise.. Should he travel with it? |

House, Kindly lend your advise on this issue. Many thanks. nogara: Hello house, I am conjuring my SOP as I intend to apply for my study visa this month. My concern is my immigration history vis-à-vis previous Visa denials to UK and USA. - how do I go about explaining this denials since they were both visiting visas. - am I supposed to narrate this denials in my SOP or is there any field for this during the online application. - The US denial was the normal blue paper, please what can I state as the actual reason owing to the fact that the reasons stated on the paper is generic. - The UK was based on insufficient funds and my circumstances in home country. This denials followed chronologically from 2016 and 2017. However, I have a visa and have travelled out to Southafrica after these denials. House, kindly lend your view as regards my situation as I would like to tackle this issue critically and as such get my study Visa granted. |
