This is true. I mistakenly declined my ITA myself. I couldn’t forgive myself for that but again I got another ITA the next draw. Don’t give up rather press on.
MissMa01:
Mistakes happen and the accept/decline button are too close to each other so there’s that but I don’t think anyone will set out to jeopardize such an important process.
Just be careful, is all

Though I’m sharing late, PPR came in guys!!

Timeline:
ITA- 14 May 2020

ADR- 17 July 2020 (additional family information)
MEP/BIL- 24 July 2020
Biometrics- 28 August 2020

At a point I got really worried after reading stories about using pension fund to complete POF but thankfully it ended in praise!
Congratulations

His score is at 475 at the moment.
MamaJoJo:
Wow, it's gone unfortunately.. so sad. I hope he has high CRS score he will have to wait for another ITA

Hi Guys,

Please does anyone know how to restore a declined ITA. A friend of mine mistakenly pressed the decline button on his ITA and realized that his application link has been wiped out of his account. Is there any solution to this? please your response would be highly appreciated.

Kindly be discrete with your responses and ask questions on any subject you are unsure of. These people hold you by what you say and nothing else.

Go for Macquarie university those people are open for business .......and save your self all these stress .

God bless you for being a blessing to others.
MissyGSam:
Hi My Fellow Australians

Happy New Year!

Is anyone relocating (or planning to relocate) to Sydney? My family and I are happy to host you for a few days till you find your accommodation and generally settle down. In fact, you will be welcomed with hot, spicy Jollof and cold orange juice, with the possibility of dodo, and of course all for free.

What is in it for us?
Nothing, or should I say the blessings of God.

So why are we doing this?
Well, let's just say, it is our own way of giving back and serving God this year. When we arrived a fellow Nigeria we barely knew took us in, accommodated us and feed us for FREE. So yes we are giving back.

Why Should You Trust Us:
Good question. Unfortunately, I don't have a convincing answer. As Nigerians, I know we know SCAM is real. But I am happy to answer questions to ease your fears.

Family Composition
We live toward Western Sydney
Family of 3
You get a room to yourself.

Let's all have a grant/visa-filled year.

PS: happy to answer all Syndey related questions. Being here for a while now.

Bro, this format has been used on me and i whiled away my precious time for 8 months yet nothing came out. infact i had to lock the agent up with police before i was able to get my international passport back. Please , do your checks on this agent thoroughly and if you arent comfortable kindly withdraw while its still early. my piece of advise.
Amalahajames:
I just paid an agent today to help secure for me a I year work permit Australian visa..
We agreed on 1.4m and I transferred 700k to him today,, he only requested for my passport data page and two passport photographs.. I hope this is real, still have my fears until my Visa is out..

Why do you want to submit your statement of account when you have a sponsor? Don’t complicate your application with unnecessary documents.
Smile4mee01:
Please a quick advice needed.

All the funds I have saved up of about 6m approx. 24,000 AUD. After I pay my initial fee of day 19,000 Aud. The balance in my account would be about 1m. I am worried thisnmight be deemed too little and this might affect my chances of getting study Visa despite the fact I am using a sponsor.

Pls advice a brother.
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by nogara: 1:45am On Jan 26, 2019
you can open an account with ANZ BANK in Australia while you are still in Nigeria. immediately you get onshore you can go straight to the bank and make withdrawal over the counter after verification with your international passport. Too easy.
Mulatto444:
Hello fam, my sponsor organization is insisting on paying my upkeep money to my account over there in oz, please is it possible to open an account there whilst still in Nigeria, if so can I be helped or directed on what to do, I need to be sure of all de payments before moving, especially bcz of house rent.
Thanks am anticipating a reply

Happy new year guys, I have been reading posts on the thread and I can see the alarming number of applicants on the waiting list and also the gradual increase on the number of new individuals that want to start the Aussie Journey. Nevertheless, one thing that is certain is that we are all on the same track. I passed through this thread and it was a great resource to me and I have given back to other people that have also been successful. Your GTE and financial requirement remains the crux of your application. Please , take your time and write captivating SOP and also write your English test. It’s better to have excess documentation and be sure all loose ends are tightened than giving rooms for doubts when you submit your application. I wish us all the best and Multiple VISA grants this month.

All schools here accept fees on semester by semester basis. It’s at your own volition if you decide to pay your one year fees at once. But a semester fee is the prerequisite to start your course.
Saintbusco1:
thanks dogara... am asking what if I can't afford the entire school fees like $28,000 at once? is there scholarship or part payment? and this their school fees are they paid in AUD or USD

congratulations bro. God will further order your steps as you come over.
yese001:
Hi All,

I trust you great! This is to motivate an individual out there.

Profile:

So I recently got my approval. All thanks to God. Inputs from this platform cannot be underrated as well.

Medicals was done upfront Oct. 26th, 2018
Application was submitted Nov. 16th, 2018
Biometrics followed Nov 19th, 2018.
Approval popped in Dec. 14th, 2018.
School: RMIT (AL1 Institution)

So; I simply submitted all documents required using the evidentiary document checklist tool. *Nothing Extra* Please, see link below.
https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/web-evidentiary-tool

In all, please, take time out in writing a very catching GTE (Statement of Purpose/Intent). This I believe have a great impact on one's application. Watch out for grammatical errors, wrong usage of words and above all, make sure you express yourself in your statement. Your passion and motivation driving you must be felt by the case officer *you must be articulate about it*. Thanks to @Nogara on this this one. He gave his input on mine.

Great to be part of this family. Please, never hesitate to buzz up if you need any clarification on your application. I am still learning; but will sure try my best in giving response to the best of my knowledge.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for leaving the substance in my post and pursuing the shadow. IELTS is not a free Ticket to Australia , I wonder why you made it your topic. My advice, remain calm and learn from everyone here. I learnt a lot here, someone told me my SOP was rubbish from this thread , I took it as a challenge and then he assisted me. See, getting a visa is one thing, then making it over here is another thing. Your credentials and packaging can bring you here but if you lack the right attitude to learn and relearn, hmm , you may just be surviving here. Within my 3 months here I can tell you how being teachable has helped me. This is just my one cent.
IamNegan:

Accept my heartfelt sympathy for the heartbreaking denial after investing so much energy. However, I think if you were explicit with details as regards your application then we will be able to see what might have triggered or informed the VO's decision on your application. Sometimes, the things that lmseem so little could mean alit because this visa application process is subjective to an extent. Kindly start by stating the school and your intended course of study , your previous study and possibly your current type of job. Then, your home ties. From there we could share ideas on way forward. Never give up, a denial is not the end of the vision. Your goal is still very potent. Cheers.

Do they pay your salary into your account? If yes, then print out like two months statement and underline the salary credits. Also include your work ID, letter of employment, reference letter from your HR. This is enough to validate your employment. Also ensure you do the needful on like LinkedIn.

TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by nogara: 6:55am On Sep 09, 2018
Kindly google schools in Australia as it relates to your intended course of study and city. Afterwards, find any Pfl agency and work with them. You can return here to ask streamlined questions where you are might not be clear on what the agents might be doing. Just an advice

Congratulations on your admission to UTS, however, if you want a fast tracked visa application, kindly do the needful even if they tell you it's optional, make it it mandatory just to avoid regrets. Write your IELTS and Prepare your SOA to avoid stories that touch.

Good morning Gurus in the house... i got my offer letter last month and preps are being made to pay my tuition.

My agent told me my school (university of technology, sydney) doesn't require an English exam and a statement of account. Please, i really want to know how possible that is as i have very limited time to prepare and write the exams if i end up needing it.
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by nogara: 12:00am On Sep 05, 2018
Scan your work ID, your offer /employment letter and also any update on your employment status if any. Also go to LinkedIn and update your work status properly. My advice.

Everything is scanned to the embassy. No paper application even your visa is issued electronically. You will appear only for medicals and biometrics.

Thanks fellow.
How does this proxy work? I am a fresher in this Austrian stuff. Can you explain further please?
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by nogara: 1:21am On Aug 27, 2018
No embassy, only biometric center in Lagos and Abuja. All your submissions will be done by proxy.

Pls where is Australian Embassy located in Nigeria for student visa processing? Thanks
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by nogara: 8:38am On Aug 16, 2018
Hi, I wonder who advised you on mentioning post study permit. This is a big mistake. Look for new circumstances that will counter your previous statement. Get a business of your own, get some landed properties and generally income yielding assets. If you were not married initially, you might consider that now. My one cent.
Obiora5051:
Hello Fam
I was denied a student visa on the 27th of July. Reason was based on GTE requirements. I included in my SOP that I would apply for 2 years post study visa upon graduation the officer concluded that I do not intend to return to Nigeria.

Now my question is, Can I still apply for another student visa and change my statement to suite what they require. I am worried that they will call on my previous statement and compare for consistency.

Additionally I intend to make a slight change to my course of study from Masters of Engineering Technology (Civil Engineering) to Masters of Engineering management as Feduni Ballarat has already cancelled my COE. I really don't know if this change would affect my chances on the subsequent application.

Thanks
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by nogara: 10:30am On Aug 11, 2018
Kindly get the survey plans and deed of assignment if you dont have the CofO. Also, if you have a property that is rented, the receipts of rent can be attached with the picture of the building. This should be one document in pdf. I hope this helps.
folashade3272:
When your agent ask you to provide landed property, what are you expected to provide? Any idea of how the CO verify the said documents. Thanks

Visa submitted : 13th July,
Visa grants : 6th of August. (didn't even know that my visa has been granted not until when my agent called to confirm if have gotten a mail, behold I check and it was my visa grant)
To all those awaiting theirs I wish u all d best.
Thanks.
