obinto: One ministry to include works, aviation, railway, transportation? Consider for a minute the no of parastatals involved. Do u know the amount of meetings and documentations needed? This is unrealistic if u really want to do a thorough job. All in a bid to consolidate portfolios. Perhaps they should add the health ministry for good measures. Change is good but it could also turn horribly wrong I think Ministry of Transport should not include Works. On the other hand, the number of parastatals under the ministry would be handled by two ministers. So, I don't see any problems here |

Caveatemptor: Finally while I agree that Adokie Amiesimaka was a great skillful player he tended to play to the gallery and lost the ball a lot. Honorable mention should be made of Humphrey Edobor of New Nigerian Bank and James Etokoebe of Leventis United. Sam Okpodu of Bendel Insurance equally qualifies to challenge Odegbami on the right. great players those. Remember John Benson and Yisa Shofolue? |

faoogoke: Please including a player who did not feature in a world cup might not be fair cos if that player is that good his team would have qualified for the world cup but of course with some exceptions. I want to comment on Christian Chukwu. I watched him play. They call him chairman. I don't know why. Chukwu had no skill. He took dead ball free kicks for the team and he always ballon the ball high high over the bar. And anytime we played north African teams one had his heart in the mouth. same goes for majority of his contemporaries with very few exemptions. He was called chairman becos of his defensive duties. Seems you don't understand the op discourse. These players may not have qualified for the world cup, but they were heroes of local league |

naija1stpikin: They picked Akanni up one morning
Beat him soft like clay
And stuffed him down the belly
Of a waiting jeep.
What business of mine is it
So long they don’t take the yam
From my savouring mouth?
They came one night
Booted the whole house awake
And dragged Danladi out,
Then off to a lengthy absence.
What business of mine is it
So long they don’t take the yam
From my savouring mouth?
Chinwe went to work one day
Only to find her job was gone:
No query, no warning, no probe -
Just one neat sack for a stainless record.
What business of mine is it
So long they don’t take the yam
From my savouring mouth?
And then one evening
As I sat down to eat my yam
A knock on the door froze my hungry hand.
The jeep was waiting on my bewildered lawn
Waiting, waiting in its usual silence. Nice one |

Krasid: Nope,Ronaldo is 1.I have seen Ronaldo perform most of these skills using different techniques.I also consider Ronaldinho, Queresma, and Neymar. your opinion. Messi fits the bill for me. So messi is numero uno |
Sports › Re: Checkout My List Of The Most Skillful Players Today by nonjebose(m): 11:05pm On May 21, 2015 |
Krasid: Messi is skillful, but not among my top 5 most skillful(maybe top 10).A skill is a learnt ability to perform a task.Football skills include dribbling, crossing, heading, tackling, taking fk/pk's etc There are various techniques in which each skill can be performed and a player's ability to pull such skills with different techniques depend on how skillful he is.e.g A player can use the knuckle ball technique when attempting a freekick, another can attempt a curl.A player can attempt a stepover, nutmeg, roulette or snakebite to dribble.A player can attempt to cross/pass with the inside of his foot or with a rabona.A player can score by chipping the GK, finesse(R2) or just shooting the ball with power.Certain players can attempt these skills using different techniques, while some are limited to a certain technque and that is how a player can be said to be more skillful than another. Then Messi is no 1 |

Don't mind him. |

Nicklouse: This is my second nairaland account and not my original just for the sake of this post and other stuff. I recently married this beautiful 24 years old Lady about 4 months ago. We married in a church and the wedding was great. Our honeymoon was also great.
She is always demanding sex.. When i say NO she would romance and seduce me so much that i have no choice but to give in up to 8 times a day. Especially weekends. During the working days, she would ensure we copulate at least 3 times in the morning before she leaves for work and up to 3 times at Night before we sleep and sometimes in the car in traffic as our work places are very close so we leave together.
I am getting tired of this. The day she came visiting to my work place.. we had sex there in my office. I dont know whats in her head right now i need help. Nairalanders please help me.
I reported to her family they have ignored my complaints.. She is a very young, beautiful and irresistible girl so i can barely control my self even when i do not want it. I threatened to divorce her, she said i cannot divorce her just like that. She is right, i cannot. I wont dare judging by the family she is coming from. An iron born family.
I am now angry, sad, and confused.. She is even sleeping by my side as i type this i am sure by 5:00am tomorrow, another round. You are lucky my friend, but yet unlucky. Lucky, becos a friend of mine would gladly trade places with you. He wife believes that it is his responsibility to always initiate sex. Even most of the time his advances yield no result. Unlucky, cos she is not seeing reasons with you to slow down. Well, I believe she will after her first baby |

2n2k: You are looking at what happened in 1984 with the eyes of 2014.
I sure witnessed that era as an adult, there was no disgrace talkless of it being monumental. We Nigerians were so proud of it then. We are talking of the days of Ronald Reagan and cowboy diplomacy not Obama. There was even no condemnation of the act by USA.
Contrary to what that Wikipedia source said, it was not Britain that expelled Nigeria High Commisioner, Nigeria recalled its Commisioner for consultation and issued a statement that it 'considered it inappropriate for the British High Commisioner to be in Nigeria while his counterpart is in Nigeria for consultation'. Effectively it was Nigeria that expelled the British ambassador not the other way round.
When Britain detained the Nigerian plane, Nigerian government recalled the British Airways plane that was already in the air enroute London and detained it in Lagos.
Soyinka issued a statement then lambasting the Nigerian government for allowing the kidnap to fail. He wondered why the kidnappers used the airport in central London when they could have used less busy airport in other parts of UK.
Geoffrey Howe - the British foreign minister was one of the first callers on IBB in 1985 immediately Buhari was overthrown and it was Britain that first announced the normalization of diplomatic relations. So far the most accurate account of events. It was generally a feeling of disappointment that the operation failed. |
