V0lv0: Kwametut/dieantword/UcheCape is the same person. He is not a Ghanaian but a Southie. He is a troll and should not be taken seriously. He pretends to bet other nationalities but it's so easy to fish him out cos he speaks the same way and the same ish. As Kwametut he pretends to be half Ghanaian same as his other username dieantword but after I exposed him he started insulting and hating on Ghana too. As UcheCape he pretends to be a Nigerian. Just go through some of their posts and you will see that it's the same person. He can bring 100 different usernames and I will fish him out. I already am suspecting 2 other usernames that might be him as well. This guy is crazy So smart officer! Lol |

And u think they are willing to throw 57million subscribers away. 27% of world (not africa)customer base is d reason why that man should questioned by his employers for his unguarded statement. |

Ppl don't know the importance of the nigeria market and it isn't their fault ,I will blame our leaders who have been behaving like beggars and scanvengers to foreign countries. This is what gani told obj then , he said u don't need to go to them, the nigeria market is too big to ignore ,even paypal had to comeback to the nigeria market when they saw how alibaba was making huge billions from a place they thought wasn't good. Many ppl on this thread even don't know the genesis of the gsm operations and what went on then ,those that remember the happenings then will agree with me that mtn will go to any lenght to remain in nigeria . Gabbysky: I will repeat it that Many Nigerian Families depend on SA Businesses here in Nigeria. I know of a guy whose Beer Bar business almost crashed just because DSTV did not show EPL for one season and the HiTV that got it then wasn't reliable. I also know of a young Lady helping her family out when she was still with MTN as a contract Staff, now, two of her siblings are about to drop out of school 'cos their Sis's contract had not been renewed and NO ONE will come to their aid. A for the boldened, we must not stoop so low and act babaric.
Guy leave, you need them as much as they need you. Get d point. If they leave, what do u think will happen to the void created? Yes,it will be filled. The first national carrier license they have gives them a lot of advantage, which will be mouth watering for any coy. My point, THEY NEED US MORE |

You people have no idea of the number of Nigerian families and citizens that depend on SA businesses here in Nigeria to survive, even up to the local Bars and viewing centres in your neighbourhood.
MTN, DSTV, SHOPRITE and the SA Govt have already condemned xenophobia. Their condemnation is in order, but stop saying nigerians depend on SA biz. Are they running a non profit organization? Do you think no SA was employed in those foreign biz destroyed? |

MTN changing to Orange or AT$T is not out of place!! On point. Many nigerians fail to understand that this country remains investors best destination. MTN or any SA company stand to lose if action is taken against them |

Sweetguy25: It is costlier for 6000 people to lose their jobs than for MTN to lose profits. It is not as easy as you're making it sound, MTN Nigeria won't just leave their businesses at no cost for another company to take over. Besides, it was Nigerians that brought MTN to Nigeria. It is not rocket science for anyone to realise that nigeria remains the biggest market in africa. They sell their assets,a conglomerate buys it,or it remains in comatose. They stand to lose so much more than the lose of 6000 jobs |

So pathetic. In as much as nigerians are very civil in matters like this, his statement falls a bit short of a threat. If they close shop, other capitalist hawks will gladly take up their space. They will come back begging. How much are they making in other african countries? They have a subscriber base of about 32 million in Nigeria six yrs ago. Nigeria remains her biggest single source of profit. |

Romance › Re: Are Nigerian Guys Wiser And More Knowledgable Than Nigerian Ladies. by nonjebose(m): 5:52pm On Apr 20, 2015 |
dany87: Your own view of smartness is fairly subjective. I does not really have much to do with the topic of being knowledgeable or witty. If being smarter means being more elegant or any other positive characteristic, it becomes quite subjective whether a man would be smarter than a woman. That is truly more subjective than my own argument. Intelligence can be measured, and I do not think women always like to marry men more intelligen than them, if they have some nasty qualities as well. The various definitions of smartness are not subjective,if you understand what they imply. Have you not seen couples, where the men are more fashionable than the women? Or you suppose elegance is the exclusive preserve of women? Besides,if your definition of smartness as being intelligence is considered,I strongly believe more women would rather live with very smart men with behavioural deficiencies than with unintelligent men with perfect manners,if attainable at all. |

Romance › Re: Are Nigerian Guys Wiser And More Knowledgable Than Nigerian Ladies. by nonjebose(m): 5:18pm On Apr 20, 2015 |
dany87: You have misinterpreted my statements. What I wanted to say is that the fact that you have married a less intelligent woman does not mean that is always the case. All things being equal, I'd rather marry a more intelligent woman who is kind and faithful over a less intelligent woman no matter how beatiful she might be. What do you ladies think? Would you marry a less intelligent man, who was faithful and not violent, over a man who cheated on you and beat you up but was more intelligent than you? You need to be objective in your comparisons, questions and judgement. Re-read your earlier post and my response. Smartness is not only intelligence, but a combination of many other things which I have listed earlier. My partner is smart in many areas of smartness, and that is the reason why she feels that she is as smart as me. When you consider all things being equal, most ladies I have come across want men that are smarter than them. Don't bring in subjective conditions |
