it was something else in owerri : even before INEC was set to declare PDP winner after the collation of results from the 27 Local Government areas in the State in which Ihedioha's PDP polled a total of 276,404 Votes to defeat the candidate of AA Uche Nwosu who got a total of 190,364.
At the moment, the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission are still computing the results of the 27 LGA results in preparation for the declaration of a brand new governor elect for Imo people. The REC Prof. Ezeonu has assured that the process which started since Saturday will soon come to an end.
Meanwhile, Jubilant Imolites have taken to the streets across the State to celebrate the victory of the PDP and its candidate Ihedioha. For the people of Imo State, its indeed beyond an election victory but a Liberation....
