BREAKING: Nnamdi Kanu’s trial adjourned till Jan 19.

The trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has been adjourned till January 19 and 20, 2022.

This was after he appeared before Justice Binta Nyako Federal at a Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday.

The PUNCH also learnt that the IPOB leader’s lawyers had earlier staged a walkout before the presiding judge.

Anambra state and igbo votes in the whole is not important to the overall interest of the APC. Perhaps Andy craved for the victory at least for himself. However it doesn't change the fact, APC do not need Igbo votes to win the Presidency.

Newly elected national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Iyorcha Ayu, says the party if elected in 2023 will develop Nigeria as it did when it was in power for 16 years.

“We will move ahead to develop this country. We did it before. We are going to do it again. I want to thank the governors,” Mr Ayu said during his thank-you speech.

Mr Ayu, who was the consensus candidate at the party’s 2021 national convention in Abuja, got 3,426 affirmative votes out of the total 3,511 accredited voters.

He told Nigerians PDP was back to take over and “develop” the country, adding “PDP will come back to unite our people, put them together, north and south, east and west.”

IPOB commander Udebuan Sage Chubueze, arrested in his house at Ekwulobia, Aguata LG, Anambra state where arms and ammunitions were recovered. He confesses to have led several attacks on police facilities and responsible for the killings of several policemen and Naval personnel!
