I am sorry for insulting you before. I just traveled to my state and found out that you were right all these while. Just look at the road heclaimed to be working on? just negodi. This is Portharcourt road aba, the only major road in the town
Apology accepted. It is those who have not been to Aba and Abia state that will fall for the image laundering activity of a fraudulent governor like Ikpeazu. We need to liberate Abians from their cursed land as that is the only way to help them recover from the animal status they have been reduced to.

okezie has wasted 2yrs farting around
Nwanne, no be small. That guy's face is as ugly as the state he governs. I believe his fart is just as nauseating too! I still maintain that Abia state should be burned to the ground and its inhabitants resettled in other igbo states and the land there used as public burial ground for all igbos @ home and abroad. Even the bible say that if ur leg make u to sin, cut it off! Abia state has given igbos too much bad publicity and we just have to totally destroy it for the greater good of the igbo race.

All these cosmetic measures can't save Aba from the depths it has fallen to. Even if u supplant New York City in Aba, that cursed town will return to its former state in less than a month because its inhabitants are already used to being animals owing to long years of psychological trauma caused by deliberate and systematic neglect by its own government. Aba, and Abia state in general, is cursed and it has to be obliterated to save igbos the shame of being associated with that pit of poo.

Abia state is the reason why some northerners and afonjas are bold enough to call igbos pigs! I just wish that the entire state can be destroyed with nuclear bomb to save igbos from this shame.

Please this is not about anybody. This is a serious issue. I am ashamed to admit it now but i have once denied being igbo just because of Aba. I was part of a team that went to value the Unilever assets in Aba prior to its sale and when a colleague of mine who was in the east for the first time asked me whether there was a hell worse than aba, i told him that i too was a first time visitor and that he should direct his question to igbos in the team.

Some paid Abia govt agents here don't want the world to know what igbos are already used to about Aba.

Go to Aba and see the way many ppl are fleeing daily to Port harcourt just to save themselves from complete evolution to animals. I know of many Abians who prefer to live in the more expensive PH and commute daily to their places of work in Aba just so they can save their children the trauma of growing up in such a cursed town forsaken by sanity.

Who is saying that Aba is industrial hub of the east? What is in aba? Have u been to Habour industrial layout in Onitsha? Aba is the most primitive place a human can live in! If we igbos hide these things, our brothers there will continue to live in sub-animal conditions.

Industrial latrine of the east indeed.

Truth be told, Abia state is cursed. The entire state should be burned to the ground and its inhabitants resettled in other igbo states, while the land there should be used as public burial ground for all igbos @ home and abroad.

You are simply talking trash.

Umuahia by Nigerian standard is a beautiful capital with many tarred roads, good street layouts, neat environment, and well managed.
STORY!

Igboid:
Why so? Because of Aba?
Is Aba the capital of Abia state? Umuahia is a clean Capital of Abia state. How many other Nigerian states can boast of a second city/town as big, economically viable and developed as Aba?

Please go and rest.
I have been to umuahia too so don't tell me cowpoo. Umuahia is a rustic semi-village with nothing to write home about except the now-boring abia tower and foul air as a result of dirty, unwashed villagers from the countryside who come to town daily to sell agric produce. And that is the only settlement in the whole of Abia state where ppl still manage to live like humans! Once u leave umuahia, you start wondering if numerous atomic bombs were just dropped across the state owing to the crater-deformed roads and terrible odour of filth, squalor and despair.

Ideally, Abia state should be renamed 'satan's own state'. But i am sure that even satan will swear for anyone that offers to attach his name to that state.

This is not a matter of afonjas laughing at us. I agree totally with one suggestion here that aba should be nuked because if aba is allowed to continue its free-fall, igbos will soon be mistaken for animals. It is only in aba i have seen a full grown supposedly sane man defacating in the middle of Faulks road in broad daylight and when i asked my host why nobody was concerned or doing anything about it, he looked at me with surprise and said 'welcome to aba'. This happened early last year.

I passed through abia state on my way to PH on tuesday and i couldn't help wondering aloud why they had no shame at all calling that state God's own state, because from what i saw in aba and environs, even satan will swear for anyone that dedicate the state to him. Abia state is the playground of demons.

nobody can defeat Obiano in Anambra except Peter Obi. The problem I have with Peter Obi is that he is in the wrong party. If Peter Obi can return to APGA again that will definitely be the end for Obiano.
In other words, nobody or party can defeat APGA in Anambra state. That i agree with you. I told someone the other day that just being in APGA alone has already guaranteed Obiano no less than 50% of votes to be cast.

Peter Obi knew he no longer had any clout in APGA since Obiano emerged in the scene which is why he ran like a coward to PDP where he is now a dead weight. And the funny thing is that Chris Uba who belongs to the Sheriff faction of PDP will pick the PDP flagbearer 4 the election. This election will be a roller-coaster for Obiano.

For Sheriff, a drowning man will clutch at a straw.

There is no such thing as PDP or APC. All Nigeria has are politicians that run to each winning side in times of trouble. No ideology. No principles.

Story for the gods. Sheriff has been beating the hell out of makarfi and his group since this crisis started and you call him a drowning man? A 'drowning man' who made fayose and wike to run to Abuja for emergency meeting yerterday!

Ipod knows they can't influence the outcome of the Anambra election as majority of their deluded members in anambra state are actually indigenes of other states, particularly wawa ppl of enugu state, imo state ppl and abakaliki ppl. They don't also believe in nigeria and so don't vote in nigerian elections. Anambra indigenes don't do Ipod as our ppl are too busy in their shops and factories to engage in such hopelessness and veiled criminality.

Whether home grown or abuja-made, the common factor is that they are Igbo leaders and they have considerable support and following in Igboland.

Everyone has a right to identify with a political party but it should not be the basis upon to discuss the need for a rethink.
If you think every igbo man has a right to identify with any political party of his choice, why don't you think every igbo man also has a right to live and work in any part of the country?

I believe that Barth Nnaji, Paschal dozie et al created a political party before trying to create southeast development commission. The main problem with you all is that you want some set of people do your job while you come online to either judge them or praise them. The effect of our lackadaisical actions and let other people do it mentality is the bane of the problem we are facing in the east.
So what were those two private citizens able to achieve with their South East Development Commission?

I belong to no political party but i belong to the group people developing a model that will see the end to the under-development of the region.
I belong to the group of people who wants the east transform from a "village" to a mega city.
i belong to the group of people who know that the development strides of our present government in the east are all cosmetic and not really the major blow we are pushing for.
i belong to the group of people who believe that the east can key into disadvantages in the country and make it their own advantage.
i belong to the group of people who believe that the constant death of our people on road due to their roaming around just to find a stable place to generate income can be eradicated totally by creating an economic home for them.
i belong to the group of people who believe that allocation from the federal government will continue to underdevelop us and put a strain on our spending capacity.
i belong to the group of people who do not see japan and other non-natural resources country who are doing well as smarter or more intelligent than the average igbo man.
i belong to the group who wants to push you all to cause an economic revolution in the east.
i belong to the group who is not impressed with the show of beautiful private homes and calling it development, we have that everywhere.
i belong to the group who wants every young igbo mind to create a buzz and tackle our problem once and for all and stop waiting for the people in government house. If they do not know how to do it, we can teach them for free and let save our future from being second class citizens in different states or places we find ourselves.

lets create a bug, let it bite.
Then you are not serious, my brother. Because if u are, you would know that the only way real development is achieved anywhere is by government-led policies and interventions. And in Nigeria nay south east, you can only get to government to influence these decisions on the platform of a political party, which in turn, influences your actions and inactions. So u are just an online noise-maker. Goodluck with ur 'Igbo-come-back-home' noisemaking.

This is not about political affiliation but development of igboland.
There can be no integrated and cordinated development of Igboland when Igbo leaders are scattered in different political parties with different priorities and agenda.
