Before ever there was a Willie Obiano, we had Chimaroke Nnamani with his Ebeano political machinery. Chimaroke knows propaganda and hype like the back of his hands.

We had Ebeano sign boards everywhere in Enugu then grin.

Gburugburu is a disciple of the Ebeano political Ideology. wink
It is very obvious that he copied the 'Willie is working' brand.

I can see a 'Gburugburu is working' signpost along the road. It seems that other Igbo governors are frantically trying to copy the 'Willie is working' brand that has revolutionised governance in Igboland. Last week, i went to Owerri and i also saw a 'Rochas is working' signpost on the new flyover being built there.

Willie Obiano/Anambra leads, others follow!

The fact is that this november election in anambra state will be a battle between APGA and APC. PDP will be dragging 3rd position with LP. I am a realist not a sentimentalist.

These Kidults have come to start washing the dirty linens of Igboland in public again. Abagworo, I have noticed that its you and betterabiastate that normally fire the first shot? Why can't you people face your respective states for once? sadsad sadsad

@ Lagidiowner, please stop referring to Imo state as worthless and useless. That state is the bedrock of education in Igboland same as Abia being the bedrock of Commerce. Imo people have always been known to be nice and respectful to Anambrarians. Imo has a very myopic governor and everybody knows Obiano is light years ahead of him. But that doesnt warrant anybody to call the beautiful people of Imo worthless and useless. I have good friends there and am not happy.

By the way on the topic, I don't really know if these bread is being used for campaign. If it is, Obiano does not need all these to win election. Who has worked, has worked and one good turn deserves another. These are stuffs you see in Ekiti and Imo where Fayose and Rochas share Fowls and groundnut oil. Anambra is on another level.

Obiano has my votes hands down. I am a young politician from Uke and we support him wholeheartedly. Adoration people also support him.
Nobody is asking you whether you support Obiano or not. His re-election is a given. I do not see anything wrong if Obiano, who has been known for long to have the milk of human kindness, also add this highly subsidized Bread to that milk, so as to help the poorest of the poor in the society, as APC-induced hunger sweeps the country.

Jealous clown, the Obiano bread is the most sought after brand of bread in Anambra state right now. That is evidence of his widespread popularity and acceptance. Do an opinion poll today in Imo state and ask your own people to choose who is a better governor between Okoroawusa and Obiano and at least, 95% of Imolites will tell you they would have been better off with Obiano as their governor than the fat pig who is ruling Imo state like an ayatollah. Okoroawusa is a failed governor. He is making Ohakim look like a saint now.

BTW, what is that stash that Okoroawusa always wear around his neck? Is that the Id of his secret cult? Let him put his own face on bread and see if Imo people will touch it, even with 100m long pole.

Those children hoping that fulani will suddenly give them igbo presidency should WAKE UP! It is simply a ploy to prevent igbo from focussing on biafra so fulani have more years to loot Nigeria

For me, we should focus on Biafra and forget the gimmick fulani are playing paying lip service to Igbo presidency. They hace no intentions for that and it serves as an emotional distraction to igbos. While fulanis continue to loot Nigeria and search for oil in ths north as part of their ultimate agenda for their AREWA republic.
So we focus on Biafra on one hand and support another fulani crook, Atiku, on the other hand as ChimaAdeoye said?! Does that make any sense to you?
Politics › Re: Buhari's Government Has Worsened Nigeria's Economy-Soludo by nonsobaba: 7:13pm On Mar 02, 2017
OLADD:
Former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, yesterday accused the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration of worsening the state of Nigeria’s economy.

Soludo spoke in Enugu at an interactive forum, titled “Big Ideas Podium”, which was organized by the African Heritage Institution.

At the Forum chaired by a former Governor of Cross Rivers State, Donald Duke, Soludo acknowledged that the current All Progressives Congress, APC, administration inherited a bad situation.

He was, however, quick to declare that the current administration had made the economy several times worst than it met it.

He said, “Nigeria is now, some say a fragile state, some say a failed state; it is not going to be a tea-party to come out but unfortunately, we are not taking it serious.

“Nigeria is not just in recession but in a massive economic compression; it will be a miracle for the present APC administration to return this country to the dollar size it met in May 29, 2015, if it stays for 8 years, that’s till 2023.

“It is business as usual; propaganda, lies, double-speak, current government is fighting corruption, insecurity, but we say to them, enough of the blame gain.

“They inherited a bad situation but they have made it several times worst; getting us out here is not a tea-party like I sad before.

Nigerians should rise in unity; it should no longer be ‘let them’; only united citizens can rescue Nigeria out of this position.

”The Ex-CBN boss, while stressing the need for what he called ‘Citizen United’, as a panacea to the present situation, urged the masses the take the government into account for all the promises made before the election.

“My idea is that of Citizen United; we won’t get the leadership that we deserve; we won’t get the leadership that we want; we will get the leadership that we demand.

“They gave us manifestoes, promised a lot and we said ‘yea’; how many have gone back to check how far them are implementing those promises; if any party implements 25 percent of its manifesto, Nigeria will get better.

“If you check any State run by APC, PDP or APGA, the three parties that have Governors, can you see spot any difference in any of those States that will distinguish one party from another, it is the same.

“APC said in its manifesto that it will restructure Nigeria, that Nigeria was not one, but after election, has anybody heard about it (restructuring) again?

They control 23 States and the National Assembly, all they need is one more State to get the required 2/3; so they have what it takes, but they are not talking about it again.

“If we don’t rise to hold them by the jugular, Nigeria cannot go anywhere. We have to start preparing for a post-oil economy; insanity is to repeat the same thing over and over again and expect different result”, he further stated.

Soludo, who also faulted the clamour for Igbo presidency described it as an “unnecessary distraction”, stressing that you could have the President and his Vice as well as all the ministers come from one village “but the life of all the people in the that village will not move from point A to point B.

While justifying his position, he recalled that during the former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, several members of the economic team, including the finance minister, Deputy Senate President, Deputy Speaker of the House of Reps, SGF, all came from the South-East, “but not one motorable federal highway in Igbo land.

“We want a new Nigeria where it does not matter where the president comes from; we want to set a structure where each citizen will work hard, where security is guaranteed.

”He further used the event to lambast the Federal Government for unleashing security agencies on various protesters across the country, especially the pro-Biafra groups, insisting that they had every right under the Constitution to express their feelings.

According to him, “people have right under the Constitution to protest within the law; the duty of the police is to give the protesters protection. Killing innocent citizens simply because they expressed their feelings is wrong; no citizen of Nigeria should be killed for no just cause; we don’t condone violence, but government should protect its people; once you remove freedom of expression, democracy is gone.

”Other speakers at the event included Prof. Akpan Ekpo and Prof. Osita Ogbu, a former econmic adviser to then president Olusegun Obasanjo.

Earlier, Duke, who stated that corruption was not a problem peculiar to Nigeria, observed that “it is a bigger challenge for us because there are no consequences here; that’s why it is worst here.”

As it is for Onitsha, so it is for Abia and umuahia. Why are rationalizing only that of Onitsha? Because the rationale you used for onitsha is same with that of Aba and umuahia.

Educationally, Abia and anambra are still heavyweights. Perhaps you would explain better what you mean by "educationally...."
The difference is that Aba is not suffering pollution due to automobiles. No. Infact, Aba is one town where you hardly find vehicles on the road due to the crater-deformed roads, and low purchasing power of its inhabitants to buy vehicles. What you see in Aba are rickety buses, kekes and few camrys belonging to banks. The cause of pollution in Aba are the mounting human and material wastes you find in almost every part of town, the large pool of mentally disturbed people who call Aba home, the terrible odour that pervades the entire town, the gully-disfigured roads and the shacks and shanties that characterize the landscape of Aba. Aba is a habitat for animals. That cursed town has to be burned to the ground.

It is only abia that makes you ANAMBARIANS shit in your pants.....ndo
Yes, Onitsha experiences pollution due to large number of automobiles swarming the city as many traders have fled Aba and chosen Onitsha as their choice destination for shopping. Even LA in California faces similar problems that Onitsha faces.

But the problem with Aba is that the people there have re-evolved into animals due to long years of cordinated assault on their psyche and mentality using the instrument of with-holding development infrastructurally, educationally, socially, and even spiritually.

Let's face the truth. Aba is cursed and only an atomic bomb can save that town.
Politics › Re: See Old And New Pictures Of Faulks Road, Aba. by nonsobaba: 8:45am On Mar 01, 2017
It will not be well for the animals that have kept Abia state undeveloped since its creation. Aba is a madman colony. Just seeing the repulsive environment, the traumatised inhabitants and the way animals have a higher dignity than human beings there, will a make a first time visitor puke. The horror of Aba is what has compelled most resellers in neighbouring states to abandon the cursed town and rather travel the much longer distance to Onitsha for their shopping.

Aba is cursed and only an atomic bomb can save that town.

You mean they should enjoy their delusion? All those animals from the cursed Abia state are always high on self deceit. It still baffles me why they want the world to believe that Aba and Abia state is making progress when the so-called progress and development is like a man who was pulled out of a sludge of faeces and washed 'clean' with a bucket of urine! Abia state is sprawling mess and it has to be obliterated to save igbos the shame of being associated with such anomaly.

Aba is cursed. Even if you supplant New York City in Aba, it will return to its former state in less than a month. The problem with Aba is not just acute infrastructural decay but animalistic behaviour of its residents due to long years of psychological trauma. Aba is a habitat for animals. No sane human being would want to raise his/her children there. You can deceive yourselves here with this facade but we know the real Aba and can smell its odour a hundred miles away.

Unity is only shown collectively, not internally because a huge population of people cannot agree on one thing, even ordinary small families disagree, that is why we have divorce, Hausa- Fulani are more united outside and more disunited internally follows by Igbos, then lastly Yorubas.

No, you are wrong. Igbos consider state first, that is why Okoroawusa was complaining that one particular FG agency (i have forgotten the name now) relocated to Onitsha and it must be brought back to Owerri. That is why Okoroawusa said that he has given land to NAFDAC in owerri to build a new laboratory for the southeast zone, despite the fact there is already one in Anambra state. These boundaries are not artificial, they are very real.

Agbada is Malian dressing that Arewa-odunanistanis copied.
Its not Igbo style of dressing.
I'd rather Obiano wear "Senator" cloth that Peter Obi use to wear, or even those his ankara wear with his pics printed on it, than this 1500 he was wearing there.

I'm not from Delta. About Ifeanyi Okowa, I don't even know if he considers himself Igbo, so I could care less about what he wears.
If Agbada is from mali and was copied by Arewa and oduastanis, why can't igbos copy it too? Is the "senator" dress not also copied? Afterall, it was ijaws and other southsouth tribes that started wearing them first before igbos began embracing it. If you want igbo dressing that was not copied, then you have to start wearing wrapper, the kind Ngige wore during his ministerial inauguration.

I don't think that nonsobaba is Igbo.
He doesn't behave or sound like one.

Ebonyi people are one of the most proud Igbo people out there, their patriotism to Igbo nation is unmatched by anyother Igbo group, even an Ntezi Ebonyi man that doesn't speak Igbo as a first language, will get mad with you if you tell him that he is not Igbo.

Ndiigbo is blessed having such group as Ebonyi.
They were disadvantaged because of their location, so it took time for them to catch up with modernity, especially the Ikwo/Ezza/Izzi part, but since Ebonyi state was created, they have made giant strides and are rapidly bridging the development gap between them and the rest of the Igbo groups. Ebonyi is on the rise, and Ndiigbo will be better for it.

First it was Igariwey leading Ohanaeze Ndiigbo, now it's Nwaeze turn to lead SE governors caucus.
This re emphasizes the equity and justice upon which Igbo nation is built and why an independent Igbo nation will be a success.

On a side note, why is Obiano wearing an Arewa-odunanistani attire to a supposedly all Igbo event? What happened to our Isiagu, if he must wear local wear. That his dressing is distasteful.
This igbo wannabe, who told you Obiano's dressing is not igbo? Didn't you see the red cap on his head? Who told you that agbada belongs to any particular tribe? Show me one governor in that meeting who dressed 100% igbo.
