ugo4u: Nobody will ask you for any certification in SSC, even if you study Medicine, but the chances of you not practicing your field is very high cos it is aikin soja all the way. SSC is a combatant course while DSSC is strictly for professionals.
NB That doesn't mean DSSC will be all about office work. The whole "office" thing is a hogwash and fallacy cos atimes some SSC will even be cruising in Abuja and other juicy cities while DSSC guys slug it out with Shekau brethren. You're a soldier first b4 ur profession. The good thing about DSSC is that it isn't as competitive and stressful to get promotions compare to SSC guys that drag army work with RC my good bro you will make a fine army officer your in depth knowledge of military affairs is mind blowing I name you the regimental sergeant major(RSM) for the honorable thread |

jameh48: I tell you Sometimes, it may even cost more especially when you are to undertake your project. You can confirm from anyone here who undertook PGDE, but, this is not to scare you. National Teachers'Institute, and National Open University of Nigeria actually have the cheapest running cost for PGDE compared to other institutions where you will get drained paying for handouts, and still buying books. NTI especially will give you all the modules (books)required for your courses, and the contents are very rich. You only need to prepare your brain because it will catch fire afresh for your good though. I hope the program can't exceed two years |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by nora2018(m): 10:53am On Sep 10, 2019 |
jameh48: You must prepare, and take examination to have a TRCN certificate. It is a professional certification that proves you are a qualified teacher, and educationist, so, my brothers, and sisters don't waste your time thinking you can get it just like that. The only exception is when you were given just after graduation having applied for those who hold a B.Ed from a University or an NCE from a College of Education. If you have not gotten yours, you have to wait for their next examination which will be next year. The last examination which TRCN conducted was three weeks ago, and results of candidates who passed will soon be released. There are people who pass, and fail. The other thing you need to know is that TRCN is a branch of the Ministry of Education, and a directive on ground is that anyone in the education line especially teachers who are not registered with the TRCN by December, 2019 will be arrested as unqualified teachers if found teaching, and whichever institution hosting such teachers will be indicted. The truth is, you cannot go through the back door in this case. Aside from the certificate, there is also a license which TRCN issues which you also must apply for, and they are renewable every year. It is a matter of quality not quack manifestations now. The Education sector is truly being sanitized. I am in the system, so, I know what I am telling you. Do it the right way because in this case there is no compromise.I know a Nigerian Army Colonel who participated in the last TRCN examination, because the Army no longer jokes if you don't have these professional certifications especially for DSSC applicant. There was so much pressure on the Colonel from the Education Corp that he had to get a to who it may concern from NTI pending when he will be issued his TRCN certificate if he passed. It is no longer business as usual. I am not scaring you, but I am telling you fact on ground. bro u are well informed, how can an hnd holder enroll for this as in steps he must take to get certified by this body |
