Your ignorance is centred on the fact that you don't know that difference between freezing accounts and forfeiture.

I won't teach you.

I will set the facts straight for all unbiased readers and call out your lying
Facts.

1:Tinubu legally challenged the case in competent court of law. This means that your first statement is disingenious and very well misinformation. You made it look like one must be present to legally represented

2 The second statement doesn't make any sense.
What is the "costs " of prosecuting a case that can net US $1.8m?
Was Tinubu reachable?
Was his lawyer represented?
Was his company(Mobil ) represented?
Was any of the defendant represented?
Was there any hearing?

How did the prosecutor simply decide to this these? Any evidence?

3 Here is the frozen/ forfeiture argument of yours. I remember pointing out that Russia frozen assets will simply be returned after USA takes $500k based on your story. There are several types of forfeiture. When an asset is frozen, $500k is collected when their is no judicial involvement (Administrative Forfeiture). There was a hearing in Tinubu's case: It was definitely not an administrative forfeiture since we all have access to court documents.

You lied again. The USA could have taken everything as not all forfeiture has a $500k limit.

NB; Anyone more familiar with the US justice system can correct me I am wrong

If his lawyer was representing him in court that is as good as him being in court. Your lawyer is your legal REPRESENTATIVE.
But then remitted more money to the "drug baron" than was forfeited? How does that work? The US govt won't relinquish a penny to a drug baron. If in doubt, show us a legal precedent to justify this claim.
I wonder how people let you get away with this claim. It is flimsy at best and tbvh, it fails the logic test. If the max limit is 500k, then it means the govt is allowed to take up to 500k and not below it. So the govt would have confiscated 500K of his money not 460k.

The truth is, alot of what is going on is the same emotive hullabaloo that preceded the elections. I have been using this Tinubu court case to actually rate Nigerian SANs and most of them are dullards.

The US govt confiscated the entirety of Tinubu's money that they related to proceeds from heroin sale and basically accused him of being a money launderer for the drug barons.

However he defended himself is immaterial but the bottom line is, the govt could not convict him of that accusation so they switched it to an issue of tax evasion for said sum. What that means is, since you are arguing that you made these monies legally, we are now alleging that you never paid taxes on those. Tinubu agreed to that and forfeited what would have been his tax and fine for evading the tax which summed up to $460k. The rest of his mula was remitted to him. That is all that happened.

If you people want to replace him as the president, your next best option is 2027 because even if he dies, Shettima is the constitutionally recognized replacement. Not Peter Obi.
Sometimes, you start wondering how someone can be so dull.

The prosecutor decided to close the case on his/her own. The documents they are waving around proceeds to show that there was an out-of-court settlement. So how did it happen?

That was how one of them claimed Tinubu didn't work at Mobil and proceeded to back up his many lies with the "indefatigable and unreadable " drug document which showed that Tinubu was a Mobil Treasurer.

1. Tinubu was in Nigeria then and refused to appear for questioning.

2. The prosecutor opted for forfeiture after considering the legal cost of pushing for a full investigation. This is usually the case for drug crimes when the perpetrators are not easily reachable.

3. The forfeiture law in the US has a max limit of 500k. So even though the entire account was seized only less than 500k can be forfeited.
You seriously lied barefaced.

Tinubu's money was frozen. There is no limit to the amount that can be blocked by US(Example is Abacha dollars and Russia Millions)

Tinubu appealed the Freeze.
There was an out-of-court settlement. A prosecutor can not decide to freeze a certain amount and give the suspect the rest.

Do you mean that Russian frozen accounts will be released back to Russsians after 500k has been taken?

What is the price to investigate a case that can net USA 1.8 million dollars.

Why are you lying ?

Yet he was convicted by USA. Yet he was invited to a Democratic convention?

You are wrong.

Uber facts posted a very accurate information or they would have to deal with defamation. Tinubu forfeited the said amount as proceeds of Heroin trafficking. He wasn't convicted as Hundeyin proposed.

The problem is that a lot of Daft people will see the headline and think he was convicted. The headline is sensationalized and has achieved it's aim. A section of people who always see their country and it's citizen as inferior will use this opportunity to write to ICC ,BBC, CNN and other elites that control the world to free them from their self-imposed slavery

Things Fall Apart is Africa's greatest English language novel.

Might even be the GOAT African novel in any language sef
Exactly .

Soyinka might be Nigerian greatest writer based on the quality and quantity produced but "Things Fall Apart" produced in 1958 showed a whole new continent to Europeans. It also showed/explained or tried to explain our acceptance or rejection of the colonizers.

Some like Nwoye and the "Osus" adopted and accepted the new religion and their gatekeepers. Others like Okonkwo rejected this idea of being ruled over by an ordinary man and a foreign god.

It showed a glimpse of our justice system from the death of Ikemefuna to the banishment of Okonkwo(one of the greatest man in his kindred).

It showed our sicknesseses and our strengths. It showed our flexible belief in the supernatural. A man' "chi" is the greatest. A man can offend Ojukwu and please Ani. A man can please Sango and displease Ogun. These religious beliefs helped rationalize any evil that visit anyone.

Soyinka is one of the greatest African writer and arguably the best Nigerian writer. Achebe writes with primarily African for African. When you read "There was a Country" , you understand the way Achebe approaches writing. I liken Achebe to Ngugi wa' Thiongo and Femi Osofisan.

Soyinka's Jero plays critiques the public Executions at the beach and pastors

The Man died was about his experiences as a Nigerian prisoner for 2 years on the suspicion that he was a Biafran spy.

His books tends to critique situations and are commonly satire

Correction 'Ojukwu tried to invade Lagos' but the Officer in charge of the invasion Major Ifeajuna (the guy who abducted Tafewa Balewa) refused to do so, instead he contacted Awolowo and started secretly negotiating for peace, he was caught and executed.

So even in war lots of Igbos still respected Yorubas.

Why don't you mention that in your tribal history?

The officer was a certain Victor Adebanjo:A yoruba man.
He didn't kill the Midwest Premier then and refused to advance to Lagos due to tactical reasons.

It wasn't because of any "supposed respect " by Igbos

Tinubu is not wise, he is just being criminal. It's like fearing a man with a cutlas.

Nigerians should be weary of a person who is the godfather of a criminal political drug ring. Organised crime is the worse kind because you don't know who you are dealing with.

What happened in Lagos during the gubernatorial election confirmed my fears. The people ruling Lagos are organised criminals.

Some Tinubu's supporters who saw this have quietly dissociated themselves from him. Mallam Shettima will soon realise that he is just a pawn. The people that will rule Nigeria under Tinubu (if the judiciary fails) know themselves.
Are you sure of the bolded?

Organized crime means that there is a hierarchy with a group or a boss at the top. You said one doesn't know who he is dealing with and proceeded to mention Tinubu'name. Therefore, you know who you are dealing with.

That paragraph is a walking contradiction.

Then, Organized crimes are some of the easiest to track and deal with as they have structure. You always know who you are dealing with becomes someone is in charge of one area. They are easiest to track by security agencies through their consolidated finance.

The only issue with Organized crime is that there is someone ready to take over leadership. They never die but remain like the hydra
